Genesis 49
1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
ヤコブその子等を呼ていひけるは汝らあつまれ我後の日に汝らが遇んところの事を汝等につげん
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
汝等つどひて聽けヤコブの子等よ汝らの父イスラエルに聽け
3 Reuben, thou art my first-born, my might, and the beginning of my strength; the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power [should be thine].
ルベン汝はわが冢子わが勢わが力の始威光の卓越たる者權威の卓越たる者なり
4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not have the excellence; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou the one who ascended my couch.
汝は水の沸あがるがごとき者なれば卓越を得ざるべし汝父の床にのぼりて浼したればなり嗚呼彼はわが寢牀にのぼれり
5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; weapons of violence are their swords.
シメオン、レビは兄弟なりその劍は暴逆の器なり
6 Into their secret shall my soul not come; unto their assembly my spirit shall not be united; for in their anger they slew the man, and in their self-will they lamed the ox.
我魂よかれらの席にのぞむなかれ我寶よかれらの集會につらなるなかれ其は彼等その怒にまかせて人をころしその意にまかせて牛を筋截たればなり
7 Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce; and their wrath, for it is cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
その怒は烈しかれば詛ふべしその憤は暴あれば詛ふべし我彼らをヤコブの中に分ちイスラエルの中に散さん
8 Judah, thou art the one thy brothers shall praise, thy hand shall be on the neck of thy enemies; thy father's children shall bow down unto thee.
ユダよ汝は兄弟の讚る者なり汝の手はなんぢの敵の頸を抑へんなんぢの父の子等なんぢの前に鞠ん
9 Like a lion's whelp, O Judah, from the prey, my son, thou risest: he stoopeth down, he croucheth as a lion, and as a lioness, who shall rouse him up?
ユダは獅子の子の如しわが子よ汝は所掠物をさきてかへりのぼる彼は牡獅子のごとく伏し牝獅のごとく蹲まる誰か之をおこすことをせん
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet; until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
杖ユダを離れず法を立る者その足の間をはなるることなくしてシロの來る時にまでおよばん彼に諸の民したがふべし
11 He bindeth unto the vine his foal, and to the vine-branch his ass's colt; he washeth his garments in wine, and in the blood of grapes his clothes;
彼その驢馬を葡萄の樹に繋ぎその牝驢馬の子を葡萄の蔓に繋がん又その衣を酒にあらひ其服を葡萄の汁にあらふべし
12 His eyes shall be red from wine, and his teeth white from milk.
その目は酒によりて紅くその齒は乳によりて白し
13 Zebulun shall dwell at the margin of the seas; and he shall be at the haven of ships; and his border shall be near to Zidon.
ゼブルンは海邊にすみ舟の泊る海邊に住はんその界はシドンにおよぶべし
14 Issachar is a strong-boned ass, couching down between the stables.
イッサカルは羊の牢の間に伏す健き驢馬の如し
15 And when he saw the resting-place that it was good, and the land that it was pleasant, he bent his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
彼みて安泰を善としその國を樂とし肩をさげて負ひ租税をいだして僕となるべし
16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
ダンはイスラエルの他の支派の如く其民を鞫かん
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder on the path, that biteth the horse in the heels, so that his rider falleth backward.
ダンは路の旁の蛇のごとく途邊にある蝮のごとし馬の踵を噛てその騎者をして後に落しむ
18 For thy salvation, I hope, O Lord.
ヱホバよわれ汝の拯救を待り
19 Gad, troops will band against him; but he shall wound their heel.
ガドは軍勢これにせまらんされど彼返てその後にせまらん
20 Out of Asher cometh fat bread, and he shall yield royal dainties.
アセルよりいづる食物は美るべし彼王の食ふ美味をいださん
21 Naphtali is [like] a fleet hind; he bringeth pleasant words.
ナフタリは釋れたる麀のごとし彼美言をいだすなり
22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; the branches of which run over the wall.
ヨセフは實を結ぶ樹の芽のごとし即ち泉の傍にある實をむすぶ樹の芽のごとしその枝つひに垣を踰ゆ
23 And they embittered his life, and they shot at him, and they hated him, the men of the arrows.
射者彼をなやまし彼を射かれを惡めり
24 But his bow abode in strength, and his arm and his hands remained firm; from the hands of the mighty God of Jacob, from there thou becamest the shepherd, the stone of Israel.
然どかれの弓はなほ勁くあり彼の手の臂は力あり是ヤコブの全能者の手によりてなり其よりイスラエルの磐なる牧者いづ
25 From the God of thy father, who will help thee; and from the Almighty, who will bless thee, with blessings of heaven above, with blessings of the deep that coucheth beneath, with blessings of the breasts, and of the womb;
汝の父の神による彼なんぢを助けん全能者による彼なんぢを祝まん上なる天の福、下によこたはる淵の福、乳哺の福、胎の福、汝にきたるべし
26 With the blessings of thy father that have excelled the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: these shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.
父の汝を祝することはわが父祖の祝したる所に勝て恒久の山の限極にまでおよばん是等の祝福はヨセフの首に歸しその兄弟と別になりたる者の頭頂に歸すべし
27 Benjamin shall be as a wolf that rendeth: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at evening he shall divide the spoil.
ベニヤミンは物を噛む狼なり朝にその所掠物を啖ひ夕にその所攫物をわかたん
28 All these are the tribes of Israel, twelve in number; and this is what their father spoke unto them, and wherewith he blessed them; every one according to his proper blessing blessed he them.
是等はイスラエルの十二の支派なり斯その父彼らに語り彼等を祝せりすなはちその祝すべき所にしたがひて彼等諸人を祝せり
29 And he charged them and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people; bury me near my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
ヤコブまた彼等に命じて之にいひけるは我はわが民にくははらんとすヘテ人エフロンの田にある洞穴にわが先祖等とともに我をはうむれ
30 In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which field Abraham bought of Ephron the Hittite, for a possession as a burying-place,
その洞穴はカナンの地にてマムレのまへなるマクペラの田にあり是はアブラハムがヘテ人エフロンより田とともに購て所有の墓所となせし者なり
31 (There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah, )
アブラハムとその妻サラ彼處にはうむられイサクとその妻リベカ彼處に葬られたり我またかしこにレアを葬れり
32 Purchasing the field and the cave that is therein from the children of Heth.
彼田とその中の洞穴はヘテの子孫より購たる者なり
33 And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed; and he departed this life, and was gathered unto his people.
ヤコブその子に命ずることを終し時足を床に斂めて氣たえてその民にくははる
