Isaiah 20

1 In the year that Tharthan came unto Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him, and fought against Ashdod, and captured it;

Sannaddii Sargoon oo ahaa boqorkii Ashuur uu Tartaan Ashdood u diray, oo uu tegey, oo la diriray oo qabsaday Ashdood,

2 At the same time spoke the Lord by means of Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loosen the sackcloth from off thy loins, and thy shoe shalt thou pull off from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

ayaa Rabbigu Ishacyaah ina Aamoos la hadlay oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Tag, oo dharka joonyadda ah dhexdaada ka fur, oo kabahaagana iska siib. Oo isna saasuu yeelay, oo wuxuu socday isagoo qaawan oo caga cad.

3 And the Lord said, Just as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years as a sign and token for Egypt and for Cush:

Markaasaa Rabbigu wuxuu yidhi, Sidii addoonkaygii Ishacyaah saddex sannadood qaawanaan iyo cago caddaan uu ugu socday inuu calaamad iyo yaab Masar iyo Itoobiyaba u ahaado

4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the prisoners of Egypt, and the exiles of Cush, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with uncovered buttocks, to the disgrace of Egypt.

ayaa boqorka Ashuur kaxaysan doonaa maxaabiista Masar iyo masaafurisyada Itoobiya, yar iyo weynba, iyagoo qaaqaawan oo wada cagacad, oo badhidoodu muuqato, si uu Masriyiinta u ceebeeyo aawadeed.

5 And they shall be terrified, and ashamed of Cush their trust, and of Egypt their vaunt.

Markaasaa la nixi doonaa oo la ceeboobi doonaa Itoobiya oo rajadoodii ahayd aawadeed iyo Masar oo sharaftoodii ahayd aawadeed.

6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say on that day, Behold, such is our trust, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we then escape?

Oo kuwa xeebta degganu waxay wakhtigaas odhan doonaan, Bal eega wixii ku dhacay kuwii aan isku hallaynaynay oo aan caawimaad ugu cararaynay inay boqorka Ashuur naga samatabbixiyaan Oo bal annagu sidee baannu u baxsanaynaa?
