Genesis 36
1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
Y estas son las generaciones de Esaú, el cual es Edom.
2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
Esaú tomó sus mujeres de las hijas de Canaán: a Ada, hija de Elón Jetteo; y Oolibama, hija de Ana, hija de Sebeón Heveo;
3 And Bahsemath Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebayoth.
Y Basemat, hija de Ismael, hermana de Nabajot.
4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Bahsemath bore Reuel;
Y Ada parió a Esaú a Elifaz; y Basemat parió a Rahuel;
5 And Aholibamah bore Yeush, and Ya'lam, and Korach: these are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land Canaan.
Y Oolibama parió a Jehús, y a Jelón, y a Coré: estos son los hijos de Esaú, que le nacieron en la tierra de Canaán.
6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan; and went into another country from the face of his brother Jacob.
Y Esaú tomó sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus hijas, y todas las personas de su casa, y sus ganados, y todas sus bestias, y toda su hacienda, que había adquirido en la tierra de Canaán, y fuése a otra tierra de delante de Jacob su hermano.
7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land of their sojourning could not bear them, because of their cattle.
Y porque la hacienda de ellos era grande, y no podían habitar juntos; ni la tierra de su peregrinación los podía sostener a causa de sus ganados.
8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
Y Esaú habitó en el monte de Seir: Esaú es Edom.
9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edom in mount Seir.
Estos son los linajes de Esaú, padre de Edom en el monte de Seir.
10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bahsemath the wife of Esau.
Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, hijo de Ada, mujer de Esaú; Rahuel, hijo de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Ga'tam, and Kenaz.
Y los hijos de Elifaz fueron: Temán, Omar, Sefo, Gatam, y Cenez.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son: and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek; these were the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.
Y Tamna fue concubina de Elifaz, hijo de Esaú, la cual parió a Elifaz a Amalec. Estos son los hijos de Ada, mujer de Esaú.
13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nachath, and Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bahsemath, Esau's wife.
Y los hijos de Rahuel fueron: Nahat, Zara, Samma, y Meza. Estos son los hijos de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bore to Esau Yeush, and Ya'lam, and Korach.
Estos fueron los hijos de Oolibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana, que fue hija de Sebeón, la cual parió a Esaú, a Jehús, Jelón, y Coré.
15 These are the dukes of the sons of Esau; the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
Estos son los duques de los hijos de Esaú: Los hijos de Elifaz primogénito de Esaú: el duque Temán, el duque Omar, el duque Sefo, el duque Cenez.
16 Duke Korach, duke Ga'tam, duke Amalek; these are the dukes of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.
El duque Coré, el duque Gatam, y el duque Amalec. Estos son los duques de Elifaz en la tierra de Edom: estos son los hijos de Ada.
17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: duke Nachath, duke Zerach, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah; these are the dukes of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bahsemath, Esau's wife.
Y estos son los hijos de Rahuel, hijo de Esaú; el duque Nahat, el duque Zara, el duque Samma, y el duque Meza. Estos son los duques que salieron de Rahuel, en la tierra de Edom: estos son los hijos de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
18 And these are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau's wife: duke Yeush, duke Ya'lam, duke Korach; these are the dukes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
Y estos son los hijos de Oolibama, mujer de Esaú: el duque Jehús, el duque Jelón, y el duque Coré. Estos son los duques que salieron de Oolibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana.
19 These are the sons of Esau, and these are their dukes; this is Edom.
Estos pues son los hijos de Esaú y sus duques: Él es Edom.
20 These are the sons of Seir the Chorite, who inhabited the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
Y estos son los hijos de Seir Horeo, moradores de la tierra: Lotán, Sobal, Sebeón, Ana.
21 And Dishon, and Etzer, and Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
Disón, Aser, y Disán. Estos son los duques de los Horeos, hijos de Seir en la tierra de Edom.
22 And the children of Lotan were Chori and Heman; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
Los hijos de Lotán fueron: Hori y Hemam: y Tanna fue hermana de Lotán.
23 And these were the children of Shobal: Alvan, and Manachath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
Y los hijos de Sobal fueron: Alván, Manahat, Ebal, Sefo, y Onán.
24 And these are the children of Zibeon: both Ajah, and Anah; this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

25 And these are the children of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

26 And these are the children of Dishan: Chemdan, and Eshban, and Yithran, and Cheran.
Y estos fueron los hijos de Disón: Hamdán, Esebán, Jetrán, y Charán.
27 These are the children of Etzer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
Y estos fueron los hijos de Eser: Balaán, Zaván, y Acam.
28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
Y estos fueron los hijos de Disán: Hus, y Arán.
29 These are the dukes of the Chorites: duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah;
Y estos fueron los duques de los Horeos: el duque Lotán, el duque Sobal, el duque Sebeón, el duque Ana,
30 Duke Dishon, duke Etzer, duke Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, after their dukes in the land of Seir.
El duque Disón, el duque Eser, el duque Disán. Estos fueron los duques de los Horeos, por sus ducados en la tierra de Seir.
31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
Y estos fueron los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel.
32 And there reigned in Edom Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
Y reinó en Edom, Bela hijo de Beor: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Denaba.
33 And Bela died, and there reigned in his stead Yobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
Y murió Bela, y reinó por él Jobab, hijo de Zara de Bosra.
34 And Yobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Teman.
Y murió Jobab, y reinó por él Husam, de tierra de Temán.
35 And Chusham died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was Avith.
Y murió Husam, y reinó por él Adad, hijo de Badad, el que hirió a Madián en el campo de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Avit.
36 And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Masrekah.
Y murió Adad, y reinó por él Semla de Masreca.
37 And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Shaul of Rechoboth by the river.
Y murió Semla, y reinó en su lugar Saul de Rohobot del río.
38 And Shaul died, and there reigned in his stead Baal-chanan the son of Achbor.
Y murió Saul, y reinó por él Balanán, hijo de Acobor.
39 And Baal-chanan the son of Achbor died, and there reigned in his stead Hadar, and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
Y murió Balanán, hijo de Acobor, y reinó por él Adar: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Fau: y el nombre de su mujer Meetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.
40 And these are the names of the dukes of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: duke Timna, duke Alvah, duke Yetheth,
Estos pues son los nombres de los duques de Esaú por sus linajes, y sus lugares, por sus nombres: el duque Tanna, el duque Alva, el duque Jetet,
41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon.
El duque Oolibama, el duque Ela, el duque Finón,
42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
El duque Cenez, el duque Temán, el duque Mabsar,
43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram; these are the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: this is Esau the father of the Edom.
El duque Magdiel, y el duque Hiram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom por sus habitaciones en la tierra de su heredad. Este es Esaú padre de los Idumeos.
