< Jeremiah 24 >
1 The Lord caused me to see, and, behold, there were two baskets of figs placed before the temple of the Lord, after Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon had carried away into exile Yechonyahu the son of Yehoyakim the king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and the locksmiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
Nangipakita ni Yahweh iti maysa a banag kaniak. Nakitak iti dua a basket ti igos a naikabil iti sangoanan ti templo ni Yahweh. (Napasamak daytoy a sirmata kalpasan nga impanaw ni Nebucadnesar, nga ari iti Babilonia, ni Jeconias a putot ni Jehoyakim nga ari ti Juda, dagiti opisial ti Juda, dagiti kumikitikit, dagiti agpanpanday manipud Jerusalem ket impanna ida kas balud idiay Babilonia.)
2 The one basket [had] very good figs, like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket [had] very bad figs, which could not be eaten, from being so bad.
Maysa a basket nga igos ti nasayaat, kasla umuna a naluom nga igos dagitoy, ngem ti sabali a basket ti igos ket nalungsot ken saan a mabalin a kanen dagitoy.
3 Then said the Lord unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs: the good figs, are very good; and the bad ones, are very bad, which cannot be eaten, from being so bad.
Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Ania ti makitam Jeremias?” Kinunak, “Igos. Igos a nasayaat unay ken igos a nalungsot a saanen a mabalin a kanen.”
4 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Ket immay kaniak ti sao ni Yahweh a kinunana,
5 Thus hath said the Lord, the God of Israel, Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge the exiles of Judah, whom I have sent away from this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.
“Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, a Dios ti Israel: Talliawekto dagiti naitalaw a kas balud manipud iti Juda para iti pagsayaatanda, kas kadagitoy nasayaat nga igos, dagiti naipanaw a kas balud manipud iti daytoy a lugar nga impaipanko iti daga dagiti Caldeo.
6 And I will set my eye upon them for good, and I will cause them to return again to this land; and I will build them up, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
Ikitakto dagiti matak kadakuada a maipaay iti pagsayaatanda ket isublikto ida iti daytoy a daga. Ipatakderkonto ida a saan ket a rebbaen. Imulakto ida, a saan ket a paruten.
7 And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be unto me for a people, and I will be unto them for God! for they will return unto me with all their heart.
Ket ikkakto ida iti puso a mangam-ammo kaniak, ta siak ni Yahweh. Agbalindanto a tattaok ken Siakto ti Diosda, Iti kasta agsublidanto kaniak iti amin a pusoda.
8 And like the bad figs, which cannot be eaten, from being so bad, surely thus hath said the Lord, So I will render Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and those that dwell in the land of Egypt;
Ngem kas iti nadadael nga igos a saanen a mabalin a kanen— kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh—Agtignayakto iti kastoy a wagas kenni Zedekias nga ari ti Juda, agraman dagiti opisialna, ken kadagiti dadduma pay iti Jerusalem a nagtalinaed iti daytoy a daga wenno mapanda agnaed iti daga ti Egipto.
9 And I will make them a horror because of [their] mishaps unto all the kingdoms of the earth, a disgrace and a proverb, a byword and a curse, in all the places whither I will drive them.
Pagbalinekto ida a nakabutbuteng, maysa a didigra, iti imatang dagiti amin a pagarian iti daga, maysa a nakababain, ken linaonto dagiti proverbio, pananguyaw, ken lunod iti tungga lugar a pangipanakto kadakuada.
10 And I will send out against them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, till they be destroyed from off the land that I had given unto them and to their fathers.
Mangiyegakto kadakuada iti kampilan, bisin, ken didigra, aggibusdanto manipud iti daga nga intedko kadakuada ken kadagiti kapuonanda.”
