Hosea 5
1 Hear this, O ye priests; and listen well, O ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for the punishment threateneth you; because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread out upon Thabor.
Wadaaddadow, tan maqla, oo dadka Israa'iilow, dhegaysta, oo reerka boqorkow, dhegta u dhiga, waayo, xukun baa idinku dhacaya, maxaa yeelay, waxaad ahaydeen dabin Misfaah ku yaal, iyo shabag Buur Taaboor ku kala fidsan.
2 And for murdering they who had rebelled [against God] concealed themselves in deep places; but I will inflict correction on them all.
Oo caasiyiintii aad iyo aad bay layntii ugu dheeraadeen, aniguse kan dhammaantood canaanta baan ahay.
3 I well know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, O Ephraim, hast thou played the harlot, [and] Israel is defiled.
Anigu waan aqaan reer Efrayim, dadka Israa'iilna igama qarsoona, waayo, haatan reer Efrayimow, waad sinaysateen, dadka Israa'iilna way nijaasoobeen.
4 Their doings will not permit them to return unto their God; for the spirit of lewdness is in their bosom, and the Lord they have not known.
Falimahoodu u oggolaan maayaan inay Ilaahoodii ku soo noqdaan, waayo, damaca sinadu waa ku dhex jiraa, oo Rabbiga ma ay yaqaaniin.
5 Therefore shall the pride of Israel be humbled before his face: and Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them.
Waxaa dadka Israa'iil ku marag fura kibirkooda, haddaba dadka Israa'iil iyo reer Efrayimba waxay ku turunturoon doonaan xumaantooda, dadka Yahuudahna way la turunturoon doonaan iyaga.
6 With their flocks and with their herds will they go to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him: he hath withdrawn himself from them.
Waxay kaxayn doonaan adhyahooda iyo ishkinkooda iyagoo Rabbiga doondoonaya, laakiinse isaga ma ay heli doonaan, waayo, wuu ka noqday iyaga.
7 Against the Lord have they dealt treacherously; for strange children have they begotten: now shall one month devour them together with their possessions.
Rabbiga khiyaano ayay kula macaamiloodeen, waayo, waxay dhaleen carruur garacyo ah, haddaba bil baa lagu baabbi'in doonaa iyaga iyo waxoodaba.
8 Blow ye the cornet in Gib'ah, the trumpet in Ramah: blow the alarm at Beth-aven, [The enemy is] after thee, O Benjamin.
War buunka Gibecaah ka afuufa, turumbadana Raamaah, oo Beytaawen ka dhawaaqa. Reer Benyaamiinow, waa laydin daba socdaa.
9 Ephraim shall be made desolate on the day of chastisement: among the tribes of Israel had I made known that which is true.
Dalka reer Efrayim wuxuu ahaan doonaa meel cidlo ah maalinta canaanta. Waxaan qabiilooyinka reer binu Israa'iil dhexdooda ka ogeysiiyey waxa xaqiiqa ahaan u dhici doona.
10 The princes of Judah were like those that remove the landmark: my wrath, therefore, will I pour out upon them like water.
Amiirrada dalka Yahuudah waxay la mid yihiin kuwa durkiya calaamada soohdinta. Cadhadayda ayaan ugu dul shubi doonaa sida biyaha oo kale.
11 Oppressed is Ephraim, broken through punishment; because he willingly walked after the commandment [of false prophets].
Reer Efrayim waa la dulmay, oo xukun baa lagu burburiyey, waayo, raalli bay ku ahaayeen inay amarka daba socdaan.
12 But like the moth became I unto Ephraim, and like rottenness to the house of Judah.
Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed reer Efrayim waxaan u ahay sida balanbaallista oo kale, oo dadka Yahuudahna waxaan u ahay sida waxa qudhmay oo kale.
13 Then saw Ephraim his sickness, and Judah his wound, and Ephraim went to Asshur, and [the other] sent to the king that should contend [[Jareb]]; but he will never be able to heal you, nor remove from you your wound.
Reer Efrayim markuu arkay cudurkiisa, oo dadka Yahuudahna ay dhaawacooda arkeen, markaasaa reer Efrayim wuxuu tegey dalka Ashuur, oo wuxuu u cid dirsaday Boqor Yaareeb. Laakiinse isagu ma awoodo inuu ku bogsiiyo, oo dhaawacaaga kaa dawayn maayo.
14 For I am as a lion unto Ephraim, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I myself will tear in pieces and go away; I will bear away, and none shall deliver.
Waayo, waxaan reer Efrayim ku noqon doonaa sidii aar libaax oo kale, oo dadka Yahuudahna waxaan ku noqon doonaa sidii aaran libaax oo kale. Anigu qudhayda ayaa jeexjeexan doona oo bixi doona, waan la tegi doonaa, oo mid iga samatabbixiyaana ma jiri doono.
15 I will go [from here, and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their guilt, and seek my presence: in their affliction will they seek for me.
Anigu waan tegi doonaa oo waxaan ku noqon doonaa meeshaydii, jeeray iyagu xumaantooda qirtaan oo ay i doondoonaan. Iyagoo cidhiidhi ku dhex jira ayay aad ii doondooni doonaan.
