Isaiah 45
1 Thus hath said the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whom I have taken hold of by his right hand, to subdue nations before him, even the loins of kings will I ungird, to open before him [city-]doors, and gates that they shall not be shut;
Yahweh diz a seu ungido, a Cyrus, cuja mão direita segurei para subjugar nações diante dele e despojar reis de suas armaduras, para abrir as portas diante dele, e os portões não devem ser fechados:
2 I myself will go before thee, and proud eminences will I level: doors of brass will I break in pieces, and bolts of iron will I cut asunder.
“Eu irei antes de você e tornar os lugares ásperos mais suaves. Quebrarei as portas de bronze em pedaços e cortar as barras de ferro.
3 And I will give unto thee the treasures of darkness, and riches hidden in secret places; in order that thou mayest know that I am the Lord, who call thee by thy name, the God of Israel;
Eu lhe darei os tesouros das trevas e riquezas escondidas de lugares secretos, que você pode saber que sou eu, Yahweh, que o chamo pelo seu nome, até mesmo o Deus de Israel.
4 For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my elect; and I have called thee by thy name: I have designated thee, though thou hast not known me.
Para o bem de Jacob meu servo, e Israel, meu escolhido, Eu o chamei pelo seu nome. Eu lhe dei um título, embora você não me conheça.
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, beside me there is no god; I assisted thee, though thou hast not known me.
Eu sou Yahweh, e não há mais ninguém. Além de mim, não há Deus. Eu os fortalecerei, embora você não me conheça,
6 In order that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from its setting, that there is nothing without me. I am the Lord, and there is no one else;
que eles podem saber do nascer do sol, e do oeste, que não há ninguém além de mim. Eu sou Yahweh, e não há mais ninguém.
7 Forming the light, and creating darkness; making peace, and creating evil: I the Lord do all these things.
Eu formo a luz e criar escuridão. Eu faço a paz e criar uma calamidade. Eu sou Yahweh, que faz todas essas coisas.
8 Drop down ye heavens, and let the skies distil blessing; let the earth open and let them [all] be fruitful of prosperity, and let righteousness spring up likewise: I the Lord have created it.
Chuva, céus, vinda de cima, e deixar os céus derramar a justiça. Deixe a terra se abrir, para que ela possa produzir salvação, e deixar que ela faça surgir a retidão com ela. Eu, Yahweh, o criei.
9 Woe unto him that contendeth with the one who formed him—a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
Ai daquele que se esforça com seu Criador... um pote de barro entre os potes de barro da terra! O barro deve perguntar a ele quem o modela: “O que você está fazendo? ou seu trabalho, “Ele não tem mãos...
10 Woe unto him that saith unto [his] father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What bringest thou forth?
Ai daquele que diz a um pai: “De que você se tornou o pai de? ou a uma mãe, “O que você deu à luz?””
11 Thus hath said the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and he who hath formed him, About events to come will you ask me? concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands will ye command me?
Yahweh, o Santo de Israel e seu Criador diz: “Você me pergunta sobre as coisas que estão por vir, a respeito de meus filhos”, e vocês me comandam a respeito do trabalho de minhas mãos!
12 [When] I myself have made the earth, and created man upon it; [when] I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and I have ordained all their host.
Eu fiz a terra, e criei o homem sobre ela. Eu, até mesmo minhas mãos, estendi os céus. Eu comandei todo o exército deles.
13 I myself have waked him up in righteousness, and all his ways will I make straight: he shall build my city, and my exiles shall he dismiss free, not for purchase-money nor for presents, saith the Lord of hosts.
Eu o criei em retidão, e eu vou tornar todos os seus caminhos retos. Ele construirá minha cidade, e deixará meus exilados ir em liberdade, não pelo preço nem pela recompensa”, diz Yahweh dos exércitos.
14 Thus hath said the Lord, The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of high stature, shall pass over unto thee, and thine shall they be: behind thee shall they walk; in chains shall they pass along, and unto thee shall they bow, unto thee shall they pray, [saying] Yea, only among thee is God; and there is no one else beside God.
Yahweh diz: “O trabalho do Egito”, e a mercadoria da Etiópia, e os Sabeanos, homens de estatura, virão até você, e eles serão seus. Eles irão atrás de você. Eles devem vir acorrentados. Eles se curvarão diante de você. Eles farão súplicas a você: “Certamente Deus está em você; e não há mais ninguém”. Não há outro deus.
15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
Most certamente você é um Deus que se escondeu, Deus de Israel, o Salvador”.
16 They are ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: together shall they go to confusion that are makers of idols.
Eles ficarão desapontados, sim, confusos, todos eles. Aqueles que são criadores de ídolos entrarão em confusão juntos.
17 [But] Israel shall be helped by the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed and not be confounded unto all eternity.
Israel será salvo por Yahweh com uma salvação eterna. Você não ficará desapontado nem confundido com as idades eternas.
18 For thus hath said the Lord the creator of the heavens; he, the God that formed the earth and made it; he that hath established it, —not for naught did he create it, to be inhabited did he form it: I am the Lord; and there is no one else.
Para Yahweh, que criou os céus, o Deus que formou a terra e a fez, que a estabeleceram e não a criaram um desperdício, que a formou para ser habitada diz: “Eu sou Yahweh. Não há outro.
19 Not on a secret spot have I spoken, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me for naught; [but] I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Eu não tenho falado em segredo, em um lugar da terra das trevas. Eu não disse à descendência de Jacob: “Procure-me em vão”. Eu, Yahweh, falo a justiça. Declaro que as coisas estão certas.
20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye escaped fugitives of the nations! They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
“Reúnam-se e venham. Aproximem-se juntos, vocês que escaparam das nações. Aqueles que não têm conhecimento de quem carrega a madeira de sua imagem gravada, e rezar a um deus que não pode salvar.
21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: Who hath announced this in ancient times? told it from the beginning? is it not I the Lord? and there is no other god without me, a just god and a saviour; there is none beside me.
Declare e apresente-o. Sim, deixe-os se aconselharem juntos. Quem já mostrou isso desde a antiguidade? Quem o declarou como antigo? Não tenho, Yahweh? Não há outro Deus além de mim, um Deus justo e um Salvador. Não há ninguém além de mim.
22 Turn unto me, so that ye may be helped, all ye ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no one else.
“Olhe para mim, e seja salvo, todos os confins do mundo; pois eu sou Deus, e não há outro.
23 By myself have I sworn, righteousness is gone out of my mouth, a word [which] shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bend, every tongue shall swear.
Jurei por mim mesmo. A palavra saiu de minha boca em retidão e não será revogada, que para mim cada joelho deve se curvar, cada língua fará um juramento.
24 Only in the Lord, —shall men say of me, —there are righteousness and strength. Unto him shall come and be ashamed all that are incensed against him.
Eles dirão de mim, “Só há retidão e força em Yahweh”. Até mesmo a ele virão homens. Todos aqueles que se enfureceram contra ele ficarão decepcionados.
25 In the Lord shall be justified, and shall glory themselves all the seed of Israel.
Toda a descendência de Israel será justificada em Yahweh, e se regozijarão!
