< Isaiah 6 >
1 In the year of king 'Uzziyahu's death I saw the Lord sitting upon a high and exalted throne, and his train filled the temple.
Lengpa Uzziah thi kum chun keiman Pakai kanamu’n ahi. Ama chu laltouna kikhangsang chungah atouvin, alal pon kailha chun houin sung alodimsoh-e.
2 Seraphim were standing around him, each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two did he fly.
Ama jenleho chu thahattah seraphim, lhaving gup cheh nei ahiuve. Alhavingu nia chun amaiyu akhuvin, nia chun akengu akhuvin, nia chun alengun ahi.
3 And one called unto the other, and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.
Amaho chu akikoutovin, “Atheng, atheng, atheng chu Vantilte Pakai chu ahi! Leiset pumpi hi aloupinan adimsoh-e!” atiuvin ahi.
4 And the posts of the threshold shook at the voice of those that called aloud, and the house was filled with smoke.
Langei loupitah chun Houin chu akhombul lam chan geiyin ahotlinglha jeng ta’n, hichun amuntheng chu meikhun atom jeng tai.
5 And I said, Woe is me! for I am lost; because a man of unclean lips am I, and in the midst of a people of unclean lips do I dwell; for the King, the Lord of hosts have my eyes seen.
Hichun keiman, “Ohe! Suhmanga umding kahitai, ijeh-inem iti leh keima michonse kahi’n, sapset nammite laha khat kahi. Ahinla keiman Lengpa, Pakai Hatchungnung chu kamutai!” katitan ahi.
6 Then flew unto me one of the seraphim, and in his hand was a live coal, with the tongs had he taken it from off the altar:
Chuin alah-uva khat chun maicham phunga kon’a songmeihol am khat chaichea ache chu hin choipumin kahenglam jonin ahung lengpheiyin ahi.
7 And he touched therewith upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thy iniquity is departed, and thy sin is forgiven.
Meiam chun kanephu ade-in, “Ven, hiche meiam hin nanephuteni asukhatai. Tuhin nathemmona akisubeitan, nachonsetna akingaidam tai,” atiin ahi.
8 And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? And I said, Here am I: send me.
Chuin Pakaiyin thudoh ahinbolin, “Kamite henga thulhut dinga koi kasol ding ham? Keiho dinga koi chediham?” ahin titai. Hichun keiman, “Pakai, keima che’nge! neisolin,” katitai.
9 And he said, Go, and say unto this people, Hear indeed, but understand not; and see indeed, but know not.
Aman aseiyin, “Henge, che’n. Hinla kamite komah: Kathu najah diu, ahivanga nahetlou diu. Kathilbol namudiu, ahivanga ipi avetsah ham nahetdohlou diu ahi,’ tiin gaseipehtan,
10 Obdurate will remain the heart of this people, and their ears will be heavy, and their eyes will be shut: so that they will not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor their hearts be understanding, so that they be converted, and healing be granted them.
Hiche mite hi alungu sutah-in. Anakhangu huhbitnin lang amit’nu chosah-in. Chutileh amahon amitteniuva amulou diu, anakhanguva ajahlou diu, alungthimuva ahettheilou diu chuteng adamnadiuva kahenglama hung kihei diu ahi,” ati.
11 And I said, How long, O Lord? And he said, Until that cities be left waste without an inhabitant, and houses without man, and the soil be made desolate as a wilderness,
Hichun keiman, “Pakai, ichan gei hitia chu kabol ding ham?” kati leh, Ama’n eidonbutnin, “Akhopihou khat jeng jong hoidohlouva achimlhuhsoh gam kahse le ainnhou dalhah-a aumsoh takah chuleh agam’u ahomkeo ahisoh kahse;
12 And the Lord will have removed far away the men, and the depopulation be great in the midst of the land.
Pakaiyin Israel mite gamlataha anomanga chuleh Israel gam pumpi khogemnung ahisohhel kahse hiding ahi.
13 And should a tenth part thereof yet remain, it will again be swept away: [yet] like the terebinth and the oak, which, when they cast their leaves, retain their stems, so remaineth the holy seed, its stem.
Chuleh mi som jengcha — akidalha — asohcha aumjongleh kibulu kit’na kihallhahbe kit ding ahi. Israel chu thingkungbul, aphung kitanbong tobang hiding, ahivanga akungbul chu muchi theng hintin hung khangdoh kit ding ahi,” ati.
