< Genesis 47 >

1 Then came Joseph and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brothers, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.
Yakob mma no beduu Misraim asase so no, Yosef kɔka kyerɛɛ Farao se, “Mʼagya ne me nuanom no de wɔn nguan ne wɔn anantwi ne wɔn agyapade nyinaa afi Kanaan asase so aba, na wɔwɔ Gosen asase so.”
2 And he took some of his brothers, five men, and presented them before Pharaoh.

3 And Pharaoh said unto his brothers, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, as also our fathers.
Farao bisaa anuanom no se, “Adwuma bɛn na moyɛ?” Wobuaa no se, “Wo nkoa yɛ nguanhwɛfo, sɛnea na yɛn agyanom nso yɛ nguanhwɛfo no.”
4 They said moreover unto Pharaoh, To sojourn in the land are we come; because there is no pasture for the flocks of thy servants, for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan; and now let thy servants dwell, we pray thee, in the land of Goshen.
Anuanom no toaa so se, “Yɛaba ha sɛ ananafo a yɛrebɛtena ha kakra, efisɛ ɔkɔm no ano yɛ den yiye wɔ Kanaan asase so hɔ, na wo nkoa nguan nnya aduan nni. Enti yɛresrɛ wo kwan na yɛatena Gosen asase so ha.”
5 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, thus, Thy father and thy brothers are come unto thee:
Farao ka kyerɛɛ Yosef se, “Wʼagya ne wo nuanom aba wo nkyɛn.
6 The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land let thy father and brothers dwell; let them dwell in the land of Goshen; and if thou knowest that there are among them men of activity, then appoint them rulers over my cattle.

Farao bisaa Yakob se, “Woadi mfe ahe?”
9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred and thirty years: few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
Yakob buaa Farao se, “Madi mfe ɔha ne aduasa a ɔhaw ne abɛbrɛsɛ wɔ mu. Minnu mʼagyanom nkwanna a wɔde tenaa asase so no ho hwee.”
10 And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

17 And they brought their cattle unto Joseph; and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks of sheep, and for the herds of cattle, and for the asses; and he supplied them with bread for all their cattle for that year.
