Genesis 44
1 And he commanded the superintendent of his house, saying, Fill the sacks of these men with food, as much as they can carry, and put every man's money in the mouth of his sack.
၁ယောသပ်သည်အိမ်တော်ဝန်အား``ထိုသူတို့ ၏အိတ်များတွင်ရိက္ခာစပါးကိုသူတို့သယ်နိုင် သမျှဖြည့်ပေးလော့။ တစ်ယောက်စီ၏အိတ်ဝ ၌လည်းသူ၏စပါးဖိုးငွေကိုထည့်ပေးလော့။-
2 And my cup, the silver cup, thou shalt put in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, and the money for his corn. And he did according to the word of Joseph which he had spoken.
၂အငယ်ဆုံးသောသူ၏အိတ်ဝတွင်ငါ၏ဖလားနှင့် သူ၏စပါးဖိုးငွေကိုထည့်ပေးလော့'' ဟုအမိန့် ပေး၏။ အိမ်တော်ဝန်သည်ယောသပ်မိန့်မှာသည့် အတိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်လေ၏။-
3 As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away, they and their asses.
၃နံနက်မိုးလင်းသောအခါသူတို့သည်မြည်း များနှင့်တကွထွက်သွားကြလေ၏။-
4 They were gone out of the city, not yet far off, when Joseph said unto the superintendent of his house, Up, follow after the men; and when thou hast overtaken them, say unto them, Wherefore have ye returned evil for good?
၄သူတို့သည်မြို့နှင့်မလှမ်းမကမ်းသောအရပ် သို့ရောက်ကြသောအခါယောသပ်က သူ၏အိမ် တော်ဝန်အား``ထိုသူတို့နောက်သို့အမြန်လိုက်လော့။ သူတို့ကိုမီသောအခါ`သင်တို့သည်အဘယ် ကြောင့်ကျေးဇူးရှင်ကိုကျေးစွပ်ရသနည်း။-
5 Is not this out of which my lord drinketh, and whereby indeed he divineth? ye have done evil in so doing.
၅ငါ့သခင်၏ငွေဖလားကိုအဘယ်ကြောင့်ခိုးရ သနည်း။ ထိုဖလားသည်ငါ့သခင်သောက်သော ဖလား၊ နိမိတ်ဖတ်သောဖလားဖြစ်၏။ သင်တို့ သည်ကြီးလေးသောပြစ်မှုကိုကူးလွန်လေ ပြီ' ဟုပြောလော့'' ဟူ၍စေခိုင်းလေ၏။
6 And he overtook them, and he spoke unto them these same words.
၆အိမ်တော်ဝန်သည်ထိုသူတို့နောက်သို့လိုက်၍ မီသောအခါ ယောသပ်မှာကြားလိုက်သည့် အတိုင်းသူတို့အားပြောလေ၏။-
7 And they said unto him, Wherefore will my lord speak such words as these? God forbid that thy servants should do any thing like this.
၇ထိုအခါသူတို့က``အရှင်၊ ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို ဤသို့မစွပ်စွဲပါနှင့်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့သည်ထို သို့သောပြစ်မှုကိုမကူးလွန်ကြောင်းကျိန် ဆိုပါသည်။-
8 Behold the money, which we found in the mouth of our sacks, we brought back unto thee out of the land of Canaan: how then should we steal out of thy lord's house silver or gold?
၈ကျွန်တော်တို့၏အိတ်ဝများ၌တွေ့ရှိသော ငွေကိုပင် ခါနာန်ပြည်မှပြန်၍ယူခဲ့ကြောင်း အရှင်သိပါသည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျွန်တော်တို့ သည်ဘုရင်ခံ၏အိမ်မှရွှေငွေကိုအဘယ် ကြောင့်ခိုးယူရပါမည်နည်း။-
9 With whomsoever of thy servants it be found, let him die; and we also will be bondmen unto thy lord.
၉ကျွန်တော်တို့အနက်တစ်ယောက်ယောက်ထံ ၌ထိုဖလားကိုတွေ့လျှင် ထိုသူသည်သေ ဒဏ်သင့်ပါစေ။ ကျန်သောကျွန်တော်တို့သည် လည်းအရှင့်ထံ၌ကျွန်ခံပါမည်'' ဟုဆို လေ၏။
10 And he said, Now also let it be according to your words: he with whom it is found shall be my servant; but ye shall be blameless.
၁၀အိမ်တော်ဝန်က``သင်တို့ပြောသည့်အတိုင်း ဖြစ်ပါစေ။ သို့ရာတွင်ဖလားကိုခိုးသောသူ သာလျှင်ငါ၏ကျွန်ဖြစ်စေမည်။ ကျန်သော သူတို့သည်ချမ်းသာခွင့်ရစေမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။-
11 And they made haste, and every one of them took down his sack to the ground, and every one opened his sack.
၁၁ထိုကြောင့်သူတို့သည်အသီးသီးမိမိတို့ ၏အိတ်များကိုမြေပေါ်သို့အလျင်အမြန် ချ၍ဖွင့်ပြကြ၏။-
12 And he searched, at the eldest he began, and at the youngest he left off; and the cup was found in Benjamin's sack.
၁၂အိမ်တော်ဝန်သည်ညီအစ်ကိုတို့တွင်အသက် အကြီးဆုံးမှအငယ်ဆုံးအထိ အစဉ်လိုက် တစ်ဦးစီ၏အိတ်ကိုရှာဖွေရာဗင်္ယာမိန် အိတ်တွင်ဖလားကိုတွေ့ရလေ၏။-
13 Then they rent their clothes, and every one loaded his ass, and they returned to the city.
၁၃ထိုအခါသူတို့သည်စိတ်ပျက်ဝမ်းနည်းလျက် မိမိတို့၏အဝတ်ကိုဆုတ်ဖြဲကြ၏။ ထိုနောက် မြည်းများပေါ်သို့စပါးအိတ်များကိုတင်ပြီး လျှင်မြို့ထဲသို့ပြန်၍လိုက်လာကြလေသည်။
14 And Judah and his brothers came into Joseph's house, and he was yet there; and they fell down before him on the ground.
၁၄ယုဒနှင့်ညီများတို့သည် ယောသပ်၏အိမ်သို့ ရောက်ရှိကြသောအခါ ယောသပ်သည်အိမ်၌ ရှိနေသေး၏။ သူတို့သည်ယောသပ်၏ရှေ့တွင် ပျပ်ဝပ်ကြ၏။-
15 And Joseph said unto them, What deed is this that ye have done? knew ye not that such a man as I can certainly divine?
၁၅ယောသပ်က``သင်တို့အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဤသို့ပြု ဘိသနည်း။ ငါသည်သင်တို့ပြုသမျှတို့ကို နိမိတ်ဖတ်ခြင်းဖြင့်သိနိုင်စွမ်းရှိကြောင်း သင်တို့မသိကြသလော'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။
16 And Judah said, What shall we say unto my lord? what shall we speak? or how shall we justify ourselves? God hath found out the iniquity of thy servants: behold we are servants unto my lord, both we, as also he in whose hand the cup was found.
၁၆ယုဒက``ကျွန်တော်တို့သည် အရှင်အားမည်သို့ လျှောက်ထားနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ မည်ကဲ့သို့ဆင်ခြေ တက်နိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ ကျွန်တော်တို့မကူးလွန် ကြောင်း မည်ကဲ့သို့သက်သေအထောက်အထား ပြနိုင်ပါအံ့နည်း။ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယ်တော်တိုင် ကကျွန်တော်တို့၏အပြစ်ကိုဖော်ထုတ်တော် မူပါပြီ။ ဖလားနှင့်တွေ့ရသူတစ်ဦးသာမက ကျွန်တော်တို့အားလုံးအရှင့်ထံ၌ကျွန်ခံပါ မည်'' ဟုလျှောက်ထားလေ၏။
17 And he said, God forbid that I should do this: the man in whose hand the cup was found, he shall be my servant; and as for you, go you up in peace unto your father.
၁၇ယောသပ်က``ထိုသို့ငါမပြုလုပ်နိုင်။ ဖလား နှင့်တွေ့ရသူကိုသာလျှင်ငါ၏ကျွန်ဖြစ်စေ မည်။ ကျန်သောသူတို့သည်သင်တို့၏အဖထံ သို့ဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံစွာပြန်သွားကြလော့''ဟု ဆိုလေ၏။
18 Then Judah came near unto him, and said, Pardon, my lord, let thy servant, I pray thee, speak a word in my lord's ears, and let not thy anger burn against thy servant; for thou art even as Pharaoh.
၁၈ထိုနောက်ယုဒသည်ယောသပ်ထံသို့ချဉ်းကပ် ၍``အရှင်အားစကားတစ်ခွန်းကိုလျှောက်တင် ပါရစေ။ ကျွန်တော်အားအမျက်ထွက်တော်မ မူပါနှင့်။ အရှင်သည်ဖာရောဘုရင်ကဲ့သို့ ပင်ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူပါ၏။-
19 My lord asked his servants, saying, Have ye a father, or a brother.
၁၉အရှင်က`သင်တို့တွင်ဖခင်ရှိသေးသလော။ ညီရှိ သေးသလော' ဟုမေးပါသည်။-
20 And we said unto my lord, We have an old father, and a little child born in his old age; and his brother is dead, and he alone is left of his mother, and his father loveth him.
၂၀ကျွန်တော်တို့ကအသက်အရွယ်အိုမင်းသော ဖခင်ရှိပါသည်။ ဖခင်အသက်ကြီးမှရသော ညီတစ်ယောက်လည်းရှိပါသေးသည်။ ထိုသူငယ် ၏အစ်ကိုအရင်းသေဆုံးပြီဖြစ်သောကြောင့် သူ၏မိခင်ဖွားသည့်သားများအနက်ဤ သားတစ်ယောက်တည်းသာကျန်ရှိပါသည်။ သူ၏ဖခင်ကသူ့အားအလွန်ချစ်ပါသည်' ဟုပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။-
21 And thou saidst unto thy servants, Bring him down unto me, that I may set my eye upon him.
၂၁အရှင်က`ထိုသူငယ်ကိုခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၊ ငါ တွေ့မြင်လိုသည်' ဟုမိန့်ကြားပါသည်။-
22 And we said unto my lord, The lad cannot leave his father; for if he should leave his father, he would die.
၂၂ကျွန်တော်တို့က`သူငယ်သည်အဖနှင့်မခွဲနိုင် ပါ။ အဖနှင့်ခွဲခွာခဲ့လျှင်အဖသေပါလိမ့် မည်' ဟုပြောပါသည်။-
23 And thou saidst unto thy servants, Except your youngest brother come down with you, ye shall not see my face any more.
၂၃ထိုအခါအရှင်က`သင်တို့၏ညီမပါလာလျှင် ငါ့ထံသို့နောက်တစ်ဖန်မဝင်ရ' ဟုမိန့်ကြား ပါသည်။
24 And it came to pass, when we came up unto thy servant my father, that we told him the words of my lord.
၂၄``ကျွန်တော်တို့အဖထံသို့ပြန်ရောက်ကြသော အခါ အရှင်မိန့်ကြားသမျှကိုအဖအားပြန် ကြားပါသည်။-
25 And our father said, Go back and buy us a little food.
၂၅ထိုနောက်အဖက`သင်တို့သွား၍ငါတို့အတွက် ရိက္ခာဝယ်ဦးလော့' ဟုစေခိုင်းပါသည်။-
26 And we said, We cannot go down: if our youngest brother be with us, then will we go down; for we cannot see the man's face, except our youngest brother be with us.
၂၆ကျွန်တော်တို့က`ကျွန်တော်တို့မသွားပါရစေနှင့်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့၏ညီအငယ်ဆုံးမလိုက်ပါခဲ့လျှင် ဘုရင်ခံထံသို့ဝင်ရမည်မဟုတ်ပါ။ ကျွန်တော် တို့၏ညီအငယ်ဆုံးလိုက်ပါမည်ဆိုလျှင် ကျွန်တော်တို့သွားပါမည်' ဟုဖခင်အားပြန် ပြောပါသည်။-
27 And thy servant my father said unto us, Ye know that my wife bore me two sons;
၂၇ဖခင်က`သင်တို့သိသည့်အတိုင်းရာခေလသည် သားနှစ်ယောက်တည်းဖွားမြင်၍၊-
28 And the one went out from me, and I said, Surely he hath been torn to pieces; and I have not seen him up to this time.
၂၈သားတစ်ယောက်မှာမရှိတော့ပြီ။ သူသည်သားရဲ တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့၏ကိုက်ဖြတ်ခြင်းကိုခံခဲ့ရလေပြီ။ ထို့ကြောင့်ငါသည်ယနေ့ထက်တိုင်သူ့ကိုမမြင်ရ။-
29 And if ye take this one also from me, and mischief befall him, ye will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)
၂၉ယခုဤသားကိုသင်တို့ခေါ်ဆောင်သွား၍သူသည် ဘေးဥပဒ်နှင့်တွေ့ကြုံရသော် သင်တို့အဖေအို ကြီးသည်ဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲလျက်သေရပါမည်' ဟုဆိုပါသည်။ (Sheol h7585)
30 And now, when I come to thy servant my father, and the lad be not with us; seeing that his life is bound up in the lad's life;
၃၀``သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျွန်တော်သည်သူငယ်မပါဘဲနှင့် အဖထံသို့ပြန်ရောက်လျှင် အဖကကျွန်တော် တို့နှင့်အတူသူငယ်မပါလာကြောင်းသိရသော် သူသည်မုချသေရပါလိမ့်မည်။
31 It will come to pass, that when he seeth that the lad is not with us, he will die: and thy servants would thus bring down the gray hairs of thy servant our father with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)
၃၁ဖခင်သည်ဤ သူငယ်ကြောင့်သာအသက်ရှင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့သည်ဖခင်အိုအားယူကြုံးမရ ဝမ်းနည်းလျက်သေစေအောင်ပြုလုပ်ရာရောက် ပါမည်။- (Sheol h7585)
32 For thy servant became surety for the lad unto my father, saying, If I bring him not unto thee, then shall I have sinned against my father all the days.
၃၂ထို့အပြင်ကျွန်တော်သည်သူငယ်အတွက်ဖခင် ထံ၌အာမခံခဲ့သူပင်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကျွန်တော် က`သူငယ်ကိုဖခင်ထံသို့ပြန်၍မခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ လျှင်ကျွန်တော်သည်တစ်သက်လုံးအပြစ်ခံ ပါရစေ' ဟုဖခင်အားကတိပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။-
33 Now therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant abide instead of the lad as bond-man to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brothers.
၃၃ထို့ကြောင့်သူငယ်၏ကိုယ်စားကျွန်တော်သည် အရှင့်ထံ၌ကျွန်ခံနေရစ်ပါရစေ။ သူငယ် ကိုသူ၏အစ်ကိုများနှင့်ပြန်ခွင့်ပြုရန်တောင်း ပန်ပါသည်။-
34 For how shall I go up to my father, and the lad be not with me? I should perhaps be compelled to witness the evil which would come on my father.
၃၄ကျွန်တော်သည်သူငယ်မပါဘဲဖခင်ထံသို့မည် သို့ပြန်နိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ ဖခင်ခံရမည့်စိတ်ဆင်း ရဲခြင်းကိုကျွန်တော်မမြင်ရက်နိုင်ပါ'' ဟု လျှောက်ထားလေ၏။
