Isaiah 54

1 Sing, O barren one, that thou hast not born: break forth into song, and rejoice aloud, that thou hast not travailed; for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.

௧பிள்ளைபெறாத மலடியே, மகிழ்ந்துபாடு; கர்ப்பவேதனைப்படாதவளே, கெம்பீரமாகப் பாடி ஆனந்த சத்தமிடு; வாழ்க்கைப்பட்டவளுடைய பிள்ளைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும், தனியாக இருக்கும் பெண்ணுடைய பிள்ளைகள் அதிகம் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.

2 Enlarge the space of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations, —spare not: lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

௨உன் கூடாரத்தின் இடத்தை விசாலமாக்கு; உன் குடியிருப்புகளின் திரைகள் விரிவாகட்டும்; தடைசெய்யாதே; உன் கயிறுகளை நீளமாக்கி, உன் முளைகளை உறுதிப்படுத்து.

3 For to the right and to the left shalt thou spread forth; and thy seed shall drive out nations, desolate cities shall they repeople.

௩நீ வலதுபுறத்திலும் இடதுபுறத்திலும் இடங்கொண்டு பெருகுவாய்; உன் சந்ததியார் தேசங்களைச் சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொண்டு, பாழாய்க்கிடந்த பட்டணங்களைக் குடியேற்றுவிப்பார்கள்.

4 Fear not, for thou shalt not be made ashamed; and be not confounded, for thou shalt not be put to the blush; for the shame of thy youth shalt thou forget, and the reproach of thy widowhood shalt thou not remember any more.

௪பயப்படாதே, நீ வெட்கப்படுவதில்லை; வெட்கப்படாதே, நீ அவமானமடைவதில்லை; உன் வாலிபத்தின் வெட்கத்தை நீ மறந்து, உன் விதவையிருப்பின் நிந்தையை இனி நினைக்காமலிருப்பாய்.

5 For thy husband is thy Maker, the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, “The God of all the earth,” shall he be called.

௫உன் சிருஷ்டிகரே உன் நாயகர்; சேனைகளின் யெகோவா என்பது அவருடைய நாமம், இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தர் உன் மீட்பர், அவர் சர்வபூமியின் தேவன் என்னப்படுவார்.

6 For as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit did the Lord call thee back, and as a wife of youth, that was rejected, saith thy God.

௬கைவிடப்பட்டு மனம்நொந்தவளான பெண்ணைப்போலவும், இளம்பிராயத்தில் திருமணம்செய்து விவாகரத்து செய்யப்பட்ட மனைவியைப்போலவும் இருக்கிற உன்னைக் யெகோவா அழைத்தார் என்று உன் தேவன் சொல்கிறார்.

7 But for a brief moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I again receive thee.

௭இமைப்பொழுது உன்னைக் கைவிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களால் உன்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வேன்.

8 In a little wrath did I hide my face for a moment from thee; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith thy Redeemer the Lord.

௮அற்பகாலம் மூண்ட கோபத்தினால் என் முகத்தை இமைப்பொழுது உனக்கு மறைத்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று யெகோவாவாகிய உன் மீட்பர் சொல்கிறார்.

9 For as the waters of Noah is this unto me; as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more pass over the earth: so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

௯இது எனக்கு நோவாவின் காலத்திலுண்டான வெள்ளம்போல் இருக்கும்; நோவாவின் காலத்திலுண்டான வெள்ளம் இனி பூமியின்மேல் புரண்டுவருவதில்லை என்று நான் ஆணையிட்டதுபோல, உன்மேல் நான் கோபம்கொள்வதில்லையென்றும், உன்னை நான் கடிந்துகொள்வதில்லையென்றும் ஆணையிட்டேன்.

10 For the mountains may depart, and the hills may be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith he that hath mercy on thee, the Lord.

௧0மலைகள் விலகினாலும், மலைகள் நிலைபெயர்ந்தாலும், என் கிருபை உன்னைவிட்டு விலகாமலும், என் சமாதானத்தின் உடன்படிக்கை நிலைபெயராமலும் இருக்கும் என்று, உன்மேல் மனதுருகுகிற யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.

11 O thou afflicted, tossed by the tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

௧௧சிறுமைப்பட்டவளே, பெருங்காற்றில் அடிபட்டவளே, தேற்றரவு இல்லாதவளே, இதோ, நான் உன் கற்களைப் பிரகாசிக்கும்படி வைத்து, நீலரத்தினங்களை உன் அஸ்திபாரமாக்கி,

12 And I will make of rubies thy battlements, and thy gates into carbuncle-stones, and all thy borders into precious stones.

௧௨உன் பலகணிகளைப் பளிங்கும், உன் வாசல்களை மாணிக்கக் கற்களும், உன் மதில்களையெல்லாம் விலையுயர்ந்த கற்களுமாக்குவேன்.

13 And all thy children shall be disciples of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

௧௩உன் பிள்ளைகளெல்லோரும் யெகோவாவால் போதிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பார்கள்; உன் பிள்ளைகளுடைய சமாதானம் பெரிதாயிருக்கும்.

14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: keep far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near unto thee.

௧௪நீதியினால் உறுதியாக்கப்பட்டிருப்பாய்; கொடுமைக்குத் தூரமாவாய்; பயமில்லாதிருப்பாய்; திகிலுக்குத் தூரமாவாய், அது உன்னை அணுகுவதில்லை.

15 Behold, they that assemble together, are nothing without me: whatsoever assembleth together against thee shall fall under thy power.

௧௫இதோ, உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூட்டங்கூடினால், அது என்னாலே கூடுகிற கூட்டமல்ல; எவர்கள் உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூடுகிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் உன் ஆளுகைக்குள்ளாக வருவார்கள்.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have also created the waster to destroy.

௧௬இதோ, கரிநெருப்பை ஊதி, தன் வேலைக்கான ஆயுதத்தை உண்டாக்குகிற கொல்லனையும் நான் படைத்தேன்; கெடுத்து நாசமாக்குகிறவனையும் நான் படைத்தேன்.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that will rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their due reward from me, saith the Lord.

௧௭உனக்கு விரோதமாக உருவாக்கப்படும் எந்த ஆயுதமும் வாய்க்காமல்போகும்; உனக்கு விரோதமாக நியாயத்தில் எழும்பும் எந்த நாவையும் நீ குற்றப்படுத்துவாய்; இது யெகோவாவுடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் உரிமையும், என்னாலுண்டான அவர்களுடைய நீதியுமாயிருக்கிறதென்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
