Jeremiah 27
1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoyakim the son of Josiah the king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
Uti Jojakims rikes begynnelse, Josia sons, Juda Konungs, skedde detta ordet af Herranom till Jeremia, och sade:
2 Thus said the Lord to me, Make for thyself bands and yoke-bars, and put them around thy neck,
Detta säger Herren till mig: Gör dig ett ok, och häng det på din hals;
3 And send such to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of 'Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Zidon, by means of the messengers who come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah the king of Judah;
Och sänd det till Konungen i Edom, till Konungen i Moab, till Konungen öfver Ammons barn, till Konungen i Tyro, och till Konungen i Zidon, med de sändningabåd, som till Zedekia, Juda Konung, till Jerusalem komne äro;
4 And thou shalt charge them unto their masters, saying, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say unto your masters,
Och befall dem, att de säga sina herrar: Detta säger Herren Zebaoth, Israels Gud: Så skolen I säga edra herrar:
5 It is I who have made the earth, the men, and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and I have given it unto the one who seemeth proper in my eyes.
Jag hafvet gjort jordena, och menniskona, och djuren, som på jordene äro, genom mina stora kraft och uträcktom arm, och gifver henne hvem jag vill.
6 And now it is I who have given all these countries into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and also the beasts of the field have I given him to serve him.
Men nu hafver jag gifvit all denna landen uti mins tjenares hand, NebucadNezars, Konungens i Babel, och hafver desslikes gifvit honom de vilddjur på markene, att de honom tjena skola.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his land is also come in its turn: when many nations and great kings shall make it serve.
Och all folk skola tjena honom, hans sone, och hans sonasone, tilldess hans lands tid ock kommer; då mång folk och stora Konungar skola låta tjena sig af honom.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put its neck in the yoke of the king of Babylon, —even that nation will I punish with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, saith the Lord, until I have made an end of them by his hand.
Men hvilket folk och rike icke vill tjena Konungenom af Babel, NebucadNezar, och hvilken som icke gifver sin hals under Konungens ok af Babel, det folket skall jag hemsöka med svärd, hunger och pestilentie, säger Herren, tilldess jag förgör dem genom hans hand.
9 But do ye not hearken to your prophets, and to your diviners, and to your dreamers, and to your enchanters, and to your sorcerers, who speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon;
Derföre hörer intet edra Propheter, spåmän, drömtydare, dagsväljare och trollkarlar, som säga eder: I varden intet tjenande Konungenom af Babel.
10 For falsehood do they prophesy unto you, in order to remove you far from your land; and that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish.
Förty de spå eder lögn, på det de skola draga eder långt bort utur edart land, och jag då utdrifver eder, och I förgåns.
11 But the nation that will bring its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, —that one will I then let remain quietly in its own land, saith the Lord: and it shall till it, and dwell therein.
Ty hvilket folk, som böjer sin hals under Konungens ok i Babel, och tjenar honom, dem skall jag låta blifva uti sitt land, att de måga der bygga och bo, säger Herren.
12 And unto Zedekiah the king of Judah did I speak in accordance with all these words, saying, Bring your neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, that ye may live.
Och jag talade allt detta, till Zedekia, Juda Konung, och sade: Böjer edar hals under Konungens ok i Babel, och tjener honom och hans folke, så skolen I blifva lefvande.
13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
Hvi viljen I dö, du och ditt folk, genom svärd, hunger och pestilentie; såsom Herren sagt hafver öfver det folk, som Konungenom i Babel icke tjena, vill?
14 And do ye not hearken unto the words of the prophets that say unto you, as followeth, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon; for a falsehood do they prophesy unto you.
Derföre hörer de Propheters ord intet, som säga eder: I varden intet tjenande Konungenom af Babel; ty de prophetera eder lögn.
15 For I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy in my name falsely: in order that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
Och jag hafver intet sändt dem, säger Herren, utan de prophetera lögn i mitt Namn på det jag skall utdrifva eder, och I förgås samt med Propheterna, som eder prophetera.
16 And unto the priests and unto all this people did I speak, saying, Thus hath said the Lord, Do not hearken to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of the Lord shall be brought again from Babylon now speedily; for a falsehood do they prophesy unto you.
Och till Presterna, och till allt detta folket talade jag, och sade: Detta säger Herren: Hörer edra Propheters ord intet, som eder prophetera, och säga: Si, de kärile af Herrans hus komma nu snart ifrå Babel hem igen; förty de prophetera eder lögn.
17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, that ye may live: wherefore should this city become a ruin?
Hörer dem intet; utan tjener Konungenom af Babel, så blifven I lefvande. Hvi skulle dock denna staden varda till ett öde?
18 And if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession with the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, may not be carried to Babylon.
Äro de Propheter, och hafva Herrans ord, så låt dem det Herranom Zebaoth afbedja, att de qvarblefne kärilen i Herrans hus och Juda Konungs hus, och i Jerusalem, icke också till Babel förde varda.
19 For thus hath said the Lord of hosts of the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that are left in this city,
Ty så säger Herren Zebaoth om stodarna, och om hafvet, och om stolarna, och om de tyg, som ännu qvarblefna äro i denna staden,
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon did not take away, when he carried away into exile Jechonyah the son of Jehoyakim the king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
De NebucadNezar, Konungen i Babel, icke borttog, då han bortförde Jechonia, Jojakims son, Juda Konung, ifrå Jerusalem till Babel, samt med alla Förstarna i Juda och Jerusalem;
21 [Yea] for thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem,
Ty så säger Herren Zebaoth, Israels Gud, om de tyg som ännu qvarblefne äro i Herrans hus, och i Juda Konungs hus, och i Jerusalem:
22 Unto Babylon shall they be carried, and there shall they remain until the day that I think of them, saith the Lord, when I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.
De skola till Babel förde varda, och der blifva intill den dagen, jag söker dem, säger Herren; och jag låter dem åter här uppkomma till detta rummet igen.
