Ezra 10
1 Now when 'Ezra prayed, and when he made his confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there gathered themselves unto him out of Israel a very large assembly of men and women and children; for the people wept exceedingly much.
Yayinda Ezra yake addu’a, yake kuma furta laifi, yana kuka, yana a durƙushe da kansa ƙasa a gaban gidan Allah, sai babban taron jama’ar Isra’ilawa, maza, mata da yara, suka taru a wurinsa. Su ma suka yi kuka mai zafi.
2 Thereupon commenced Shechanyah the son of Jechiel, of the sons of 'Elam, and said unto 'Ezra, we have indeed trespassed against our God, and have brought home strange wives of the nations of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
Sai Shekaniya ɗan Yehiyel, daga zuriyar Elam ya ce wa Ezra, “Mun yi wa Allah rashin aminci ta wurin yin auratayya da maƙwabtanmu, amma duk da haka bai yashe mutanen Isra’ila ba.
3 And now let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the direction of the Lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God: and let it be done according to the law.
Yanzu bari mu yi alkawari da Allahnmu, mu kori matan da yaransu bisa ga abin da ranka yă daɗe da sauran shugabannin da kuke girmama umarnin Allah kuka shawarce mu, bari mu yi haka bisa ga doka.
4 Arise; for this matter is obligatory upon thee; and we will be with thee: be strong, and do it.
Sai ka tashi, gama wannan hakkinka ne, za mu ba ka goyon baya. Saboda haka ka yi ƙarfin hali ka aikata shi.”
5 Then arose 'Ezra, and caused the princes of the priests, the Levites, and of all Israel, to swear to do according to this word. And they swore.
Sai Ezra ya tashi ya sa firistoci da suke shugabanni, da Lawiyawa, da dukan mutanen Isra’ila su rantse, cewa za su yi abin da aka ce. Sai suka yi rantsuwar.
6 Then arose 'Ezra from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jochanan the son of Elyashib; and he went thither without having eaten bread, or having drunk water; for he was mourning because of the trespass of the exiles.
Sa’an nan Ezra ya tashi daga gidan Allah ya tafi gidan Yehohanan ɗan Eliyashib, a can ma bai ci wani abu ba, bai sha ruwa ba domin ya ci gaba da yin baƙin cikin rashin aminci na waɗanda suka dawo daga bauta.
7 And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the exile, to gather themselves together at Jerusalem;
Aka yi shela a duk fāɗin Yahuda da Urushalima cewa dukan waɗanda suka dawo daga bauta su tattaru a Urushalima.
8 And that whosoever should not come within three days, according to the resolve of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be devoted, and himself separated from the congregation of the exiles.
Duk wanda bai zo a cikin kwana uku ba, za a washe shi, a kuma ware shi daga jama’ar da suka dawo daga bauta. Haka shugabanni da dattawa suka zartar.
9 Then were all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered together unto Jerusalem within three days: it was in the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the open place before the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and by reason of the showers of rain.
A cikin kwana uku duk mutanen Yahuda da na Benyamin suka taru a Urushalima. A ranar ashirin ga watan tara, dukan mutanen suka zauna a dandali a gaban gidan Allah cike da ɓacin rai saboda abin da ya faru da kuma ruwan da aka yi.
10 And 'Ezra the priest rose up, and said unto them, Ye have acted unfaithfully, and have brought home strange wives, to increase yet more the guiltiness of Israel.
Sai Ezra firist ya miƙe tsaye ya yi musu magana ya ce, “Kun yi rashin aminci; kun aure mata baƙi, ta haka kuka ƙara kan zunubin Isra’ila.
11 Now therefore make confession unto the Lord the God of your fathers, and do his will; and separate yourselves from the nations of the earth, and from the strange wives.
Yanzu sai ku furta zunubanku ga Ubangiji, Allahn kakanninku, ku kuma yi nufinsa. Ku raba kanku da mutanen da suke kewaye da ku, ku kuma rabu da baƙin mata.”
12 Then answered all the assembly and said with a loud voice, So be it: according to thy word it is our duty to do.
Mutanen kuwa suka tā da murya da ƙarfi suka ce, “Gaskiya ka faɗa, dole mu yi yadda ka ce,
13 But the people are many, and it is the rainy season, and we have not the strength to remain in the street, nor is this a work for one day or for two days; for we are many that have transgressed in this matter.
Amma akwai mutane da yawa, kuma lokacin damina ne; saboda haka ba za mu iya tsayawa a waje ba. Ban da haka ma, aikin nan ba na kwana ɗaya ko biyu ba ne, domin ba ƙaramin laifi muka yi ba.
14 Let however our princes stand forward for all the congregation, and let all those in our cities who have brought home strange wives come at appointed times, and with them the elders of each and every city, and its judges, until the fierce wrath of our God be turned away from us for this whole matter.
Bari shugabanninmu su yi wani abu a madadin mutane duka, sa’an nan sai duk wanda ya san ya auri baƙuwar mace a garuruwanmu, sai yă zo nan a lokacin da aka shirya tare da dattawa da alƙalan kowane gari, har sai Allah ya huce fushinsa mai zafi da yake kanmu.”
15 Only Jonathan the son of 'Assahel and Jachzeyah the son of Thikvah withstood this [proposal]: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite assisted them.
Yonatan ɗan Asahel, da Yazehiya ɗan Tikba su ne kaɗai ba su yarda da wannan shirin ba, sai Meshullam da Shabbetai Balawe kuma suka goyi bayansu.
16 And the children of the exile did so. And then were set apart 'Ezra the priest, [and] certain chiefs of the divisions, for their family divisions, and all of them [designated] by their names; and they sat down on the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.
Sai waɗanda suka dawo daga bauta suka yi yadda aka zartar. Ezra firist ya zaɓi mutane waɗanda su ne shugabannin iyalai, ɗaya daga kowane sashe, aka rubuta sunan kowannensu. A ranar ɗaya ga watan goma kuwa suka zauna don su yi binciken waɗannan abubuwa.
17 And they made an end with all, with the men that had brought home strange wives, not before the first day of the first month.
A rana ta farko ga watan farko, suka gama da bincike duk waɗanda suka auri baƙin mata.
18 And there were found among the sons of the priests that had brought home strange wives, namely, of the sons of Jeshua' the son of Jozadak, and his brethren: Ma'asseyah, and Eli'ezer, and Jarib, and Gedalyah.
A cikin zuriyar firistoci, ga waɗanda suka auri mata baƙi. Daga zuriyar Yeshuwa ɗan Yozadak da’yan’uwansa, akwai Ma’asehiya, da Eliyezer, da Yarib, da Gedaliya.
19 And they gave their hand to put away their wives, and being guilty, [they offered] a ram of the flock for their trespass.
(Su ne suka miƙa hannuwansu suka nuna sun yarda su kori matansu baƙi, kowannensu kuma ya ba da rago daga cikin garkensa don a miƙa hadaya don zunubi.)
20 And of the sons of Immer: Chanani, and Zebadyah.
Daga zuriyar Immer, akwai Hanani da Zebadiya.
21 And of the sons of Charim: Ma'asseyah, and Elijah, and Shema'yah, and Jechiel, and 'Uzziyah.
Daga zuriyar Harim, akwai Ma’asehiya, Iliya, Shemahiya, Yehiyel da Uzziya.
22 And of the sons of Pashchur: Elyo'enai, Ma'asseyah. Ishmael, Nethanel, Jozabad, and El'assah.
Daga zuriyar Fashhur, akwai Eliyohenai, Ma’asehiya, Ishmayel, Netanel, Yozabad da Eleyasa.
23 Also of the Levites: Jozabad, and Shim'i, and Kelayan, the same is Kelita, Pethachyah, Judah, and Eli'ezer.
Cikin Lawiyawa, akwai Yozabad, Shimeyi, Kelaya (wato, Kelita), Fetahahiya, Yahuda, Eliyezer.
24 And of the singers, Elyashib; and of the gate-keepers, Shallum, and Telem, and Uri.
Daga mawaƙa, akwai Eliyashib. Daga masu tsaron ƙofofin haikali, akwai Shallum, Telem da Uri.
25 And of Israel: Of the sons of Par'osh, Ramyah, and Yizziyah, and Malkiyah, and Miyamin, and El'azar, and Malkiyah, and Benayah.
Ga sunayen sauran mutanen Isra’ilan da suke da wannan laifi. Daga zuriyar Farosh, akwai Ramiya, da Izziya, Malkiya, Miyamin, Eleyazar, Malkiya da Benahiya.
26 And of the sons of 'Elam; Matthanyah, Zecharyah, and Jechiel, and 'Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Eliyah.
Daga zuriyar Elam, akwai Mattaniya, Zakariya, Yehiyel, Abdi, Yeremot, da Iliya.
27 And of the sons of Zatthu: Elyo'enai, Elyashib, Matthanyah, and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and 'Aziza.
Daga iyalin Zattu, akwai Eliyohenai, Eliyashib, Mattaniya Yeremot da Zabad da Aziza.
28 And of the sons of Bebai: Jehochanan, Chananyah, Zabbai, and 'Athlai.
Daga zuriyar Bebai, akwai Yehohanan, Hananiya, Zabbai, da Atlai.
29 And of the sons of Bani: Meshullam, Malluch, and 'Adayah, Jashub, and Sheal, and Ramoth.
Daga zuriyar Bani, akwai Meshullam, Malluk, Adahiya, Yashub, Sheyal, da Ramot.
30 And of the sons of Pachath-moab: 'Adna, and Kelal, Benayah, Ma'asseyah, Matthanyah, Bezalel, and Binnui, and Menasseh.
Daga zuriyar Fahat-Mowab, akwai Adna, Kelal, Benahiya, Ma’asehiya, Mattaniya, Bezalel, Binnuyi, da Manasse.
31 And of the sons of Charim: Eli'ezer, Yishiyah, Malkiyah, Shema'yah, Shim'on,
Daga zuriyar Harim, akwai Eliyezer, Isshiya, Malkiya, Shemahiya, Simeyon,
32 Benjamin, Malluch, and Shemaryah.
Benyamin, Malluk da Shemariya.
33 Of the sons of Chashum: Matthenai, Matthathah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Jeremai, Menasseh, and Shim'i.
Daga zuriyar Hashum, akwai Mattenai, da Mattatta, Zabad, Elifelet, Irmai, Manasse, da Shimeyi.
34 Of the sons of Bani: Ma'adai, 'Amram, and Uel,
Daga zuriyar Bani, akwai Ma’adai, Amram, Yuwel,
35 Benayah, Bedeyah, Keluhu,
Benahiya, Bedeya, Keluhi,
36 Vanyah, Meremoth, Elyashib,
Baniya, Meremot, Eliyashib,
37 Matthanyah, Matthenai, and Ja'assai,
Mattaniya, Mattenai da Ya’asu.
38 And Bani, and Binnui, and Shim'i,
Daga zuriyar Binnuyi, akwai Shimeyi,
39 And Shelemyah, and Nathan, and 'Adayah,
Shelemiya, Natan, Adahiya,
40 Machnadbai, Shashai, Sharai,
Maknadebai, Shashai, Sharai,
41 'Asar'el, and Shelemyahu, Shemaryah,
Azarel, Shelemiya, da Shemariya,
42 Shallum, Amaryah, and Joseph.
Shallum da Amariya da Yusuf.
43 Of the sons of Nebo: Je'iel, Matthithyah, Zabad, Zebina, Jaddai, and Joel, Benayah.
Daga zuriyar Nebo, akwai Yehiyel, Mattitiya, Zabad, Zebina, Yaddai, Yowel da Benahiya.
44 All these had taken strange wives; and some of them had wives by whom they had children.
Dukan waɗannan sun auri baƙin mata, waɗansunsu suna da’ya’ya.
