Hosea 11
1 When Israel was yet young, then I loved him, and out of Egypt did I call my son.
Markii Israa'iil ilmo yar ahaa waan jeclaan jiray, oo wiilkaygii Israa'iil waxaan uga yeedhay dalka Masar.
2 The [prophets] called them; but the more they went from them: unto the Be'alim would they sacrifice, and to the graven images would they burn incense.
Sidii loogu yeedhay ayay iyagii uga fogaadeen. Waxay allabari u bixiyeen Bacaliim, oo foox bay u shideen sanamyo xardhan.
3 Yet I myself appointed a leader for Ephraim, who took them up in his arms; but they would not acknowledge that I healed them.
Oo weliba reer Efrayim waan socod baray, oo gacmahaygaan ku xambaaray, laakiinse iyagu ma ay ogayn inaan bogsiiyey iyaga.
4 With human cords I ever drew them forward, with leading-strings of love: and I was to them as those that lift off the yoke from their jaws, and I held out unto them food.
Waxaan iyaga ku soo jiiday dad xadhkihiis iyo jacayl xidhmihiis, oo waxaan u ahaa sidii kuwa daamankooda harqoodka ka dejiya, oo waxaan hortooda dhigay cunto.
5 He should not return unto the land of Egypt: yet [now] is the Assyrian his king; because they refused to repent.
Iyagu kuma noqon doonaan dalkii Masar, laakiinse waxaa boqor u noqon doona kii reer Ashuur, maxaa yeelay, iyagu way diideen inay noqdaan.
6 And the sword shall fall on his cities, and shall make an end of his boughs, and consume them, because of their [evil] counsels.
Oo seef baa waxay ku dhici doontaa magaalooyinkooda, oo waxay baabbi'in doontaa qataarradooda, oo way wada dhammayn doontaa iyaga, waana taladooda daraaddeed.
7 For my people are only bent on backsliding from me; and though upward they call them, they altogether will not elevate themselves.
Dadkaygii waxay ku tashadeen inay dib iga noqdaan. In kastoo iyaga loogu yeedhay Kan ugu sarreeya, innaba midnaba isaga ma sarraysiin doono.
8 How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I surrender thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I change thee as Zeboyim? turned is my heart within me, all my compassion is enkindled together.
Reer Efrayimow, sidee baan idiin sii dayn karaa? Dadka Israa'iilow, sidee baan idiin gacangelin karaa? Sidee baan idiinka dhigi karaa sidii Admaah? Oo sidee baan idiinka dhigi karaa sidii Seboyim? Qalbigaygii wuu igu dhex rogmadaa oo naxariis buu la dhaqaaqaa.
9 I will not execute the fierceness of my anger, I will not again destroy Ephraim; for God am I, and not man, the Holy One in the midst of thee, and I will not come with an enemy's hatred.
Anigu soo dayn maayo kulaylka cadhadayda, oo u soo noqon maayo inaan reer Efrayim baabbi'iyo, waayo, waxaan ahay Ilaah, oo qof aadmi ah ma ihi. Anigu dhexdiinna waxaan ku ahay Kan Quduuska ah, oo magaalada cadho la geli maayo.
10 They shall follow after the Lord, when he will roar like a lion; for he will roar, and the children shall hasten together from the west;
Iyagu waxay daba geli doonaan Rabbiga oo sidii libaax buu u ciyi doonaa, Markuu ciyo ilmihiisu xagga galbeed bay ka iman doonaan iyagoo gariiraya.
11 They shall hasten together as birds out of Egypt, and as doves out of the land of Assyria: and I will cause them to dwell in their houses, saith the Lord.
Waxay iyagoo gariiraya u iman doonaan sidii shimbir Masar ka soo baxday, iyo sidii qoolley ka soo baxday dalka Ashuur, oo anigu waxaan iyaga ka dhigi doonaa inay guryahooda iska degganaadaan, ayaa Rabbigu leeyahay.
12 With lies hath Ephraim encompassed me about, and with deceit, the house of Israel; but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful to the Holy One.
Reer Efrayim waxay igu hareereeyaan been oo waxaa dadka Israa'iil igu hareereeyaan khiyaano, laakiinse dadka Yahuudah weli Ilaah bay wax la xukumaan, oo Kan Quduuska ah ayay daacad u yihiin.
