Jeremiah 27
1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoyakim the son of Josiah the king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
೧ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ ಈ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಯಿತು.
2 Thus said the Lord to me, Make for thyself bands and yoke-bars, and put them around thy neck,
೨“ಇದೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ, ನೀನು ಕಣ್ಣಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೊಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಗಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು,
3 And send such to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of 'Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Zidon, by means of the messengers who come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah the king of Judah;
೩ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿರುವ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದೋಮಿನ ರಾಜ, ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ರಾಜ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ರಾಜ, ತೂರಿನ ರಾಜ, ಚೀದೋನಿನ ರಾಜ, ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸು.
4 And thou shalt charge them unto their masters, saying, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say unto your masters,
೪ನೀನು ಆ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ‘ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು.’
5 It is I who have made the earth, the men, and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and I have given it unto the one who seemeth proper in my eyes.
೫‘ನಾನೇ ಕೈ ನೀಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಹಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಲೋಕವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಣ ಮಾನವರನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಈ ನನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಸರಿತೋಚಿದವನಿಗೇ ಕೊಡಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
6 And now it is I who have given all these countries into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and also the beasts of the field have I given him to serve him.
೬ಈಗ ಈ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ಆದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಕೈವಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅವನ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his land is also come in its turn: when many nations and great kings shall make it serve.
೭ಅವನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲವು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುವ ತನಕ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಮಗನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನಿಗೂ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವವು; ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ ಮಹಾರಾಜರೂ ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಅಡಿಯಾಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put its neck in the yoke of the king of Babylon, —even that nation will I punish with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, saith the Lord, until I have made an end of them by his hand.
೮ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗ, ಯಾವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಲಿಕ್ಕೂ, ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ನೊಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಗಲು ಕೊಡಲಿಕ್ಕೂ ಒಪ್ಪದೆ ಇರುವನೋ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಖಡ್ಗ, ಕ್ಷಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ದಂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದು, ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೇ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿಸುವೆನು’ ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
9 But do ye not hearken to your prophets, and to your diviners, and to your dreamers, and to your enchanters, and to your sorcerers, who speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon;
೯‘ನೀವು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನುಡಿಯುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು, ಶಕುನದವರು, ಕನಸಿನವರು, ಕಣಿಯವರು, ಮಾಟದವರು, ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲೇಬಾರದು.
10 For falsehood do they prophesy unto you, in order to remove you far from your land; and that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish.
೧೦ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೀವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ದೇಶಭ್ರಷ್ಟರಾಗಿ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ದುರ್ಬೋಧನೆಯು ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗುವುದು.
11 But the nation that will bring its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, —that one will I then let remain quietly in its own land, saith the Lord: and it shall till it, and dwell therein.
೧೧ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ನೊಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಗಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗುವುದೋ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯಮಾಡಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.”
12 And unto Zedekiah the king of Judah did I speak in accordance with all these words, saying, Bring your neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, that ye may live.
೧೨ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದೆನು, “ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ನೊಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಗಲುಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಿರಿ, ಆಗ ಬದುಕುವಿರಿ.
13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
೧೩ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರೂ ಖಡ್ಗ ಕ್ಷಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ಏಕೆ ಸಾಯಬೇಕು? ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಲು ಒಪ್ಪದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನಷ್ಟೆ.
14 And do ye not hearken unto the words of the prophets that say unto you, as followeth, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon; for a falsehood do they prophesy unto you.
೧೪‘ನೀವು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನುಡಿಯುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
15 For I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy in my name falsely: in order that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
೧೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತಿ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀವೂ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ದುರ್ಬೋಧನೆಯು ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗುವುದು.’”
16 And unto the priests and unto all this people did I speak, saying, Thus hath said the Lord, Do not hearken to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of the Lord shall be brought again from Babylon now speedily; for a falsehood do they prophesy unto you.
೧೬ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ ಈ ಸಕಲಜನರಿಗೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದೆನು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಬೇಗನೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲ್ಪಡುವವು’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, that ye may live: wherefore should this city become a ruin?
೧೭ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲೇ ಬಾರದು; ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಿರಿ, ಬದುಕುವಿರಿ.
18 And if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession with the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, may not be carried to Babylon.
೧೮ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಏಕೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಬೇಕು? ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಈಗ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
19 For thus hath said the Lord of hosts of the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that are left in this city,
೧೯ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆ ಒಯ್ದಾಗ ಕೆಲವು ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ.
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon did not take away, when he carried away into exile Jechonyah the son of Jehoyakim the king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
೨೦ಆ ಕಂಬಗಳು, ಸಮುದ್ರವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು, ಪೀಠಗಳು, ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು, ಇವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ, ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ,
21 [Yea] for thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem,
೨೧ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ,
22 Unto Babylon shall they be carried, and there shall they remain until the day that I think of them, saith the Lord, when I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.
೨೨‘ಅವು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುವ ದಿನದ ತನಕ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವವು; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ತಂದು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವೆನು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.’”
