Hosea 5
1 Hear this, O ye priests; and listen well, O ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for the punishment threateneth you; because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread out upon Thabor.
௧ஆசாரியர்களே, இதைக் கேளுங்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களே, கவனியுங்கள்; ராஜாவின் வீட்டாரே, செவிகொடுங்கள்; இந்த நியாயவிசாரிப்பு உங்கள்மேல் செல்லும்; நீங்கள் மிஸ்பாவில் கண்ணியும் தாபோரின்மேல் விரிக்கப்பட்ட வலையுமானீர்கள்.
2 And for murdering they who had rebelled [against God] concealed themselves in deep places; but I will inflict correction on them all.
௨நெறிதவறினவர்கள் அதிகமாக வதைசெய்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் நான் தண்டிப்பேன்.
3 I well know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, O Ephraim, hast thou played the harlot, [and] Israel is defiled.
௩எப்பிராயீமை நான் அறிவேன், இஸ்ரவேல் எனக்கு மறைவானதல்ல; எப்பிராயீமே, இப்போது நீ வழிவிலகிப்போனாயே, இஸ்ரவேல் தீட்டுப்பட்டதே.
4 Their doings will not permit them to return unto their God; for the spirit of lewdness is in their bosom, and the Lord they have not known.
௪அவர்கள் தங்கள் தேவனிடத்திற்குத் திரும்புவதற்குத் தங்கள் செயல்களை சரிசெய்யமாட்டார்கள், வேசித்தன ஆவி அவர்கள் உள்ளத்தில் இருக்கிறது; யெகோவாவை அறியார்கள்.
5 Therefore shall the pride of Israel be humbled before his face: and Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them.
௫இஸ்ரவேலின் அகந்தை அவர்களுடைய முகத்திற்கு முன்பாகச் சாட்சியிடுகிறது; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலும் எப்பிராயீமும் தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தினால் இடறி விழுவார்கள்; அவர்களோடே யூதாவும் இடறி விழுவான்.
6 With their flocks and with their herds will they go to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him: he hath withdrawn himself from them.
௬அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை தேடும்படி தங்கள் ஆடுகளோடும் தங்கள் மாடுகளோடும் போவார்கள்; அவரைக் காணமாட்டார்கள்; அவர் அவர்களை விட்டு விலகினார்.
7 Against the Lord have they dealt treacherously; for strange children have they begotten: now shall one month devour them together with their possessions.
௭யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாக துரோகம்செய்தார்கள்; அந்நியபிள்ளைகளைப் பெற்றார்கள்; இப்போதும் ஒரு மாதத்திற்குள்ளாக அவர்கள் தங்கள் பங்குகளோடே அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
8 Blow ye the cornet in Gib'ah, the trumpet in Ramah: blow the alarm at Beth-aven, [The enemy is] after thee, O Benjamin.
௮கிபியாவிலே எக்காளத்தையும், ராமாவிலே பூரிகையையும் ஊதுங்கள்; பெத்தாவேனிலே கதறுங்கள்; பென்யமீனே உன்னைப் பின்தொடருகிறார்கள்.
9 Ephraim shall be made desolate on the day of chastisement: among the tribes of Israel had I made known that which is true.
௯தண்டிப்பின் நாளிலே எப்பிராயீம் பாழாவான்; நிச்சயமாக வரப்போகிறதை இஸ்ரவேலின் கோத்திரங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவிக்கிறேன்.
10 The princes of Judah were like those that remove the landmark: my wrath, therefore, will I pour out upon them like water.
௧0யூதாவின் பிரபுக்கள் எல்லைகளை ஒதுக்குகிறவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பானார்கள்; அவர்கள்மேல் என் கடுங்கோபத்தைத் தண்ணீரைப்போல ஊற்றுவேன்.
11 Oppressed is Ephraim, broken through punishment; because he willingly walked after the commandment [of false prophets].
௧௧எப்பிராயீம் தகாத கற்பனையை மனதாரப் பின்பற்றிப்போனபடியால் அவன் ஒடுங்கி, நியாயவிசாரணையில் நொறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போகிறான்.
12 But like the moth became I unto Ephraim, and like rottenness to the house of Judah.
௧௨நான் எப்பிராயீமுக்குப் பூச்சி அரிப்பைப்போலவும், யூதாவின் வீட்டிற்கு உளுப்பைப்போலவும் இருப்பேன்.
13 Then saw Ephraim his sickness, and Judah his wound, and Ephraim went to Asshur, and [the other] sent to the king that should contend [[Jareb]]; but he will never be able to heal you, nor remove from you your wound.
௧௩எப்பிராயீம் தன் வியாதியையும், யூதா தன் காயத்தையும் கண்டபோது, எப்பிராயீம் அசீரியனிடம் போய் யாரேப் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் ஆள் அனுப்பினான்; ஆனாலும் உங்களைக் குணமாக்கவும் உங்களில் இருக்கிற காயத்தை ஆற்றவும் அவனால் முடியாமற்போனது.
14 For I am as a lion unto Ephraim, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I myself will tear in pieces and go away; I will bear away, and none shall deliver.
௧௪நான் எப்பிராயீமுக்குச் சிங்கம்போலவும், யூதாவின் வம்சத்தாருக்குப் பாலசிங்கம்போலவும் இருப்பேன்; நான் நானே காயப்படுத்திவிட்டுப் போய்விடுவேன்; தப்புவிப்பார் இல்லாமல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போவேன்.
15 I will go [from here, and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their guilt, and seek my presence: in their affliction will they seek for me.
௧௫அவர்கள் தங்கள் குற்றங்களை உணர்ந்து, என் முகத்தைத் தேடும்வரை நான் என் இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போய்விடுவேன்; தங்கள் ஆபத்தில் என்னைக் கருத்தாகத் தேடுவார்கள்.
