Ezekiel 1
1 And it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was in the midst of the exiles by the river Kebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw divine visions.
௧என்னுடைய வயது முப்பதாம் வருடம் நான்காம் மாதம் ஐந்தாம் நாளாய் இருக்கும்போது, நான் கேபார் நதியின் அருகிலே சிறைப்பட்டவர்கள் நடுவில் இருக்கும்போது, நடந்தது என்னவென்றால், வானங்கள் திறந்திருக்க, நான் தேவதரிசனங்களைக் கண்டேன்.
2 On the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of the exile of king Jehoyachin,
௨அது யோயாக்கீன் ராஜாவுடைய சிறையிருப்பின் ஐந்தாம் வருடமாக இருந்தது.
3 Came the word of the Lord expressly unto Ezekiel the son of Buzi, the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Kebar; and there came upon him there the inspiration of the Lord.
௩அந்த ஐந்தாம்தேதியிலே, கல்தேயர்கள் தேசத்திலுள்ள கேபார் நதியின் அருகிலே பூசி என்னும் ஆசாரியனுடைய மகனாகிய எசேக்கியேலுக்குக் யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அங்கே யெகோவாவுடைய கரம் அவன்மேல் அமர்ந்தது.
4 And I saw, and behold, a storm-wind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a flaming fire, and a brightness was on it round about; and out of the midst of it was like the glitter of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
௪இதோ, வடக்கேயிருந்து புயல்காற்றும் பெரிய மேகமும், அதோடு கலந்த நெருப்பும் வரக்கண்டேன்; அதைச் சுற்றிலும் பிரகாசமும், அதின் நடுவில் நெருப்புக்குள்ளிருந்து வெளிப்பட்ட உருகிப்பிரகாசிக்கிற உலோகத்தின் நிறமும் உண்டாயிருந்தது.
5 And out of the midst thereof [I saw] the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: They had the likeness of a man.
௫அதின் நடுவிலிருந்து நான்கு உயிரினங்கள் தோன்றின; அவைகளின் தோற்றம் மனிதனைப்போல் இருந்தது.
6 And every one had four faces, and every one of them had four wings.
௬அவைகளில் ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் நான்கு முகங்களும், நான்கு இறக்கைகளும் இருந்தன.
7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the glitter of burnished copper.
௭அவைகளுடைய கால்கள் நிமிர்ந்த கால்களாக இருந்தன; அவைகளுடைய உள்ளங்கால்கள் கன்றுக்குட்டியின் உள்ளங்கால்களுக்கு ஒப்பாக இருந்தன; அவைகள் தேய்க்கப்பட்ட வெண்கலத்தின் நிறமாக மின்னிக்கொண்டிருந்தன.
8 And hands of man [were visible] from beneath their wings on their four sides: and their faces and their wings [were alike] on all these four.
௮அவைகளுடைய இறக்கைகளின்கீழ் அவைகளின் நான்கு பக்கங்களிலும் மனிதனுடைய கைகள் இருந்தன; அந்த நான்கிற்கும் அதினதின் முகங்களும், இறக்கைகளும் உண்டாயிருந்தன.
9 Their wings were joined one to the other: they turned not about in their going; they went every one in the direction of one of their faces.
௯அவைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றின் இறக்கைகளும் மற்றதின் இறக்கைகளுடன் சேர்ந்திருந்தன; அவைகள் செல்லும்போது திரும்பாமல் ஒவ்வொன்றும் தன்தன் திசைக்கு நேர்முகமாகச் சென்றன.
10 And the likeness of their faces was the face of a man; and the face of a lion, on the right side for all four of them; and the face of an ox on the left side for all four of them; and the face of an eagle for all four of them.
௧0அவைகளுடைய முகங்களின் தோற்றமாவது, வலதுபக்கத்தில் நான்கும் மனிதனுடைய முகமும் சிங்கமுகமும், இடது பக்கத்தில் நான்கும் எருதுமுகமும் கழுகு முகமுமாக இருந்தன.
11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were spread out upward; every one had two joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
௧௧அவைகளுடைய முகங்கள் இப்படியிருக்க, அவைகளுடைய இறக்கைகள் மேலே பிரிந்திருந்தன, ஒவ்வொன்றுக்குமுள்ள இரண்டிரண்டு இறக்கைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று சேர்ந்திருந்தன; மற்ற இரண்டிரண்டு இறக்கைகள் அவைகளுடைய உடல்களை மூடின.
12 And they went every one in the direction of one of his faces: whither the spirit was directed to go, they went; they turned not about in their going.
௧௨அவைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் தன்தன் திசைக்கு நேர்முகமாகச் சென்றது; ஆவி போகவேண்டுமென்றிருந்த எந்த இடத்திற்கும் அவைகள் போயின; போகும்போது அவைகள் திரும்பிப்பார்க்கவில்லை.
13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like coals of fire, burning as with the appearance of torches; this [fire] it was which passed along between the living creatures: and a brightness was about the fire, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
௧௩உயிரினங்களுடைய தோற்றம் எப்படியிருந்ததென்றால், அவைகள் எரிகிற நெருப்புத்தழலின் தோற்றமும் தீவட்டிகளின் தோற்றமுமாக இருந்தது; அந்த நெருப்பு உயிரினங்களுக்குள்ளே உலாவிப் பிரகாசமாக இருந்தது; நெருப்பிலிருந்து மின்னல் புறப்பட்டது.
14 And the living creatures ran backward and forward like the appearance of a flash of lightning.
௧௪அந்த உயிரினங்கள் மின்னலின் தோற்றம்போல ஓடித்திரிந்தன.
15 And I looked on the living creatures, and, behold, there was one wheel upon the earth close by the living creatures, by their four front faces.
௧௫நான் அந்த உயிரினங்களைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, இதோ, பூமியில் உயிரினங்களின் அருகில் நான்கு முகங்களையுடைய ஒரு சக்கரத்தைக் கண்டேன்.
16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like the color of a chrysolite; and all four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as though it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
௧௬சக்கரங்களின் ரூபமும் அவைகளின் வேலையும் படிகப்பச்சை நிறமாக இருந்தது; அவைகள் நான்கிற்கும் ஒரேவித தோற்றம் இருந்தது; அவைகளின் ரூபமும் அவைகளின் வேலையும் சக்கரத்திற்குள் சக்கரம் இருகிறதுபோல் இருந்தது.
17 Toward their four sides they went in their going: they turned not round in their going.
௧௭அவைகள் ஓடும்போது தங்களின் நான்கு பக்கங்களிலும் ஓடும், ஓடும்போது அவைகள் திரும்புகிறதில்லை.
18 As for their circumferences, they were so high that they excited fear: and their felloes were full of eyes round about on all these four.
௧௮அவைகளின் வட்டங்கள் பயங்கர உயரமாக இருந்தன; அந்த நான்கு வட்டங்களும் சுற்றிலும் கண்களால் நிறைந்திருந்தன.
19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went near to them: and when the living creatures lifted themselves up from the earth, the wheels lifted themselves up.
௧௯அந்த உயிரினங்கள் செல்லும்போது, அந்தச் சக்கரங்கள் அவைகள் அருகே ஓடின; அந்த உயிரினங்கள் பூமியிலிருந்து எழும்பும்போது சக்கரங்களும் எழும்பின.
20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went; [for] thither was [their] spirit to go: and the wheels lifted themselves up at the same time with them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
௨0உயிரினங்களின் ஆவி போகவேண்டுமென்றிருந்த எந்த இடத்திற்கும் அவைகள் போயின; அவ்விடத்திற்கு அவைகளின் ஆவியும் போகவேண்டுமென்றிருந்தது; சக்கரங்களும் அவைகளின் அருகே எழும்பின; உயிரினங்களுடைய ஆவி சக்கரங்களில் இருந்தது.
21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those lifted themselves up from the earth, the wheels lifted themselves up at the same time with them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
௨௧அவைகள் செல்லும்போது இவைகளும் சென்றன; அவைகள் நிற்கும்போது இவைகளும் நின்றன; அவைகள் பூமியிலிருந்து எழும்பும்போது, சக்கரங்களும் அவைகள் அருகே எழும்பின; உயிரினங்களுடைய ஆவி சக்கரங்களில் இருந்தது.
22 And the likeness of a vault was over the head of the living creatures, [shining] like the glitter of the purest crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
௨௨உயிரினங்களுடைய தலைகளின்மேல் ஆச்சரியப்படத்தக்க சுடர் வீசி மின்னும் பளிங்குபோல் ஒரு மண்டலம் இருந்தது; அது அவைகளுடைய தலைகளின்மேல் உயர விரிந்திருந்தது.
23 And under the vault their wings were straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered them, and every one had two, which covered them, —[namely, ] their bodies.
௨௩மண்டலத்தின்கீழ் அவைகளுடைய இறக்கைகள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று எதிர்நேராக விரிந்திருந்தன; தங்கள்தங்கள் உடல்களை மூடிக்கொள்ளுகிற இரண்டிரண்டு இறக்கைகள் இருபக்கத்திலும் இருக்கிற ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் இருந்தன.
24 And I heard the sound of their wings, like the sound of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, when they went, the sound of [their] speech, as the noise of an army: when they stood still, they let down their wings.
௨௪அவைகள் செல்லும்போது அவைகளுடைய இறக்கைகளின் இரைச்சலைக் கேட்டேன்; அது பெருவெள்ளத்தின் இரைச்சல் போலவும், சர்வ வல்ல தேவனுடைய சத்தம் போலவும், ஒரு இராணுவத்தின் இரைச்சலைப் போன்ற ஆரவாரத்தின் சத்தம் போலவும் இருந்தது; அவைகள் நிற்கும்போது தங்களுடைய இறக்கைகளைத் தளரவிட்டிருந்தன.
25 And there was a voice from the vault that was over their head: when they stood still, they let down their wings.
௨௫அவைகள் நின்று தங்களுடைய இறக்கைகளைத் தளரவிட்டிருக்கும்போது, அவைகளுடைய தலைகளுக்கு மேலான மண்டலத்தின்மேலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தம் பிறந்தது.
26 And above the vault that was over their head was like the appearance of a sapphire-stone, the likeness of a throne: and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
௨௬அவைகளின் தலைகளுக்குமேலுள்ள மண்டலத்தின்மீதில் நீலரத்தினம்போல காட்சியளிக்கும் ஒரு சிங்காசனத்தின் தோற்றமும், அந்தச் சிங்காசனத்தின் தோற்றத்தின்மேல் மனிததோற்றத்தை போல ஒரு தோற்றமும் இருந்தது.
27 And I saw as if it were the glitter of amber, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his loins upward; and from the appearance of his loins downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
௨௭அவருடைய இடுப்பாகக் காணப்பட்டதுமுதல் மேலெல்லாம் உட்புறம் சுற்றிலும் அக்கினிமயமான உருகிப்பிரகாசிக்கிற உலோகத்தின் நிறமாக இருக்கக்கண்டேன்; அவருடைய இடுப்பாகக் காணப்பட்டதுமுதல் கீழெல்லாம் அக்கினிமயமாகவும், அதைச் சுற்றிலும் பிரகாசமாகவும் இருக்கக்கண்டேன்.
28 Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about: this was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard the voice of one that spoke.
௨௮மழைபெய்யும் நாளில் மேகத்தில் வானவில் எப்படிக் காணப்படுகிறதோ, அப்படியே சுற்றிலுமுள்ள அந்தப் பிரகாசம் காணப்பட்டது; இதுவே யெகோவாவுடைய மகிமையின் சாயலுக்குரிய தரிசனமாக இருந்தது; அதை நான் கண்டபோது முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தேன்; அப்பொழுது பேசுகிற ஒருவருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்.
