Isaiah 12

1 And thou shalt say on that day, “I will thank thee, O Lord, that thou wast angry with me: thy anger [now] is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

An jenem Tage aber wirst du beten: »Ich danke dir, HERR! Denn bist du auch erzürnt gegen mich gewesen, so hat dein Zorn sich doch wieder gelegt, und du hast mich wieder getröstet.

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust him; for my strength and song is Yah the Eternal: and he is become my salvation.”

Fürwahr, Gott ist mein Heil: ich bin voller Zuversicht und fürchte mich nicht! Denn Gott, der HERR, ist meine Stärke und mein Lobgesang, und er ist mir ein Retter geworden!«

3 And ye shall draw water with gladness out of the springs of salvation.

Und ihr werdet mit Jubel Wasser aus den Quellen des Heils schöpfen

4 And ye shall say on that day, “Give thanks unto the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the people, keep it in remembrance that exalted is his name.

und an jenem Tage sprechen: »Danket dem HERRN, ruft seinen Namen aus, macht unter den Völkern seine Großtaten bekannt, rühmet, daß sein Name erhaben ist!

5 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath wrought a stupendous thing: known is this on all the earth.”

Lobsinget dem HERRN, denn Herrliches hat er vollbracht: das muß auf der ganzen Erde kund werden!

6 Call aloud and shout, inhabitress of Zion; for great is in the midst of thee the Holy One of Israel.

Jauchzet und jubelt, ihr Bewohner Zions, denn groß ist in eurer Mitte der Heilige Israels!«
