Isaiah 61
1 The Spirit of the Lord Eternal is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to announce good tidings unto the meek: he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim to captives Liberty, and to prisoners Release;
El Espíritu del Señor Jehová es sobre mí; porque me ungió Jehová: envióme a predicar a los abatidos: a atar las llagas de los quebrantados de corazón, a publicar libertad a los cautivos, y a los presos abertura de la cárcel:
2 To proclaim a year of favor of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all mourners;
A publicar año de la buena voluntad de Jehová, y día de venganza del Dios nuestro: a consolar a todos los enlutados:
3 To grant unto the mourners of Zion, —to give unto them ornament in the place of ashes, oil of gladness in the place of mourning, garments of praise in the place of a grieved spirit; that they may be called, Oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
A ordenar a Sión a los enlutados, para darles gloria en lugar de la ceniza, óleo de gozo en lugar del luto, manto de alegría en lugar del espíritu angustiado; y serán llamados árboles de justicia, plantación de Jehová, para glorificarme.
4 And they shall build up the ancient ruins, desolate places of former times shall they raise up, and they shall renew ruined cities, the desolate places of many generations.
Y edificarán los desiertos antiguos, y levantarán los asolamientos primeros; y restaurarán las ciudades asoladas, los asolamientos de muchas generaciones.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your ploughmen and your vintners.
Y estarán extranjeros, y apacentarán vuestras ovejas; y los extraños serán vuestros labradores, y vuestros viñeros.
6 But ye, ye shall be called, Priests of the Lord; Ministers of our God, shall be said unto you: the wealth of nations shall ye consume, and in their glory shall ye be placed as possessors.
Y vosotros seréis llamados sacerdotes de Jehová; ministros del Dios nuestro seréis dichos: comeréis la fuerza de las naciones, y con su gloria seréis sublimes.
7 In the place of your twofold shame, —and the confusion of which they loudly complained as their portion: therefore in their land shall they possess a twofold [portion]; everlasting joy shall be granted unto them.
En lugar de vuestra vergüenza doble; y de vuestra deshonra, os alabarán en sus heredades: por lo cual en sus tierras poseerán doblado, y habrán gozo perpetuo.
8 For I the Lord love justice, I hate robbery with burnt-offering: therefore will I give them the recompense of their work in truth, and an everlasting covenant will I make with them.
Porque yo Jehová soy amador del derecho, aborrecedor del latrocinio para holocausto: que confirmaré en verdad su obra, y haré con ellos concierto perpetuo.
9 And among the nations shall their seed be known, and their offspring in the midst of the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed whom the Lord hath blessed.
Y la simiente de ellos será conocida entre las naciones, y sus renuevos en medio de los pueblos: todos los que los vieren, los conocerán, que son simiente bendita de Jehová.
10 I will be greatly glad in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, with the mantle of righteousness hath he enveloped me, as a bridegroom decketh himself with elegant attire, and as a bride adorneth herself with her bridal array.
Gozando me gozaré en Jehová, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque me vistió de vestidos de salud, me cercó de manto de justicia: como a novio me atavió, y como a novia compuesta de sus joyas.
11 For, as the earth bringeth forth her growth, and as a garden causeth what is sown therein to spring forth: thus will the Lord Eternal cause righteousness and praise to spring forth in the presence of all the nations.
Porque como la tierra produce su renuevo, y como el huerto hace brotar su simiente; así el Señor Jehová hará brotar justicia y alabanza, delante de todas las naciones.
