Jeremiah 17
1 The sin of Judah is written down with a pen of iron, with the point of a diamond: it is engraved upon the table of their heart, and on the horns of your altars.
Jūda grēki ir rakstīti ar dzelzs rakstāmo, ar dimanta asmeni, tie ir ierakstīti viņu sirds galdā un uz jūsu altāru ragiem,
2 Like their remembrance of their children, so are [to them] their altars and their groves by [every] green tree upon the high hills.
Tā ka viņu bērni piemin savus altārus un savas Ašeras pie zaļiem kokiem uz augstiem pakalniem.
3 O my mountain in the field, thy substance, all thy treasures will I give up for spoil, thy high-places [reared] with sin, throughout all thy borders.
Bet Es Savu kalnu līdz ar to tīrumu, tavu padomu un visas tavas mantas nodošu par laupījumu līdz ar taviem elku kalniem, to grēku dēļ, kas visās tavās robežās.
4 And thou shalt be cast out, yea through thy own guilt, from thy heritage which I have given thee; and I will cause thee to serve thy enemies in a land which thou knowest not; for a fire have ye kindled in my anger, for ever shall it burn.
Tā tu caur savu paša vainu no savas daļas tapsi izdzīts, ko Es tev biju devis. Un Es tev likšu kalpot taviem ienaidniekiem zemē, ko tu nepazīsti; jo jūs Manas bardzības uguni esat iededzinājuši, kas degs mūžīgi.
5 Thus hath said the Lord, Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, and placeth on flesh his dependence, while from the Lord his heart departeth.
Tā saka Tas Kungs: Nolādēts tas cilvēks, kas paļaujas uz cilvēkiem un ieceļ miesu par savu elkoni, un kā sirds no Tā Kunga atkāpjās.
6 And he shall be like a lonely tree in the desert, which feeleth not when the good cometh; but abideth in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salty land which cannot be inhabited.
Jo tas būs tā kā vientulis koks klajumā un neredzēs labumu nākam, bet paliek izkaltušās tuksneša vietās, neauglīgā zemē, kur neviens nedzīvo.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and the Lord will be his trust.
Svētīgs tas cilvēks, kas uz To Kungu paļaujas, un kura cerība ir Tas Kungs.
8 And he shall be like a tree that is planted by the waters, and by a stream spreadeth out its roots, which feeleth not when heat cometh, but its leaf remaineth green; and in a year of drought it is undisturbed by care, and ceaseth not from yielding fruit.
Jo tas būs kā koks, kas pie ūdens dēstīts, kas savas saknes izlaiž pie upes un nejūt, kad karstums nāk; viņa lapas paliek zaļas, un sausā gadā viņš nebēdā un nemitās augļus nest.
9 Deceitful is the heart above all things, and sick: who can know it?
Sirds ir viltīga pār visām lietām un samaitāta, kas to var izzināt?
10 I the Lord search the heart, probe the reins: yea, to give unto every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.
Es, Tas Kungs, izmanu sirdi un pārbaudu īkstis un dodu ikvienam pēc viņa ceļiem, pēc viņa darbu augļiem.
11 As a cuckoo that sitteth on eggs which he hath not laid, so is he that get the riches, and not by right; in the midst of his days shall he leave them, and at his end shall be called wicked.
Tā kā irbe perē olas, ko nav dējusi, tāpat ir, kas bagātību sakrāj, bet ne ar taisnību; pusmūžā viņam tā jāatstāj un galā viņš ir ģeķis.
12 A throne of glory, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary!
Bet Tu godības sēdeklis, augsts no iesākuma, mūsu svētuma vieta,
13 Hope of Israel, O Lord, all that forsake thee shall be made ashamed, and the backsliders among me shall be written down on the earth; because they have forsaken the fountain of living waters, the Lord.
Ak Kungs, Tu Israēla cerība, visi, kas Tevi atstāj, taps kaunā! “Tie, kas no Manis atkāpjas, taps zemē rakstīti, jo tie atstāj To Kungu, to dzīvā ūdens avotu.”
14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed: save me, and I shall be saved; for my praise art thou.
Dziedini mani, ak Kungs, tad es būšu dziedināts, atpestī mani, tad es būšu atpestīts, jo tu esi mana slava.
15 Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.
Redzi, tie uz mani saka: kur ir Tā Kunga vārds? Lai jel nāk.
16 As for me, I have not hastened to be a shepherd to follow thee; and the woeful day have I not longed for; thou knowest it: what came out of my lips was known before thee.
Bet es neesmu liedzies, par ganu būt, Tev pakaļ iet, un nelaimes dienas es neesmu vēlējies. Tu to zini: kas no manas mutes izgājis, tas ir atklāts Tavā priekšā.
17 Be not a terror unto me: thou art my protection on the day of evil.
Neesi man par briesmām! Tu esi mans patvērums ļaunā dienā.
18 Let those be made ashamed that persecute me, but let not me be made ashamed: let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and strike them with a double breach.
Lai mani vajātāji top kaunā, bet lai es netopu kaunā; lai tie top iztrūcināti, bet lai es netopu iztrūcināts; lai nāk pār tiem nelaimes diena, un satriec tos ar divkārtīgu satriekšanu.
19 Thus said the Lord unto me, Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah usually enter, and by which they usually go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;
Tā Tas Kungs uz mani sacīs: ej un stāvi ļaužu vārtos, kur Jūda ķēniņi ieiet, un kur tie iziet, un visos Jeruzālemes vārtos,
20 And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the Lord, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates.
Un saki uz tiem: klausiet Tā Kunga vārdu, Jūda ķēniņi, un visa Jūda cilts, un visi Jeruzālemes iedzīvotāji, kas pa šiem vārtiem ieejat.
21 Thus hath said the Lord, Take heed for your souls, and bear no burden on the sabbath-day, nor bring it in through the gates of Jerusalem;
Tā saka Tas Kungs: sargājaties par savām dvēselēm, un nenesiet nekādu nastu svētdienā, un nevediet nekā pa Jeruzālemes vārtiem.
22 Nor shall you carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath-day, and no manner of work shall ye do, but hallow ye the sabbath-day, as I have commanded your fathers;
Un neiznesiet nastas no saviem namiem svētdienā un nedariet nekādu darbu, bet svētījiet to svēto dienu, kā Es jūsu tēviem esmu pavēlējis.
23 But they hearkened not, and inclined not their ear; and they made their neck stiff, so as not to hearken, and not to receive instruction.
Bet tie nav klausījuši nedz savas ausis atgriezuši, bet tie bijuši stūrgalvīgi un nav klausījuši un mācību nav pieņēmuši.
24 And it shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken unto me, saith the Lord, so as to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath-day, and to hallow the sabbath-day, so as to do no work thereon:
Tad nu tā notiks: ja jūs Mani klausīt klausīsiet, saka Tas Kungs, un nenesīsiet nastas pa šīs pilsētas vārtiem svētdienā, un svētīsiet to svēto dienu, tai dienā nekādu darbu nedarīdami,
25 Then shall there enter through the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall be inhabited for ever.
Tad pa šīs pilsētas vārtiem ies ķēniņi un lielkungi, kas sēž uz Dāvida goda krēsla un brauks ar ratiem un zirgiem, tie un viņu lielkungi, Jūda vīri un Jeruzālemes iedzīvotāji, un šī pilsēta stāvēs mūžīgi.
26 And there shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the environs of Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the lowlands, and from the mountain, and from the south, those that bring burnt-offerings, and sacrifices, and meat-offerings, and frankincense, and those that bring thanksgiving-offerings, unto the house of the Lord.
Un nāks no Jūda pilsētām un no Jeruzālemes apkārtnes un no Benjamina zemes un no lejas un no kalniem un no dienvidiem(Negebas) un atnesīs dedzināmu upuri un kaujamu upuri un ēdamu upuri un vīraku, un pienesīs teikšanas upuri Tā Kunga namā.
27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath-day, and not to bear a burden, and to enter in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath-day: then will I kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
Bet ja jūs Mani neklausīsiet, svēto dienu nesvētīdami un svētdienā nastas nesdami pa Jeruzālemes vārtiem, tad Es viņas vārtos iededzināšu uguni, kas aprīs Jeruzālemes skaistos namus un neizdzisīs.
