Genesis 36
1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

3 And Bahsemath Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebayoth.

4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Bahsemath bore Reuel;
Adha akaberekera Esau Erifazi, Bhasemati akabereka Reueri,
5 And Aholibamah bore Yeush, and Ya'lam, and Korach: these are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land Canaan.

6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan; and went into another country from the face of his brother Jacob.

7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land of their sojourning could not bear them, because of their cattle.

8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edom in mount Seir.
Iyi ndiyo nhoroondo yaEsau baba vavaEdhomu munyika yezvikomo yeSeiri.
10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bahsemath the wife of Esau.
Aya ndiwo mazita avanakomana vaEsau: Erifazi, mwanakomana womukadzi waEsau, Adha, Reueri, mwanakomana waBhasemati, mukadzi waEsau.
11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Ga'tam, and Kenaz.
Vanakomana vaErifazi vaiva: Temani, Omari, Zefo, Gatami naKenazi.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son: and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek; these were the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.
Mwanakomana waEsau, Erifazi naiyewo akanga ano murongo ainzi Timina, uyo akamuberekera Amareki. Ava ndivo vaiva vazukuru vaAdha, mukadzi waEsau.
13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nachath, and Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bahsemath, Esau's wife.
Vanakomana vaReueri vaiva: Nahati, Zera, Shama naMiza. Ava ndivo vaiva vazukuru vaBhasemati mukadzi waEsau.
14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bore to Esau Yeush, and Ya'lam, and Korach.
Vanakomana vaOhoribhama, mukadzi waEsau, mwanasikana waAna, muzukuru waZibheoni, vaakaberekera Esau, vaiva: Jeushi, Jaramu naKora.
15 These are the dukes of the sons of Esau; the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
Aya ndiwo aiva madzishe pakati pezvizvarwa zvaEsau: Vanakomana vaErifazi, dangwe raEsau, vaiva: madzishe Temani, Omari, Sefo, Kenazi,
16 Duke Korach, duke Ga'tam, duke Amalek; these are the dukes of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.

17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: duke Nachath, duke Zerach, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah; these are the dukes of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bahsemath, Esau's wife.
Vanakomana vaReueri, mwanakomana waEsau, vaiva madzishe Nahati, Zera, Shama naMiza. Aya ndiwo madzishe akabva kuna Reueri muEdhomu; vakanga vari vazukuru vaBhasemati, mukadzi waEsau.
18 And these are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau's wife: duke Yeush, duke Ya'lam, duke Korach; these are the dukes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
Vanakomana vaOhoribhama, mukadzi waEsau, vaiva: madzishe Jeushi, Jaramu naKora. Aya ndiwo madzishe akabva kuna Ohoribhama mukadzi waEsau mwanasikana waAna.
19 These are the sons of Esau, and these are their dukes; this is Edom.
Ava ndivo vaiva vanakomana vaEsau (ndiye Edhomu) uye aya ndiwo madzishe avo.
20 These are the sons of Seir the Chorite, who inhabited the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
Ava ndivo vakanga vari vanakomana vaSeiri muHori, vakanga vachigara mudunhu iroro: Rotani, Shobhari, Zibheoni, Ana,
21 And Dishon, and Etzer, and Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
Dhishoni, Ezeri naDhishani. Vanakomana ava vaSeiri muEdhomu vakanga vari madzishe avaHori.
22 And the children of Lotan were Chori and Heman; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
Vanakomana vaRotani vaiva: Hori naHomami. Timina akanga ari hanzvadzi yaRotani.
23 And these were the children of Shobal: Alvan, and Manachath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
Vanakomana vaShobhari vaiva: Arivhani, Manahati, Ebhari, Shefo naOnami.
24 And these are the children of Zibeon: both Ajah, and Anah; this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
Vanakomana vaZibheoni vaiva: Ayia naAna. Uyu ndiye uya Ana akawana matsime emvura inopisa mugwenga paakanga achifudza mbongoro dzababa vake Zibheoni.
25 And these are the children of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

26 And these are the children of Dishan: Chemdan, and Eshban, and Yithran, and Cheran.
Vanakomana vaDhishoni vaiva: Hemidhani, Eshibhani, Itirani naKerani.
27 These are the children of Etzer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
Vanakomana vaEzeri vaiva: Bhirihani, Zaavhani naAkani.
28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
Vanakomana vaDhishani vaiva: Uzi naArani.
29 These are the dukes of the Chorites: duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah;
Aya ndiwo akanga ari madzishe avaHori: Rotani, Shobhari, Zibheoni, Ana,
30 Duke Dishon, duke Etzer, duke Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, after their dukes in the land of Seir.
Dhishoni, Ezeri naDhishani. Aya ndiwo akanga ari madzishe avaHori zvichienderana namarudzi avo, munyika yaSeiri.
31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

32 And there reigned in Edom Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
Bhera, mwanakomana waBheori, akava mambo weEdhomu. Guta rake rakatumidzwa zita rokuti Dhinihabha.
33 And Bela died, and there reigned in his stead Yobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
Bhera akati afa, Jobhabhi, mwanakomana waZera, aibva kuBhozira akamutevera paumambo.
34 And Yobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Teman.
Jobhabhi akati afa, Hushami aibva kunyika yavaTemani akamutevera paumambo.
35 And Chusham died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was Avith.
Hushani akati afa, Hadhadhi mwanakomana waBhedhadhi, uya akakunda Midhiani munyika yeMoabhu, akamutevera paumambo. Guta rake rakatumidzwa zita rokuti Avhiti.
36 And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Masrekah.

37 And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Shaul of Rechoboth by the river.
Samura akati afa, Shauri aibva kuRehobhoti paRwizi akamutevera paumambo.
38 And Shaul died, and there reigned in his stead Baal-chanan the son of Achbor.
Shauri akati afa, Bhaari-Hanani mwanakomana waAkibhori akamutevera paumambo.
39 And Baal-chanan the son of Achbor died, and there reigned in his stead Hadar, and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
Bhaari-Hanani mwanakomana waAkibhori akati afa, Hadhadhi akamutevera paumambo. Guta rake rakatumidzwa zita rokuti Pua, uye zita romukadzi wake rainzi Mehetabheri mwanasikana waMatiredhi, mwanasikana waMe-Zahabhi.
40 And these are the names of the dukes of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: duke Timna, duke Alvah, duke Yetheth,

41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon.
Ohoribhama, Era, Pinoni,
42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
Kenazi, Temani, Mibhiza,
43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram; these are the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: this is Esau the father of the Edom.
Magidhieri naIrami. Aya ndiwo akanga ari madzishe eEdhomu, maererano namagariro avo munyika yavakatora. Uyu ndiye Esau baba wevaEdhomu.
