< Isaiah 4 >

1 And seven women shall take hold of one man on that day, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take but away our reproach.
Siku hiyo wanawake saba watamchukua mwanaume mmoja na kusema, ''Tutakula chakula chetu wenyewe, tutavaa nguo zetu wenyewe. lakini tunahitaji kuchukua jina lako ili tuondoe haibu zetu.''
2 On that day shall the sprout of the Lord be for ornament and for honor, and the fruit of the land for excellence and for glory for the escaped of Israel.
Na siku hiyo tawi zuri la Yahwe na utukufu, na matunda yatakuwa na ladha nzuri na kupendeza kwa wale wanaoishi Israeli.
3 And it shall come to pass, that whoever is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, every one that is written down unto life in Jerusalem:
Itatokea kwa yule aliyeachwa Sayuni na wale waliobakia Yerusalemu wataitwa watakatifu, yeyeto aliyeandikwa chini anaishi Yerusalemu.
4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have scoured away the blood-guiltiness of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of destruction.
Hii itatokea pale ambapo Bwana atasafisha uchafu wa mabinti wa Sayuni, na atasafisha madoa ya damu kutoka kati ya Yerusalemu, kwa namna ya roho ya hukumu na roho ya kuungua na moto.
5 And then will the Lord create upon every dwelling of mount Zion, and upon her places of assembly, a cloud and smoke by day, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a covering.
Tena juu ya mlima wote wa Sayuni na mahali pakuksanyikia, Yahwe atafanya wingu na moshi kwa wakati wa mchana na moto unaong'a wakati wa usiku; na itakuwa dari juu ya utukufu wote.
6 And a tabernacle shall it be for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a covert from tempest and from rain.
kutakuwa na kivuli kwenye makazi wakati mchana kuzuia jua, na kimbilio na mfuniko kutoka kwenye mawimbi na mvua.
