Isaiah 19

1 The doom of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and is coming to Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved because of his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in its inward parts.

Ang pahayag mahitungod sa Ehipto. Tan-awa, nagsakay si Yahweh sa paspas nga panganod padulong sa Ehipto. Nangurog sa iyang atubangan ang mga diosdios sa Ehipto, ug natunaw ang mga kasingkasing sa mga Ehiptohanon.

2 And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his fellow; city against city, kingdom against kingdom.

“Ipag-unay ko ang mga Ehiptohanon batok sa mga Ehiptohanon, ug makig-away ang tawo batok sa iyang igsoong lalaki, ang tawo batok sa iyang silingan; siyudad batok siyudad, ug gingharian batok gingharian.

3 And the spirit of Egypt shall be emptied out in its inward parts, and its counsel will I frustrate; and they will inquire of the idols, and of the charmers, and of those that have familiar spirits, and of the wizards.

Mangaluya ang espiritu sa mga Ehiptohanon gikan sa sulod. Gub-on ko ang iyang tambag, bisan nangita sila sa tambag sa mga diosdios, mga espiritu sa patay nga mga tawo, mga orasyon, ug mga espiritista.

4 And I will surrender the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord; and a rigorous king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Eternal of hosts.

Itugyan ko ang mga Ehiptohanon ngadto sa kamot sa mabangis nga agalon, ug modumala ang kusgan nga hari ngadto kanila—mao kini ang gipahayag sa Ginoo nga si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom.

5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

Mahubas ang katubigan sa dagat, ug mahubas ang suba ug mauga.

6 And the rivers shall become foul; and shallow and dried up shall become the deep streams: reeds and flags shall wither.

Mobaho ang kasubaan; momabaw ug momabaw ang kasapaan sa Ehipto; mangalaya ang kabugangan ug katigbawan.

7 The well-rooted plants by the stream, by the mouth of the stream, and every thing sown by the stream, shall dry up, be scattered [by the wind, ] and be no more.

Mangalaya ang kabugangan sa Nilo, sa tinubdan sa Nilo, ug ang tanang tinamnan nga kaumahan sa Nilo, mahimong abog, ug pagapaliron.

8 The fishermen also shall lament, and all they that cast an angle into the stream shall mourn; and they that spread nets upon the face of the waters shall languish.

Magtuaw ug magbangotan ang mga mangingisda, ug magbangotan ang tanan nga namingwit ngadto sa Nilo, ug magsubo kadtong nagtaktak ug mga pukot didto sa katubigan.

9 And ashamed shall be they that work in fine flax, and they that weave white cloth.

Mangluspad ang tigtrabaho sa gisudlay nga lanot ug kadtong naghimo ug puti nga panapton.

10 And its foundations shall be beaten down, all that build sluices shall be grieved in soul.

Malaglag ang tigtrabaho ug panapton sa Ehipto; magsubo ang tanan nga sinuholan sa pagtrabaho.

11 Surely fools are the princes of Zo'an! the wise of the counsellors of Pharaoh [impart] silly counsel: how can ye say unto Pharaoh, I am a son of the wise, a son of the ancient kings?

Buangbuang gayod ang mga prinsipe sa Zoan. Nahimong walay pulos ang tambag sa labing maalamon nga mga magtatambag sa Paraon. Unsaon man ninyo pag-ingon ngadto sa Paraon, “Ako ang anak nga lalaki sa maalamon nga mga tawo, ang anak nga lalaki sa karaan nga mga hari?”

12 Where are they, these, thy wise men? that they may tell thee now, that they know what the Lord of hosts hath resolved on over Egypt.

Unya asa naman ang imong maalamong kalalakin-an? Tugoti sila nga mosulti kanimo ug ipaila kung unsa ang mga laraw ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom mahitungod sa Ehipto.

13 The princes of Zo'an are become fools, deceived are the princes of Noph; and Egypt is led astray by the chiefs of its tribes.

Nahimo gayod nga buangbuang ang mga prinsipe sa Zoan, malimbongon ang mga prinsipe sa Memfis; gipahisalaag nila ang Ehipto, nga mao ang bato nga patukoranan sa iyang katribohan.

14 The Lord hath poured out in the midst thereof a spirit of perverseness: and they have led Egypt astray in all its work, as a drunkard reeleth astray in his vomit.

Gisagol ni Yahweh ang espiritu sa kalibog diha sa iyang taliwala, ug gipahisalaag nila ang Ehipto sa tanan nga iyang nabuhat, sama sa hubog nga nagsusapinday sa iyang suka.

15 And there shall not be for Egypt [successful] work, which the head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do.

Wala gayoy mabuhat si bisan kinsa alang sa Ehipto, bisan ang ulo o ikog, palwa sa palmira o bugang.

16 On that day shall Egypt be like the women: and it shall tremble and be in dread because of the waving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which he waveth over it.

Nianang adlawa, mahisama sa mga babaye ang mga Ehiptohanon. Mangurog ug mahadlok sila tungod sa giisa nga kamot ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom ibabaw kanila.

17 And the land of Judah shall become unto Egypt a terror, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be in dread, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath resolved against it.

Mahimong hinungdan ang yuta sa Juda sa pagsapinday sa Ehipto. Sa dihang pahinumdoman sila sa usa ka tawo mahitungod kanila, mangahadlok gayod sila, tungod sa laraw ni Yaweh, nga iyang gilaraw batok kanila.

18 On that day shall be five cities in the land of Egypt speaking the language of Canaan, and swearing by the Lord of hosts; “The city of destruction” shall one be called.

Nianang adlawa adunay lima ka mga siyudad diha sa yuta sa Ehipto nga mosulti ug sinultihan sa Canaan ug manumpa sa pagpakig-abin kang Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom. Pagatawgon ang usa niini nga mga siyudad nga Ang Siyudad sa Adlaw.

19 On that day shall there be all altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at its border to the Lord.

Nianang adlawa adunay halaran alang kang Yahweh diha sa taliwala sa yuta sa Ehipto, ang haligi nga bato diha sa utlanan ngadto kang Yahweh.

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a testimony unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he will send them a helper, and a chief, and he shall deliver them.

Mahimo kini nga timailhan ug saksi ngadto kang Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom diha sa yuta sa Ehipto. Sa dihang mohilak sila ngadto kang Yahweh tungod sa mga tigdaugdaog, padad-an niya sila ug manluluwas ug tigpanalipod, ug luwason niya sila.

21 And the Lord will be made known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord on that day, and will do service [with] sacrifice and oblation; yea, they will make vows unto the Lord and perform [them].

Mahimong inila si Yahweh ngadto sa Ehipto, ug pagailhon si Yahweh sa mga Ehiptohanon nianang adlawa. Magsimba sila uban ang mga halad, ug maghimo ug mga panumpa ngadto kang Yahweh ug tumanon kini.

22 And the Lord will thus strike Egypt, striking and healing it: and they will return unto the Lord, and he will be entreated of them, and heal them.

Sakiton ni Yahweh ang Ehipto, sakiton ug ayohon. Mobalik sila ngadto kang Yahweh; paminawon niya ang ilang pag-ampo ug ayohon sila.

23 On that day there shall be a highway out of Egypt to Asshur, and Asshur shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptians into Asshur, and the Egyptians shall serve with Asshur [the Lord].

Nianang adlawa aduna unyay dalan gikan sa Ehipto paingon sa Asiria, ug moadto ang mga taga-Asiria ngadto sa Ehipto, ug ang Ehiptohanon ngadto sa Asiria; ug magsimba ang mga Ehiptohanon kauban ang mga taga-Asiria.

24 On that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Asshur, a blessing in the midst of the earth.

Nianang adlawa, mahimong ikatulo ang Israel uban sa Ehipto ug Asiria, usa ka panalangin taliwala sa kalibotan;

25 Whom the Lord of hosts will have blessed, saying, Blessed be my people Egypt, and Asshur the work of my hands, and my heritage Israel.

panalanginan sila ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom ug moingon, “Bulahan gayod ang Ehipto, nga akong katawhan; ang Asiria nga mao buhat sa akong mga kamot; ug ang Israel nga akong panulondon.”
