Genesis 46
1 And Israel commenced his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
Իսրայէլն իր ամբողջ ունեցուածքով ճանապարհ ընկաւ եւ եկաւ Երդման ջրհորի մօտ: Նա զոհ մատուցեց իր հայր Իսահակի Աստծուն:
2 And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
Գիշերը Աստուած տեսիլքի մէջ Իսրայէլին ասաց. «Յակո՛բ, Յակո՛բ»: Սա հարցրեց. «Դու ո՞վ ես»:
3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father; fear not to go down into Egypt; for a great nation will I make of thee there:
Նա պատասխանեց. «Ես քո հայրերի Աստուածն եմ: Մի՛ վախեցիր Եգիպտոս իջնելուց, որովհետեւ քեզ այնտեղ մեծ ազգ եմ դարձնելու:
4 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again; and Joseph shall put his hand upon thy eyes.
Ես քեզ հետ կ՚իջնեմ Եգիպտոս, եւ ինքս էլ քեզ ընդմիշտ կը հանեմ այնտեղից: Եւ Յովսէփն իր ձեռքով կը փակի քո աչքերը»:
5 And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
Յակոբը Երդման ջրհորի մօտից ելաւ, եւ Իսրայէլի որդիներն իրենց հայր Յակոբին, կահկարասին ու կանանց տեղաւորեցին այն սայլերի վրայ, որ Յովսէփն էր ուղարկել՝ նրան բերելու համար: Վերցնելով իրենց ունեցուածքն
6 And they took their cattle and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt; Jacob, and all his seed with him:
ու Քանանացիների երկրում ձեռք բերած ամէն ինչ, Եգիպտոս մտան Յակոբն ու նրա ողջ սերունդը՝
7 His sons, and his son's sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed he brought with him into Egypt.
իր որդիներն ու որդիների որդիները, իր դուստրերն ու դուստրերի դուստրերը: Նա իր ողջ սերունդը բերեց Եգիպտոս:
8 And these are the names of the children of Israel, that came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: the first-born of Jacob, Reuben.
Սրանք են Իսրայէլի այն որդիների անունները, որոնք Եգիպտոս մտան. այն է՝ Յակոբն ու իր որդիները: Յակոբի անդրանիկ որդին էր Ռուբէնը:
9 And the sons of Reuben: Chanoch, and Pallu, and Chezron, and Carmi.
Ռուբէնի որդիներն են՝ Ենոքը, Փալլուսը, Ասրոնն ու Քարմին:
10 And the sons of Simeon: Yemuel, and Yamin, and Ohad, and Yachin, and Zochar, and Shaul the son of the Canaanitish woman.
Շմաւոնի որդիներն են՝ Յամուէլը, Յամինը, Ահոդը, Յաքինը, Սահառն ու քանանացի կնոջից ծնուած Սաւուղը:
11 And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kehath, and Merari.
Ղեւիի որդիներն են՝ Գերսոնը, Կահաթն ու Մերարին:
12 And the sons of Judah: 'Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerach; but 'Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Perez were Chezron and Chamul.
Յուդայի որդիներն են՝ Էրը, Օնանը, Սելոմը, Փարէսն ու Զարան: Էրն ու Օնանը մեռան Քանանացիների երկրում: Փարէսի որդիները եղան Ասրոմն ու Յամուէլը:
13 And the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puvah, and Yob, and Shimron.
Իսաքարի որդիներն են՝ Թողան, Փուդը, Յասուբն ու Զամամը:
14 And the sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Yachleel.
Զաբուղոնի որդիներն են՝ Սերեդը, Ալլոնն ու Էէլը:
15 These are the sons of Leah, whom she bore unto Jacob in Padan-aram, with Dinah his daughter: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
Սրանք Լիայի որդիներն են, որոնց, նաեւ իր դուստր Դինային, նա ծնեց Յակոբի համար՝ Ասորիների Միջագետքում. բոլորը՝ որդիներն ու դուստրերը, երեսուներեք հոգի էին:
16 And the sons of Gad: Ziphyon, and Chaggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, 'Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
Գադի որդիներն են՝ Սափոնը, Մեդիսը, Սաւնիան, Թաւսոբամը, Այեդիսը, Արոյէլիսը եւ Արիէլիսը:
17 And the sons of Asher: Yimnah, and Yishvah, and Yishvi, and Beriah, and Serach their sister; and the sons of Beriah: Cheber, and Malkiel.
Ասերի որդիներն են՝ Յեմնան, Յեսուան, Յէուլը, Բարիան եւ նրանց քոյր Սարան: Բարիայի որդիներն են՝ Քոբորը եւ Մելքիէլը:
18 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and she bore these unto Jacob, sixteen souls.
Սրանք որդիներն են Զելփայի, որին Լաբանը տուել էր իր դուստր Լիային: Սա Յակոբի համար ունեցաւ այս տասնվեց որդիներին:
19 The sons of Rachel, Jacob's wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
Ռաքէլի՝ Յակոբի կնոջ որդիներն են՝ Յովսէփն ու Բենիամինը:
20 And there were born unto Joseph in the land of Egypt Menasseh and Ephraim, whom Assenath the daughter of Poti-phera', the priest of On, bore unto him.
Եգիպտացիների երկրում Արեգ քաղաքի քուրմ Պետրափրեսի դուստր Ասանէթից Յովսէփն ունեցաւ իր Մանասէ ու Եփրեմ որդիներին: Մանասէն ասորի հարճից ունեցաւ որդիներ, որոնցից մէկն էր Մաքիրը: Մաքիրը ծնեց Գաղաադին: Եփրեմի՝ Մանասէի եղբօր որդիներն են՝ Սուտաղաամն ու Տաամը: Սուտաղաամի որդին է Եդ»մը:
21 And the sons of Benjamin: Bela', and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Echi, and Rosh, Muppim and Chuppim, and Ard.
Բենիամինի որդիներն են՝ Բաղան, Բոքորն ու Ասբեէն: Բաղան ծնեց որդիներ՝ Գէերային, Նէեմանին, Անաքիսին, Ռոսին, Մամփիմին ու Ոփիմինին: Գէերան ծնեց Արադին:
22 These are the sons of Rachel, that were born to Jacob: in all fourteen souls.
Սրանք Ռաքէլի որդիներն են, որոնց նա ծնեց Յակոբի համար. բոլորը՝ տասնութ հոգի:
23 And the son of Dan: Chushim.
Դանի որդիներից մէկն է Ասոմը:
24 And the sons of Naphtali: Yachzeel, and Guni, and Yezer, and Shillem.
Նեփթաղիմի որդիներն են՝ Ասիէլը, Գոնին, Ասարն ու Սիլլեմը:
25 These are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bore these unto Jacob, in all seven souls.
Սրանք որդիներն են Բալայի, որին Լաբանը տուեց իր դուստր Ռաքէլին. Բալլան ծնեց սրանց Յակոբի համար. բոլորը՝ եօթը հոգի:
26 All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, that came out of his loins, besides the wives of Jacob's sons, were in all sixty and six souls.
Յակոբի կողից ծնուած եւ նրա հետ Եգիպտոս մտած բոլոր մարդկանց թիւը, չհաշուած Յակոբի որդիների կանանց, վաթսունվեց է:
27 And the sons of Joseph, who were born him in Egypt, were two souls; all the souls of the house of Jacob, that came into Egypt, were seventy.
Յովսէփը Եգիպտոսում ունեցաւ երկու որդի: Այսպիսով Յակոբի ընտանիքի՝ Եգիպտոս մտած բոլոր տղամարդկանց թիւը եօթանասունհինգ է:
28 And Judah he sent before him unto Joseph, to direct him beforehand unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
Յակոբը իրենից առաջ Յուդային ուղարկեց Յովսէփի մօտ, որպէսզի սա ընդառաջ գայ նրան Քաջաց քաղաքի մօտ՝ Ռամէսի երկրում, իսկ ինքն եկաւ Գեսեմ երկիրը:
29 And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen; and when he obtained sight of him, he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
Յովսէփը լծեց իր կառքը եւ Քաջաց քաղաքի մօտ ընդառաջ գնաց իր հայր Իսրայէլին: Երբ Յովսէփը հանդիպեց նրան, փաթաթուեց նրա վզին եւ հեկեկալով լաց եղաւ:
30 And Israel said unto Joseph, Let me die now, since I have seen thy face, that thou art yet alive.
Իսրայէլն ասաց Յովսէփին. «Այսուհետեւ կարող եմ մեռնել, որովհետեւ տեսայ քո երեսը, եւ դու տակաւին կենդանի ես»:
31 And Joseph said unto his brothers, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and tell Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brothers and my father's house, who were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
Յովսէփն ասաց իր եղբայրներին ու իր հօր ընտանիքին. «Գնամ յայտնեմ փարաւոնին, որ Քանանացիների երկրում բնակուող իմ եղբայրներն ու հօրս ընտանիքը եկել են ինձ մօտ:
32 And the men are shepherds, for they have been owners of cattle; and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, they have brought along.
Նրանք խաշնարածներ են եւ իրենց անասունները, արջառներն ու ողջ ունեցուածքը բերել են այստեղ:
33 And it shall come to pass, if Pharaoh should have you called, and say, What is your occupation?
Արդ, եթէ փարաւոնը կանչի ձեզ ու հարցնի, թէ՝ «Ի՞նչ է ձեր գործը»,
34 That ye shall say, Owners of cattle have thy servants been from our youth even until now, both we, as also our fathers; in order that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
կ՚ասէք, որ «Մենք՝ քո ծառաները, մանուկ հասակից մինչեւ այժմ խաշնարածներ ենք, մենք եւ մեր հայրը», որպէսզի նա թոյլ տայ ձեզ բնակուել Գեսեմ երկրում, որովհետեւ եգիպտացիները խորշում են ոչխարների հովիւներից»:
