< Isaiah 12 >

1 And thou shalt say on that day, “I will thank thee, O Lord, that thou wast angry with me: thy anger [now] is turned away, and thou comfortest me.
Ngalolosuku wena uzakuthi: “Ngizakubonga Oh Thixo. Lanxa wawungithukuthelele ulaka lwakho seluphelile, njalo usungiduduzile.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust him; for my strength and song is Yah the Eternal: and he is become my salvation.”
Ngeqiniso uNkulunkulu uyinsindiso yami; ngizathemba ngingesabi. UThixo, uThixo ngokwakhe ungamandla lengoma yami; usebe yinsindiso yami.”
3 And ye shall draw water with gladness out of the springs of salvation.
Ngentokozo uzakukha amanzi emithonjeni yensindiso.
4 And ye shall say on that day, “Give thanks unto the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the people, keep it in remembrance that exalted is his name.
Ngalolosuku uzakuthi: “Mbongeni uThixo, bizani ibizo lakhe, zaziseni izizwe ngalokhu akwenzileyo, limemezele ukuthi ibizo lakhe liphakeme.
5 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath wrought a stupendous thing: known is this on all the earth.”
Hlabelelani kuThixo, ngoba wenze izinto ezinhle kakhulu; lokhu kwenzeni kwazakale emhlabeni wonke.
6 Call aloud and shout, inhabitress of Zion; for great is in the midst of thee the Holy One of Israel.
Memezani kakhulu lihlabele ngokuthokoza, bantu baseZiyoni, ngoba mkhulu oNgcwele ka-Israyeli phakathi kwenu.”
