< Isaiah 12 >

1 And thou shalt say on that day, “I will thank thee, O Lord, that thou wast angry with me: thy anger [now] is turned away, and thou comfortest me.
På hin Dag skal du sige: Jeg takker dig, HERRE, thi du vrededes på mig; men din Vrede svandt, og du trøstede mig.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust him; for my strength and song is Yah the Eternal: and he is become my salvation.”
Se, Gud er min Frelse, jeg er trøstig og uden Frygt; thi HERREN er min Styrke og min Lovsang, og han blev mig til Frelse.
3 And ye shall draw water with gladness out of the springs of salvation.
I skal øse Vand med Glæde af Frelsens Kilder
4 And ye shall say on that day, “Give thanks unto the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the people, keep it in remembrance that exalted is his name.
og sige på hin Dag: Tak HERREN, påkald hans Navn, gør hans Gerninger kendt blandt Folkene, kundgør, at hans Navn er højt!
5 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath wrought a stupendous thing: known is this on all the earth.”
Lovsyng HERREN, thi stort har han øvet, lad det blive kendt på den vide Jord!
6 Call aloud and shout, inhabitress of Zion; for great is in the midst of thee the Holy One of Israel.
Bryd ud i Fryderåb, Zions Beboere, thi stor i eders Midte er Israels Hellige!
