Genesis 45
1 Then could Joseph not refrain himself before all those that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there remained no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brothers.
അപ്പോൾ ചുറ്റും നില്ക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ അടക്കുവാൻ വഹിയാതെ: എല്ലാവരെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു പുറത്താക്കുവിൻ എന്നു യോസേഫ് വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ യോസേഫ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാൎക്കു തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോൾ ആരും അടുക്കൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
2 And he raised his voice in weeping; and the Egyptians heard it, and the house of Pharaoh heard it.
അവൻ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ കരഞ്ഞു; മിസ്രയീമ്യരും ഫറവോന്റെ ഗൃഹവും അതു കേട്ടു.
3 And Joseph said unto his brothers, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brothers could not answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.
യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടു: ഞാൻ യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അപ്പൻ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയതുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറവാൻ അവൎക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
4 And Joseph said unto his brothers, Come near to me, I pray you; and they came near; and he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടു: ഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുത്തുവരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അടുത്തുചെന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു; നിങ്ങൾ മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരൻ യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു ഞാൻ.
5 But now be not grieved, nor be angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither; for in order to preserve life did God send me before you.
എന്നെ ഇവിടെ വിറ്റതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ടാ, വിഷാദിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ; ജീവരക്ഷക്കായി ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.
6 For these two years hath the famine been already in the land; and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither ploughing nor harvesting.
ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു ഇപ്പോൾ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായി; ഉഴവും കൊയ്ത്തും ഇല്ലാത്ത അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ഇനിയും ഉണ്ടു.
7 And God hath thus sent me before you to prepare for you a permanence on the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
ഭൂമിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സന്തതി ശേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും വലിയോരു രക്ഷയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God; and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and a lord for all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അല്ല, ദൈവം അത്രേ എന്നെ ഇവിടെ അയച്ചതു; അവൻ എന്നെ ഫറവോന്നു പിതാവും അവന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒക്കെയും യജമാനനും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus hath said thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt; come down unto me, tarry not.
നിങ്ങൾ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിന്റെ മകനായ യോസേഫ് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നു: ദൈവം എന്നെ മിസ്രയീമിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ താമസിയാതെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരേണം.
10 And thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that is thine.
നീ ഗോശെൻദേശത്തു പാൎത്തു എനിക്കു സമീപമായിരിക്കും; നീയും മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും നിന്റെ ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളും നിനക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും തന്നേ.
11 And I will maintain thee there; for there are yet five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.
നിനക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും നിനക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്നും ദാരിദ്ൎയ്യം നേരിടാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവിടെ നിന്നെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കും; ക്ഷാമം ഇനിയും അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം നില്ക്കും.
12 And, behold, your own eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you.
ഇതാ, ഞാൻ തന്നേ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും എന്റെ അനുജൻ ബെന്യാമീനും കണ്ണാലെ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.
13 And ye shall tell my father of all my honor in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall hasten and bring down my father hither.
മിസ്രയീമിൽ എനിക്കുള്ള മഹത്വവും നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടതൊക്കെയും അപ്പനെ അറിയിക്കേണം; എന്റെ അപ്പനെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും വേണം.
14 And he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
അവൻ തന്റെ അനുജൻ ബെന്യാമീനെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; ബെന്യാമീൻ അവനെയും കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു.
15 And he kissed all his brothers, and wept upon them; and after that his brothers spoke with him.
അവൻ സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും ചുംബിച്ചു കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാർ അവനുമായി സല്ലാപിച്ചു.
16 And the report thereof was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers are come; and it was pleasing in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants.
യോസേഫിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ള കേൾവി ഫറവോന്റെ അരമനയിൽ എത്തി; അതു ഫറവോന്നും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാൎക്കും സന്തോഷമായി.
17 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brothers, This do ye; load your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;
ഫറവോൻ യോസേഫിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ ഇതു ചെയ്‌വിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പുറത്തു ചുമടു കയറ്റി പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാൻദേശത്തു ചെന്നു
18 And take your father and your households, and come unto me; and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.
നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മിസ്രയീംരാജ്യത്തിലെ നന്മ തരും; ദേശത്തിന്റെ പുഷ്ടി നിങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കും.
19 And thou art commanded, This do ye, take unto yourselves out of the land of Egypt wagons for your little ones, and for your wives, and take up your father, and come.
നിനക്കു കല്പന തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങൾക്കും ഭാൎയ്യമാൎക്കും വേണ്ടി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു രഥങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുപോയി നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെ കയറ്റി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
20 And do ye feel no concern on account of your household goods; for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.
നിങ്ങളുടെ സാമാനങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടാ; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെങ്ങുമുള്ള നന്മ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.
21 And the children of Israel did so; and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the command of Pharaoh; and he gave them provision for the way.
യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു; യോസേഫ് അവൎക്കു ഫറവോന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം രഥങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു; വഴിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന ആഹാരവും കൊടുത്തു.
22 To all of them he gave to each changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment.
അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തന്നു ഓരോ വസ്ത്രവും ബെന്യാമീന്നോ മുന്നൂറു വെള്ളിക്കാശും അഞ്ചു വസ്ത്രവും കൊടുത്തു.
23 And to his father he sent after this manner: ten asses laden with the best things of Egypt, and ten she-asses laden with corn and bread and other food for his father, for the journey.
അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പന്നു പത്തു കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു മിസ്രയീമിലെ വിശേഷസാധനങ്ങളും പത്തു പെൺകഴുതപ്പുറത്തു വഴിച്ചെലവിന്നു ധാന്യവും ആഹാരവും കയറ്റി അയച്ചു.
24 And he accompanied his brothers on the way, and they departed: and he said unto them, Do not fall out by the way.
അങ്ങനെ അവൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ യാത്ര അയച്ചു; അവർ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ: നിങ്ങൾ വഴിയിൽ വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠകൂടരുതെന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
25 And they went out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, unto Jacob their father.
അവർ മിസ്രയീമിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാൻദേശത്തു അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തി.
26 And they told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive; and that he is governor over all the land of Egypt. But his heart remained cold, for he believed them not.
അവനോടു: യോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ യാക്കോബ് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോയി; അവർ പറഞ്ഞതു വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.
27 But when they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them; and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him: the spirit of Jacob their father revived.
യോസേഫ് തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞവാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും അവർ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; തന്നെ കയറ്റികൊണ്ടു പോകുവാൻ യോസേഫ് അയച്ച രഥങ്ങളെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു വീണ്ടും ചൈതന്യം വന്നു.
28 And Israel said, Enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
മതി; എന്റെ മകൻ യോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മരിക്കുംമുമ്പെ അവനെ പോയി കാണും എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
