Jeremiah 27
1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoyakim the son of Josiah the king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
I Josiass Søns, Kong Jojakim af Judas, første regeringstid kom dette Ord til Jeremias fra HERREN:
2 Thus said the Lord to me, Make for thyself bands and yoke-bars, and put them around thy neck,
Således sagde HERREN til mig: Gør dig Reb og Ågstænger og læg dem på din Hals
3 And send such to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of 'Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Zidon, by means of the messengers who come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah the king of Judah;
og send Edoms, Moabs, Ammoniternes, Tyruss og Zidons Konger Bud ved deres Sendemænd, som er kommet til Kong Zedekias af Juda i Jerusalem;
4 And thou shalt charge them unto their masters, saying, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say unto your masters,
byd dem at sige til deres Herrer: Så siger Hærskarers HERRE. Israels Gud: Sig til eders Herrer:
5 It is I who have made the earth, the men, and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and I have given it unto the one who seemeth proper in my eyes.
Jeg skabte Jorden og Menneskene og Kvæget på Jorden ved min vældige Styrke og min udrakte Hånd, og jeg giver den, til hvem jeg finder for godt.
6 And now it is I who have given all these countries into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and also the beasts of the field have I given him to serve him.
Og nu giver jeg alle disse Lande i min Tjener Kong Nebukadnezar af Babels Hånd, selv Markens Vildt giver jeg hen til at trælle for ham.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his land is also come in its turn: when many nations and great kings shall make it serve.
Alle Folk skal trælle for ham, hans Søn og Sønnesøn, indtil også hans Lands Time slår og mange Folkeslag og store Konger gør ham til deres Træl.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put its neck in the yoke of the king of Babylon, —even that nation will I punish with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, saith the Lord, until I have made an end of them by his hand.
Og det Folk og det Rige, som ikke vil trælle for ham, Kong Nebukadnezar af Babel, og bøje Hals under Babels Konges Åg, det vil jeg hjemsøge med Sværd, Hunger og Pest, lyder det fra HERREN, til det er tilintetgjort ved hans Hånd.
9 But do ye not hearken to your prophets, and to your diviners, and to your dreamers, and to your enchanters, and to your sorcerers, who speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon;
I skal ikke høre på eders Profeter og Spåmænd, eders Drømmere, Sandsigere og Troldmænd, som siger til eder: "I skal ikke komme til at trælle for Babels Konge;
10 For falsehood do they prophesy unto you, in order to remove you far from your land; and that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish.
thi det er Løgn, de profeterer for eder for at få eder bort fra eders Jord, idet jeg da driver eder bort og I går til Grunde.
11 But the nation that will bring its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, —that one will I then let remain quietly in its own land, saith the Lord: and it shall till it, and dwell therein.
Men det Folk, der bøjer Hals under Babels Konges Åg og træller for ham, vil jeg lade blive på sin Jord, lyder det fra HERREN, så det kan dyrke den og bo der.
12 And unto Zedekiah the king of Judah did I speak in accordance with all these words, saying, Bring your neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, that ye may live.
Og til Kong Zedekias af Juda talte jeg i Overensstemmelse med alle disse Ord: Bøj Hals under Babels Konges Åg og træl for ham og hans Folk, så skal I leve.
13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
Hvorfor vil du og dit Folk dø ved Sværd, Hunger og Pest, således som HERREN truede det Folk, der ikke vil trælle for Babels Konge?
14 And do ye not hearken unto the words of the prophets that say unto you, as followeth, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon; for a falsehood do they prophesy unto you.
Hør ikke på Profeternes Ord, når de siger til eder: "I skal ikke komme til at trælle for Babels Konge"; thi Løgn profeterer de eder.
15 For I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy in my name falsely: in order that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
Jeg har ikke sendt dem, lyder det fra HERREN, og de profeterer Løgn i mit Navn, for at jeg skal bortstøde eder, så I går til Grunde sammen med Profeterne, der profeterer for eder.
16 And unto the priests and unto all this people did I speak, saying, Thus hath said the Lord, Do not hearken to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of the Lord shall be brought again from Babylon now speedily; for a falsehood do they prophesy unto you.
Og til Præsterne og alt dette Folk talte jeg således: Så siger HERREN: Hør ikke på eders Profeters Ord, når de profeterer for eder og siger: "Se, HERRENs Huss Kar skal nu snart føres hjem fra Babel." Thi Løgn profeterer de eder.
17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, that ye may live: wherefore should this city become a ruin?
Hør dem ikke, men træl for Babels Konge, så skal I leve. Hvorfor skal denne By lægges øde?
18 And if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession with the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, may not be carried to Babylon.
Er de Profeter og har HERRENs Ord, så lad dem gå i forbøn hos Hærskarers HERRE, at de Kar, der er tilbage i HERRENs Hus og Judas konges Palads, ikke også skal komme til Babel.
19 For thus hath said the Lord of hosts of the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that are left in this city,
Thi så siger Hærskarers HERRE om Søjlerne, Havet og Stellene og om de sidste Kar, der er tilbage i denne By,
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon did not take away, when he carried away into exile Jechonyah the son of Jehoyakim the king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
dem, som Kong Nebukadnezar af Babel ikke tog med, da han bortførte Jojakims søn, Kong Jekonja af Juda, fra Jerusalem til Babel med alle de ypperste i Juda og Jerusalem,
21 [Yea] for thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem,
ja, så siger Hærskarers HERRE, Israels Gud, om de kar, der er tilbage i HERRENs Hus og Judas Konges Palads og i Jerusalem:
22 Unto Babylon shall they be carried, and there shall they remain until the day that I think of them, saith the Lord, when I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.
De skal føres til Babel, og der skal de blive, til den Dag jeg tager mig af dem og fører dem op og bringer dem tilbage hertil, lyder det fra HERREN.
