Isaiah 43

1 But now thus hath said the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; mine art thou.

൧ഇപ്പോഴോ യാക്കോബേ, നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവനും, യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്നെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എനിക്കുള്ളവൻ തന്നെ.

2 Whenever thou passest through the waters, I am with thee; and through the rivers, —they shall not overflow thee: whenever thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be scorched; neither shall the flame burn on thee.

൨നീ വെള്ളത്തിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; നീ നദികളിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ നിന്റെമീതെ കവിയുകയില്ല; നീ തീയിൽകൂടി നടന്നാൽ വെന്തു പോവുകയില്ല; അഗ്നിജ്വാല നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുകയുമില്ല.

3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour; I have given Egypt for thy ransom, Cush and Seba in place of thee.

൩നിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനുമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാൻ നിന്റെ രക്ഷകൻ; നിന്റെ മറുവിലയായി ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റിനെയും നിനക്ക് പകരമായി കൂശിനെയും സെബയെയും കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

4 Since thou art precious in my eyes, art honorable, and I indeed do love thee: therefore will I give men in place of thee, and nations instead of thy soul.

൪നീ എനിക്ക് വിലയേറിയവനും മാന്യനും ആയി ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാൽ ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് പകരം മനുഷ്യരെയും നിന്റെ ജീവന് പകരം ജനതകളെയും കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

5 Fear not, for I am with thee; from the east will I bring thy seed, and from the west will I gather thee.

൫ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ട്; നിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ഞാൻ കിഴക്കുനിന്ന് വരുത്തുകയും പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്ന് നിന്നെ ശേഖരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Withhold not: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

൬ഞാൻ വടക്കിനോട്: ‘തരുക’ എന്നും തെക്കിനോട്: ‘തടുത്തുവയ്ക്കരുത്’ എന്നും കല്പിക്കും; ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് എന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്ന് എന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെയും

7 Every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory; whom I have formed; yea, whom I have made.

൭എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചും എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വത്തിനായി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു നിർമ്മിച്ചു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഏവരെയും കൊണ്ടുവരുക എന്നു ഞാൻ കല്പിക്കും”.

8 Bring forward the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

൮കണ്ണുണ്ടായിട്ടും കുരുടന്മാരായും ചെവിയുണ്ടായിട്ടും ചെകിടന്മാരായും ഇരിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ.

9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can announce this? and cause us to hear former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

൯സകലജനതകളും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടട്ടെ, വംശങ്ങൾ ചേർന്നുവരട്ടെ; അവരിൽ ആര് ഇതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുകയും, പണ്ടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതു കേൾപ്പിച്ചുതരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു? അവർ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന് സാക്ഷികളെ കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ; അവർ കേട്ടിട്ട് “സത്യം തന്നെ” എന്നു പറയട്ടെ.

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: in order that ye may know and believe me, and understand, that I am he; before me there was no god formed, and after me there will be none.

൧൦“നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞ് എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ സാക്ഷികളും ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ദാസനും ആകുന്നു” എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്: “എനിക്കുമുമ്പ് ഒരു ദൈവവും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല, എന്റെ ശേഷം ഉണ്ടാവുകയുമില്ല.

11 I, I am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.

൧൧ഞാൻ, ഞാൻ തന്നെ, യഹോവ; ഞാനല്ലാതെ ഒരു രക്ഷിതാവുമില്ല.

12 I myself have announced it, and I have saved, and I have let it be heard, and there was no strange [god] among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and I am God.

൧൨നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു അന്യദേവനല്ല, ഞാൻ തന്നെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുകയും രക്ഷിക്കുകയും കേൾപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തത്; അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ സാക്ഷികൾ” എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “ഞാൻ ദൈവം തന്നെ.

13 Yea, from the [first] day am I he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: if I will work, is there one that can hinder it?

൧൩ഇന്നും ഞാൻ അനന്യൻ തന്നെ; എന്റെ കൈയിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവൻ ആരുമില്ല; ഞാൻ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; ആര് അത് തടുക്കും?”

14 Thus hath said the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, For your sake did I send to Babylon, and in swift vessels brought I them all down, and the Chaldeans, in the ships of their joyful song.

൧൪നിങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ ബാബേലിലേക്ക് ആളയച്ച്, അവരെ എല്ലാവരെയും, കൽദയരെ തന്നെ, ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നവരായി അവർ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിച്ചിരുന്ന കപ്പലുകളിൽ താഴോട്ട് ഓടുമാറാക്കും.

15 I am the Lord, the Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

൧൫ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പരിശുദ്ധനായ യഹോവയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവും നിങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവും ആകുന്നു”.

16 Thus hath said the Lord, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

൧൬സമുദ്രത്തിൽ വഴിയും പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽ പാതയും ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും

17 Who bringeth forth chariot and horse, army and power: together shall they lie down, they shall not rise up again; they are extinct, like a wick are they quenched.

൧൭രഥം, കുതിര, സൈന്യം, ബലം എന്നിവയെ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “അവർ ഒരുപോലെ കിടക്കുന്നു, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുകയില്ല; അവർ കെട്ടുപോകുന്നു; വിളക്കുതിരിപോലെ കെട്ടുപോകുന്നു.

18 Remember not the former things, and ancient events regard no more.

൧൮മുമ്പുള്ളവയെ നിങ്ങൾ ഓർക്കണ്ടാ; പണ്ടുള്ളവയെ നിരൂപിക്കുകയും വേണ്ടാ.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; will ye not acknowledge it? I will even make in the wilderness a way, and in the desert rivers.

൧൯ഇതാ, ഞാൻ പുതിയതൊന്നു ചെയ്യുന്നു; അത് ഇപ്പോൾ ഉത്ഭവിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ അത് അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? അതേ, ഞാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഒരു വഴിയും നിർജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു നദികളും ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

20 The beasts of the field shall honor me, the monsters and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my elect;

൨൦ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തിനു കുടിക്കുവാൻ കൊടുക്കണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളവും നിർജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു നദികളും നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളും കുറുക്കന്മാരും ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികളും എന്നെ ബഹുമാനിക്കും.

21 This people which I have formed for myself; my praise shall they relate.

൨൧ഞാൻ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജനം എന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ വിവരിക്കും.

22 But on me hast thou not called, O Jacob; for thou art become weary of me, O Israel.

൨൨എന്നാൽ യാക്കോബേ, നീ എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ എന്റെ നിമിത്തം അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല.

23 Thou hast not brought unto me the lamb of thy burnt-offerings; and with thy sacrifices hast thou not honored me: I have not troubled thee with meat-offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.

൨൩നിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളെ നീ എനിക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടില്ല; നിന്റെ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളാൽ നീ എന്നെ ബഹുമാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങളാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭാരപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല; ധൂപനംകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ബദ്ധപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുമില്ല.

24 Thou hast not bought for me sweet cane, and with the fat of thy sacrifices hast thou not satisfied me; but thou hast troubled me with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.

൨൪നീ എനിക്കായി വയമ്പു വാങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല; നിന്റെ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ മേദസ്സുകൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് തൃപ്തിവരുത്തിയിട്ടുമില്ല; നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു നീ എന്നെ ഭാരപ്പെടുത്തുകയും നിന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് എന്നെ മടുപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

25 I, it is I that blot out thy transgressions for my own sake, and thy sins I will not remember.

൨൫എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ, ഞാൻ തന്നെ, നിന്റെ അതിക്രമങ്ങളെ മായിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുകയുമില്ല.

26 Put me in remembrance; let us plead together: relate thou, in order that thou mayest be justified.

൨൬എന്നെ ഓർമിപ്പിക്കുക; നാം തമ്മിൽ വ്യവഹരിക്കുക; നീ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന് വാദിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക.

27 Thy first father did sin, and they that plead for thee transgressed against me.

൨൭നിന്റെ ആദ്യപിതാവ് പാപംചെയ്തു; നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥന്മാർ എന്നോട് ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു.

28 Therefore do I profane the holy princes, and I give up Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.

൨൮അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ മലിനമാക്കി, യാക്കോബിനെ ഉന്മൂലനാശത്തിനും, യിസ്രായേലിനെ നിന്ദയ്ക്കും ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു”.
