Isaiah 52

1 Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, thou holy city; for no more shall enter into thee henceforth the uncircumcised and the unclean.

۱ بیدار شو‌ای صهیون! بیدار شو و قوت خود را بپوش‌ای شهر مقدس اورشلیم! لباس زیبایی خویش را در بر کن زیرا که نامختون و ناپاک بار دیگر داخل تو نخواهد شد.

2 Shake thyself free from the dust, arise, sit down, O Jerusalem: loosen thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive, daughter of Zion.

۲ ‌ای اورشلیم خود را از گرد بیفشان و برخاسته، بنشین! و‌ای دختر صهیون که اسیر شده‌ای بندهای گردن خود را بگشا!

3 For thus hath said the Lord, For naught were you sold, and without silver shall ye be redeemed.

۳ زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: مفت فروخته کشتید و بی‌نقره فدیه داده خواهیدشد.

4 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Into Egypt went my people down aforetimes, to sojourn there, and Asshur hath oppressed it without cause.

۴ چونکه خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: که درایام سابق قوم من به مصر فرود شدند تا در آنجاساکن شوند و بعد از آن آشور بر ایشان بی‌سبب ظلم نمودند.

5 And now what have I here, saith the Lord, since my people hath been taken away for naught? its rulers vaunt aloud, saith the Lord, and continually, all the day, is my name blasphemed.

۵ اما الان خداوند می‌گوید: در اینجامرا چه‌کار است که قوم من مجان گرفتار شده‌اند. و خداوند می‌گوید: آنانی که بر ایشان تسلط دارندصیحه می‌زنند و نام من دائم هر روز اهانت می‌شود.

6 Therefore shall my people know my name, therefore on that day, that I am he that speaketh it: here am I.

۶ بنابراین قوم من اسم مرا خواهندشناخت. و در آن روز خواهند فهمید که تکلم کننده من هستم، هان من هستم.

7 How beautiful are upon the mountains the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that publisheth peace, that announceth tidings of happiness, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth.

۷ چه زیبا است بر کوهها پایهای مبشر که سلامتی را ندا می‌کند و به خیرات بشارت می‌دهدو نجات را ندا می‌کند و به صهیون می‌گوید که خدای تو سلطنت می‌نماید.

8 The voice of thy watchmen, —they raise their voice, together shall they shout; for eye to eye shall they see, when the Lord returneth unto Zion.

۸ آواز دیده بانان تواست که آواز خود را بلند کرده، با هم ترنم می‌نمایند زیرا وقتی که خداوند به صهیون رجعت می‌کند ایشان معاینه خواهند دید.

9 Break forth [in song], shout together, ye ruins of Jerusalem; the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

۹ ‌ای خرابه های اورشلیم به آواز بلند با هم ترنم نمایید، زیرا خداوند قوم خود را تسلی داده، و اورشلیم را فدیه نموده است.

10 The Lord hath made bare his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

۱۰ خداوند ساعد قدوس خود را در نظر تمامی امت‌ها بالا زده است وجمیع کرانه های زمین نجات خدای ما را دیده‌اند.

11 Depart ye, depart ye, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go ye out from the midst of it; cleanse yourselves, ye bearers of the vessels of the Lord.

۱۱ ‌ای شما که ظروف خداوند را برمی داریدبیکسو شوید بیکسو شوید و از اینجا بیرون رویدو چیز ناپاک را لمس منمایید و از میان آن بیرون رفته، خویشتن را طاهر سازید.

12 Not in haste shall ye go out, and not in flight shall ye go; for before you goeth the Lord, and your rereward is the God of Israel.

۱۲ زیرا که به تعجیل بیرون نخواهید رفت و گریزان روانه نخواهید شد، چونکه یهوه پیش روی شماخواهد خرامید و خدای اسرائیل ساقه شماخواهد بود.

13 Behold, my servant shall be prosperous, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be placed very high.

۱۳ اینک بنده من با عقل رفتار خواهد کرد وعالی و رفیع و بسیار بلند خواهد شد.

14 Just as many were astonished at thee, so greatly was his countenance marred more than any [other] man's, and his form more than [that of] the sons of men, —

۱۴ چنانکه بسیاری از تو در عجب بودند (از آن جهت که منظر او از مردمان و صورت او از بنی آدم بیشترتباه گردیده بود).

15 Thus will he cause many nations to jump up in [astonishment]; at him will kings shut their mouth; for what had not been told unto them shall they see, and what they had never heard shall they understand.

۱۵ همچنان بر امت های بسیارخواهد پاشید و به‌سبب او پادشاهان دهان خود را خواهند بست زیرا چیزهایی را که برای ایشان بیان نشده بود خواهند دید و آنچه را که نشنیده بودند خواهند فهمید.
