Ezra 3
1 And when the seventh month drew near, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
Sa ikapito ka bulan human nakabalik ang katawhan sa Israel sa ilang mga siyudad, sa dihang nagkatigom ingon nga usa ka tawo diha Jerusalem.
2 Then arose Jeshua' the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealthiel, and his brethren, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer thereon burnt-offerings, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
Mitindog si Josue ang anak nga lalaki ni Jozadak ug ang iyang mga igsoon nga mga pari, ug si Zerubabel nga anak ni Sealtiel, ug ang iyang mga igsoong lalaki ug gitukod ang halaran sa Dios sa Israel aron sa paghalad sa mga halad sinunog sumala sa gisugo sa balaod ni Moises, ang alagad sa Dios.
3 And they erected the altar upon its foundations; for there was fear upon them because of the people of these countries; and they offered thereon burnt-offerings unto the Lord, burnt-offerings at morning and at evening.
Unya gipahimutang nila ang halaran sa tungtunganan niini, kay nangahadlok sila tungod sa mga tawo niadtong yutaa. Naghalad sila ug mga halad sinunog ngadto kang Yahweh sa kaadlawon ug sa gabii.
4 And they celebrated the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and [offered] the daily burnt-offerings by number, according to the prescribed manner, the offering of every day on its day;
Gisaulog gihapon nila ang Pista sa Balongbalong sumala sa nahisulat ug naghalad sa mga halad sinunog adlaw-adlaw sumala sa kasugoan, sa gikinahanglan sa matag adlaw.
5 And afterward the continual burnt-offering, and that for the new moons, and for all the feasts of the Lord that are hallowed, and that of every one who willingly offered a free-will offering unto the Lord.
Tungod niini, adunay mga halad sinunog adlaw-adlaw ug kausa sa usa ka bulan ug mga halad alang sa tanan nga natudlong kasaulogan ni Yahweh, lakip ang tanang mga halad nga kinabubut-on.
6 From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt-offerings unto the Lord: although the foundation of the temple of the Lord had not yet been laid.
Nagsugod sila sa paghalad sa mga halad sinunog alang kang Yahweh sa unang adlaw sa ikapito nga bulan, bisan tuod wala pa matukod ang templo.
7 Then did they give money unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and food, and drink, and oil, unto the Zidonians and Tyrians, to bring cedar-trees from the Lebanon by sea to Joppa, according to the permission of Cyrus the king of Persia for them.
Busa gihatagan nila ug plata ang mga tigtiltil ug bato ug mga panday; ug pagkaon, mainom, ug lana ngadto sa katawhan sa Sidon ug sa Tiro, aron nga sila magdala sa mga kahoy nga sidro gikan sa Lebanon paingon sa Jopa agi sa dagat, sumala sa pagtugot kanila ni Ciro, ang hari sa Persia.
8 And in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, did Zerubbabel the son of Shealthiel and Jeshua' the son of Jozadak, and the remainder of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem make a beginning; and they appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to superintend the work of the house of the Lord.
Unya sa ikaduhang bulan sa ikaduhang tuig sa ilang pag-abot ngadto sa balay sa Dios sa Jerusalem, si Sorobabel, si Jesua ang anak nga lalaki ni Josadak, ang nahibilin nga mga pari, ang mga Levita ug kadtong nakabalik gikan sa pagkabihag ngadto sa Jerusalem nagsugod na sa pagtrabaho. Gitahasan nila ang mga Levita nga may 20 ang panuigon pataas aron maoy magdumala sa buluhaton sa balay ni Yahweh.
9 Then stood forward Jeshua' with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, as one man, to superintend the workmen in the house of God; [also] the sons of Chenadad, their sons and their brethren the Levites.
Si Josue uban sa iyang mga anak nga lalaki ug iyang mga igsoong lalaki, si Kadmiel ug iyang mga anak nga lalaki, ug ang mga kaliwat ni Juda aron sa pagdumala sa katawhan nga nagtrabaho sa balay sa Dios. Kauban nila ang mga kaliwat ni Henadad, ang ilang mga kaliwat, ug ang ilang kaubanang mga Levita usab.
10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, they placed the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Assaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, after the manner of David the king of Israel.
Gipahiluna sa mga magtutukod ang patukoranan sa templo ni Yahweh. Nanindog ang mga pari nga nagsul-ob sa parianong bisti nga may trumpeta, ug ang mga Levita, mga anak ni Asaf, aron pagdayeg kang Yahweh inubanan sa mga piyangpiyang, sumala sa sugo ni David, nga hari sa Israel.
11 And they sang responsively in praise and thanksgiving unto the Lord; because he is good, for unto everlasting endureth his kindness toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, while praising the Lord; because the foundation of the house of the Lord had been laid.
Nag-awit sila sa pagdayeg ug pagpasalamat kang Yahweh, “Maayo siya! Ang iyang matinud-anong kasabotan sa Israel molungtad sa kahangtoran.” Ang tibuok katawhan misinggit sa dakong kalipay sa pagdayeg ngadto kang Yahweh kay ang patukoranan sa templo napahimutang na.
12 But many of the priests and Levites and chiefs of the divisions, the aged, who had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice, while many, shouting for joy, raised aloud their voice:
Apan daghan sa mga pari, sa mga Levita, sa mga pangulong patriyarka ug sa mga tigulang nga tawo nga nakakita sa unang balay ang mihilak sa makusog, sa dihang kining patukoranan sa balay nahimutang na sa atubangan sa ilang panan-aw. Apan daghan ang misinggit sa kalipay uban sa pagmaya ug sa madasigong tugtog.
13 So that the people could not distinguish the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard ever so far off.
Tungod niini wala na makaila ang katawhan sa kalahian sa malipayon ug sa nagmayang tingog gikan sa tingog sa panaghilak sa mga tawo, kay naninggit man ang katawhan uban sa dakong kalipay, ug nadungog ang kasaba sa layong dapit.
