Isaiah 11
1 And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stem of Jesse, and a sprout shall spring out of his roots.
ヱツサイの株より一つの芽いで その根より一つの枝はえて實をむすばん
2 And there shall rest upon him the spirit of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
その上にヱホバの靈とどまらん これ智慧聰明の靈 謀略才能の靈 知識の靈 ヱホバをおそるるの靈なり
3 And he shall be animated by the fear of the Lord; and not after the sight of his eyes shall he judge, and not after the hearing of his ears shall he decide;
かれはヱホバを畏るるをもて歡樂とし また目みるところによりて審判をなさず 耳きくところによりて斷定をなさず
4 But he shall judge with righteousness the poor, and decide with equity for the suffering ones of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
正義をもて貧しき者をさばき 公平をもて國のうちの卑しき者のために斷定をなし その口の杖をもて國をうちその口唇の氣息をもて惡人をころすべし
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his hips.
正義はその腰の帶となり 忠信はその身のおびとならん
6 And the wolf shall dwell with the sheep, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling [shall be] together, and a little boy shall lead them.
おほかみは小羊とともにやどり 豹は小山羊とともにふし 犢 をじし 肥たる家畜ともに居てちひさき童子にみちびかれ
7 And the cow and the she-bear shall feed, together shall their young ones lie down: and the lion shall like the ox eat straw.
牝牛と熊とはくひものを同にし 熊の子と牛の子とともにふし 獅はうしのごとく藁をくらひ
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and on the basilisk's den shall the weaned child stretch out his hand.
乳兒は毒蛇のほらにたはふれ 乳ばなれの兒は手をまむしの穴にいれん
9 They shall not do hurt nor destroy on all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
斯てわが聖山のいづこにても害ふことなく傷ることなからん そは水の海をおほへるごとくヱホバをしるの知識地にみつべければなり
10 And it shall happen on that day, that [he of] the root of Jesse, who shall stand as an ensign of the people, to him shall nations [come to] inquire: and his resting-place shall be glorious.
その日ヱツサイの根たちてもろもろの民の旂となり もろもろの邦人はこれに服ひきたり榮光はそのとどまる所にあらん
11 And it shall happen on that day, that the Lord will put forth his hand again the second time to acquire the remnant of his people, which shall remain, from Asshur and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from 'Elam, and from Shin'ar, and from Chamath, and from the islands of the sea.
その日主はまたふたたび手をのべてその民ののこれる僅かのものをアツスリヤ、エジプト、パテロス、エテオピア、エラム、シナル、ハマテおよび海のしまじまより贖ひたまふべし
12 And he will lift up an ensign unto the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel; and the dispersed of Judah will he collect together from the four corners of the earth.
ヱホバは國々の爲に旂をたててイスラエルの逐やられたる者をあつめ地の四極よりユダの散失たるものを集へたまはん
13 And then shall depart the envy of Ephraim, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not assail Ephraim.
またエフライムの猜はうせ ユダを惱ますものは斷れ エフライムはユダをそねまず ユダはエフライムを惱ますことなかるべし
14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; together shall they spoil the children of the east: upon Edom and Moab shall they lay their hands; and the children of 'Ammon shall obey them.
かれらは西なるペリシテ人の境にとびゆき相共にひがしの子輩をかすめ その手をエドムおよびモアブにのべアンモンの子孫をおのれに服はしめん
15 And the Lord will destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and swing his hand over the river with his mighty wind, and will smite it into seven streams, and render it passable with shoes.
ヱホバ、エジプトの海汊をからし河のうへに手をふりて熱風をふかせ その河をうちて七の小流となし 履をはきて渉らしめたまはん
16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall remain from Asshur, like as it was to Israel on the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.
斯てその民ののこれる僅かのものの爲にアツスリヤより來るべき一つの大路あり 昔しイスラエルがエジプトの地よりいでし時のごとくなるべし
