Isaiah 46
1 Bel is bowed down, Nebo sinketh, their idols are [delivered] unto the beasts, and unto the cattle; those which were once carried by you are now laden up a burden to the weary beasts.
बेल झुक्छ, नेबो निहुरिन्छ । तिनीहरूका मूर्तिहरूलाई जनावरहरू र भारी बोक्ने पशुहरूले बोक्छन् । तिमीहरूले बोक्ने यी मूर्तीहरू थकित पशुहरूका निम्ति गह्रौँ बारी हुन्छन् ।
2 They are sunk, they are bowed down together; they could not deliver the burden, but they themselves are gone into captivity.
तिनीहरू एकसाथ झुक्छन् र घुँडा टेक्छन् । तिनीहरूले मुर्तिहरूलाई छुटकारा दिन सक्दैनन् र तिनीहरू आफै कैदमा गएका छन् ।
3 Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who are borne [by me] from their birth, who are carried from the womb;
ए याकूबको घराना, मेरो कुरा सुन्, ए इस्राएलका सबै बाँकी रहेकाहरू, जसलाई मैले तिमीहरूका जन्म हुनअगिदेखि अर्थात् गर्भदेखि नै बोकेको छु ।
4 And even unto old age I am the same; and even unto the time of hoary hairs will I bear: l have done it, and I will carry [you]; even I will bear, and deliver you.
तिमीहरूका बुढेसकालमा पनि उही हुँ र तिमीहरूका कपाल फुल्ने बेलामा पनि म तिमीहरूलाई बोक्नेछु । मैले तँलाई बनाएँ र म नै तँलाई बोक्नेछु । म तँलाई बोक्नेछु र म तँलाई छुटकारा दिनेछु ।
5 To whom will ye liken and assimilate me, and compare me, that we may be like?
मलाई कोसँग तुलना गर्नेर्छस्? म कोजस्तो छु जस्तो लाग्छ ताकि हामीलाई तुलना गर्न सकियोस्?
6 [There are those] that lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance; that hire a melter, that he may make of it a god; they [then] bend the knee, yea, they bow themselves down;
मानिहरूले झोलाबाट सुन खन्याउँछन् र चाँदीलाई तराजुमा जोख्नेछन् । तिनीहरूले सुनारलाई ज्याला लिन्छन् र त्यसबाट उसले एउटा देवता बनाउँछ । तिनीहरू त्यसको सामु घोप्टो पर्छन् र त्यसको पुजा गर्छन् ।
7 They carry him, upon the shoulder they bear him, and set up him in his spot, and he remaineth standing, from his place he doth not move: yea, though one should cry unto him, he cannot answer, out of his trouble he cannot help him.
तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई आफ्नो काँधमा राख्छन् र त्यो बोक्छन् । तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई एक ठाउँमा राख्छन् र त्यो त्यहाँ खडा हुन्छ र त्यो हलचल गर्दैन । तिनीहरू त्यससँग पुकारा गर्छन्, तर त्यसले जवाफ दिन सक्दैन न कुनै व्यक्तिको कष्टबाट उसलाई छुटकारा दिन नै सक्छ ।
8 Remember this, and take courage: take it again to heart, O ye transgressors.
ए विद्रोहीहरू, यी कुराहरूका बारेमा विचार गर । तिनलाई कदापि बेवास्त नगर ।
9 Remember the former things of olden times; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is nothing like me.
पहिलेका कुराहरू अर्थात् विगतका समयहरूका बारेमा विचार गर, किनकि म परमेश्वर हुँ र त्यहाँ अरू कोही छैन । म परमेश्वर हुँ र मजस्तो अरू कोही छैन ।
10 Declaring from the beginning the end, and from the earliest days the things that have not yet been done, saying, My counsel shall stand firm, and all my pleasure will I do:
सुरुदेखि नै म अन्तको बारेमा, अनि अझसम्म नघटेको कुराका बारेमा पहिलेदेखि नै म भन्न सक्छु । म भन्छु, “मेरो योजना पुरा हुनेछ र मलाई जस्तो इच्छा लाग्छ त्यस्तै म गर्नेछु ।”
11 Calling from the east the eagle, from a far-off country the man of my counsel; yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also execute it.
शिकारी चरालाई म पुर्वबाट बोलाउँछु, मैले रोजेको मानिसलाई म टाढा देशबाट बोलाउँछु । हो, मैले बोलेको छु । मैले यसलाई पुरा पनि गर्नेर्छु । मैले उद्देश्य राखेको छु, म त्यो पुरा गर्नेछु ।
12 Hearken unto me, ye stout of heart, that are far from righteousness:
ए हठी मानिसहरू, मेरो कुरा सुन, जो ठिक कुरा गर्नबाट टाढै बस्छौ ।
13 I have brought near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will grant unto Zion salvation, unto Israel my glory.
म आफ्नो धार्मिकता नजिक ल्याउँदैछु । त्यो टाढा छैन, र मेरो उद्धारले पर्खंदैन । अनि सियोनलाई मेरो उद्धार र इस्राएललाई मेरो सुन्दरता म दिनेछु ।
