Ezra 2
1 Now these are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away into exile unto Babylon, and who returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

70 And the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the gate-keepers, and the temple-servants, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
Như vậy, các thầy tế lễ, người Lê-vi, các ca sĩ, người gác cổng, người phục dịch đền thờ và tất cả những người khác về sống tại Giê-ru-sa-lem và miền phụ cận. Các thường dân lưu đày còn lại cũng hồi hương về sống trong thành mình.
