Hosea 4
1 Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel; for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land; because there is no truth, nor kindness, nor knowledge of God in the land.
၁ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏မိန့်တော်မူချက်ကိုနားထောင်ကြလော့။ ဤ တိုင်းပြည်တွင်နေထိုင်သူတို့အားထာဝရ ဘုရားစွပ်စွဲတော်မူချက်ရှိပေ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် က``ဤတိုင်းပြည်တွင်သစ္စာတရားမေတ္တာ တရားဟူ၍မရှိ။ ငါသည်ဘုရားဖြစ်သည် ဟုပြည်သူတို့ကအသိအမှတ်မပြုကြ။-
2 There is false swearing, and lying, and murdering, and stealing, and committing adultery: they break the bounds, and blood toucheth on blood.
၂သူတို့သည်ကတိမတည်ခြင်း၊ မုသား စကားကိုပြောခြင်း၊ လူ့အသက်ကိုသတ် ခြင်း၊ သူတစ်ပါးဥစ္စာပစ္စည်းကိုခိုးယူခြင်း၊ သူတစ်ပါးသားမယားကိုပြစ်မှားခြင်း တို့ကိုပြု၏။ တရားလက်လွတ်နေထိုင်၍ လူသတ်မှုများကိုအထပ်ထပ်ကူးလွန် ကြ၏။-
3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of the heaven; yea, also the fishes of the sea shall perish.
၃သို့ဖြစ်၍ဤပြည်သည်ခြောက်သွေ့လျက် သက်ရှိသတ္တဝါအပေါင်းတို့သည်သေကြေ ပျက်စီးကြလိမ့်မည်။ တိရစ္ဆာန်များ၊ ငှက်များ နှင့်ပင်လယ်ထဲရှိငါးများပင်သေကြေ ပျက်စီးကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
4 Yet let no man strive, let no man reprove another: and thy people are contentious equally with the priest.
၄ထာဝရဘုရားက``မည်သူမျှပြည်သား တို့အားမစွပ်စွဲမဆုံးမစေနှင့်၊ ငါ၌ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်တို့အားစွပ်စွဲရန်အချက်ရှိသည်။-
5 Therefore shalt thou stumble in the daytime, and the prophet also shall stumble with thee in the night; and I will destroy thy mother.
၅သင်တို့သည်နေ့ရောညပါချွတ်ချော်လွဲ မှားကြ၏။ ပရောဖက်တို့သည်လည်းထို နည်းဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ငါသည်သင်တို့၏မိခင် ဖြစ်သောဣသရေလနိုင်ငံကိုဖျက်ဆီး မည်။-
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, so will I also reject thee, that thou shalt not be a priest to me; and as thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, so will I myself also forget thy children.
၆ငါ၏လူမျိုးတို့သည်ငါ့ကိုအသိအမှတ် မပြုသောကြောင့် အပြစ်ဒဏ်စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံရကြ၏။ အသင်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့သည် ငါ့ကိုအသိအမှတ်မပြုဘဲ ငါ၏သြဝါဒ ကိုလည်းလက်မခံကြသောကြောင့် ငါသည် သင်တို့ကိုပစ်ပယ်ပြီ။ သင်တို့၏သားများ ကိုလည်းငါ၏ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များအဖြစ် အသိအမှတ်ပြုမည်မဟုတ်။
7 The more they increased, the more did they sin against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
၇အသင်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့၏ဦးရေများ လာသည်နှင့်အမျှငါ့ကိုသင်တို့ပြစ်မှား ကူးလွန်မှုများလာ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်ငါသည် သင်တို့ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာကိုရှုတ်ချမည်။-
8 The sin-offering of my people do they eat, and for their iniquity doth the soul of each one of them long.
၈သင်တို့သည်ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်အပြစ်ကူး လွန်ခြင်းကိုအကြောင်းပြု၍ကြွယ်ဝချမ်း သာလာကြ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်သင်တို့သည်သူတို့ အပြစ်တိုး၍ကူးလွန်စေရန်အားပေးကြ သည်။-
9 Therefore shall the same befall both people and priest: and I will punish every one of them for his ways, and recompense every one for his doings.
၉သင်တို့သည်ပြည်သားများနည်းတူအပြစ် ဒဏ်ခံရမည်။ ငါသည်သင်တို့ကိုဒဏ်ခတ် မည်။ သင်တို့၏ဒုစရိုက်အကျိုးဆက်ကို ခံစေမည်။-
10 And they will eat, and shall not be satisfied; they will commit lewdness, and they shall not increase; because the Lord have they forsaken [not] keeping [his law].
၁၀သင်တို့သည်ပူဇော်သကာဝေစုကိုစား ရသော်လည်းအဆာပြေလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်၊ သင်တို့သည်သားသမီးဖြစ်ထွန်းစေတတ် သောနတ်ဘုရားများကိုကိုးကွယ်သော် လည်းသားသမီးမထွန်းကား၊ အဘယ် ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်သင်တို့သည်၊ ငါထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုစွန့်၍အခြားသောဘုရား ကိုကိုးကွယ်ကြပြီ။-
11 Lewdness and wine and new wine take away the heart.
၁၁ထာဝရဘုရားက``ငါ၏လူစုသည်စပျစ် ရည်သစ်၊ စပျစ်ရည်ဟောင်းတို့ကိုသောက်စား ယစ်မူးသဖြင့်အသိဉာဏ်ကင်းမဲ့လျက် ရှိ၏။-
12 My people ask counsel of their stick of wood, and their staff shall tell them [the future]: for the spirit of lewdness hath caused them to err, and they are gone astray unfaithful to their God.
၁၂သူတို့သည်သစ်သားနတ်ဘုရားထံဗေဒင် မေးကြသည်။ တုတ်ချောင်းကလူတို့သိလို သမျှကိုပြောပြသည်။ သူတို့သည်ငါ့ကို စွန့်သွားကြပြီ။ ပြည့်တန်ဆာမဘဝသို့ ရောက်သောမိန်းမကဲ့သို့သူတို့သည်အခြား သောဘုရားများထံ၌ဆည်းကပ်ကြ၏။-
13 Upon the tops of the mountains do they sacrifice, and upon the hills burn they incense, under oaks and poplars and terebinths, because their shadow is good: therefore will your daughters play the harlot, and your daughter-in-law will commit adultery.
၁၃သူတို့သည်တောင်ထိပ်များပေါ်ရှိကိုးကွယ် ရာဌာနများ၌ယဇ်ပူဇော်ကြ၍ တောင် ကုန်းများပေါ်ရှိအရိပ်ကောင်းသောသစ် ပင်ကြီးများအောက်၌နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ကြသည်။ ``ထို့ကြောင့်သင်တို့၏သမီးများသည် ပြည့်တန်ဆာဘဝသို့ရောက်၍သင်တို့ ၏ချွေးမများသည်မျောက်မထားကြ၏။-
14 I cannot inflict punishment on your daughters when they play the harlot, nor on your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery; for they themselves associate with lewd women, and with harlots do they sacrifice: and so doth the people that doth not understand stumble.
၁၄သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့ကိုငါဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မမူ။ သင်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်နတ်ဘုရားကိုးကွယ်ရာ ဌာနဆိုင်ရာပြည့်တန်ဆာမများနှင့်ပေါင်း ဖော်၍ နတ်ဘုရားများကိုအတူတကွ ပူဇော်ပသလေ့ရှိသောကြောင့်ပေတည်း။ `အသိဉာဏ်ကင်းမဲ့သောလူမျိုးသည်ပျက် စီးဆုံးရှုံးရလိမ့်မည်' ဟူ၍ဆိုရိုးစကား ရှိသည်အတိုင်းပင်ဖြစ်၏။
15 Yet though thou play the harlot, O Israel, let not Judah offend: and come not ye unto Gilgal, nor go ye up to Beth-aven, nor swear, As the Lord liveth.
၁၅``အသင်ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့သည် ငါ့အားသစ္စာမဲ့ကြသော်လည်း ယုဒပြည် သားတို့သည်ထိုအပြစ်မျိုးကိုမကူး လွန်မိပါစေနှင့်၊ ဂိလဂါလမြို့သို့မ ဟုတ်ဗေသလမြို့များတွင်ဘုရားဝတ် ပြုခြင်းမပြုကြနှင့်။ ထိုမြို့များတွင် အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား ၏နာမတော်ကိုတိုင်တည်၍ကျိန်တွယ် ပြောဆိုမှုမပြုကြနှင့်။-
16 For like an untamable cow is Israel disobedient: now would the Lord have fed them as a sheep in a wide pasture.
၁၆ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့သည်ထိန်း ကျောင်းရခက်သောနွားမတမ်းကဲ့သို့ပေ ကပ်ကပ်နိုင်လှ၏။ ငါသည်သူတို့အား သိုးကလေးများသဖွယ်စားကျက်တွင် မည်ကဲ့သို့ထိန်းကျောင်းနိုင်ပါအံ့နည်း။-
17 Ephraim is bound to idols: let him alone.
၁၇ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့သည်ရုပ်တုကို ကိုးကွယ်ခြင်း၌စွဲလန်းကြ၏။ ရှိစေ တော့။-
18 Their drinking bout will come to an end: while they are so often guilty of lewdness, their rulers love, prepare themselves but shame.
၁၈သူတို့သည်စပျစ်ရည်သောက်ကြူး၍ပြည့် တန်ဆာအလုပ်ဖြင့်ပျော်ပါးကြ၏။ သူတို့ သည်ဂုဏ်ရှိစေမည့်အမှုထက်အရှက်ကွဲ စေမည့်အမှုကိုနှစ်သက်ကြ၏။-
19 The wind seizeth fast on them with its wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.
၁၉သူတို့သည်လေတိုက်ရာပါသွားသကဲ့သို့ လွင့်စင်သွားကြလိမ့်မည်။ နတ်ဘုရားများ ကိုပူဇော်ပသခဲ့ခြင်းကြောင့်ရှက်ကြလိမ့် မည်။
