Ezekiel 40
1 In the five and twentieth year of our exile, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city had been smitten, on the selfsame day came the inspiration of the Lord upon me, and brought me thither.
No vigésimo quinto ano de nosso cativeiro, no início do ano, no décimo dia do mês, no décimo quarto ano depois que a cidade foi atingida, no mesmo dia, a mão de Yahweh estava sobre mim, e ele me trouxe para lá.
2 In the visions of God brought he me unto the land of Israel, and set me down upon a very high mount, on which there was built something like a city on the south.
Nas visões de Deus, ele me trouxe para a terra de Israel, e me colocou em uma montanha muito alta, sobre a qual havia algo como a moldura de uma cidade ao sul.
3 And when he had brought me thither, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of copper, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring-rod: and he was standing in the gate.
Ele me trouxe para lá; e, eis que havia um homem cuja aparência era como a de bronze, com uma linha de linho na mão e uma palheta medidora; e ele ficou no portão.
4 And the man spoke unto me, Son of man, behold with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and direct thy heart unto all that I am about to show thee; for in order to show it unto thee art thou brought hither: tell all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
O homem me disse: “Filho do homem, vê com teus olhos, e ouve com teus ouvidos, e põe teu coração em tudo o que eu te mostrar; pois tu foste trazido aqui para que eu possa mostrá-los a ti”. Declarai tudo o que vedes à casa de Israel”.
5 And behold there was a wall on the outside of the house all round about, and in the man's hand was a measuring-rod of six cubits long by the cubit which was a hand's breadth longer than usual; and he measured the breadth of the building, one rod, and the height, one rod.
Eis que havia uma parede no exterior da casa por toda parte, e na mão do homem uma palheta medindo seis cúbitos de comprimento, de um côvado e uma largura de mão cada um. Então ele mediu a espessura do prédio, uma palheta; e a altura, uma palheta.
6 Then came he unto the gate which looked in the direction toward the east, and went up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod in breadth, and the other threshold one rod in breadth.
Então ele chegou ao portão que olha para o leste, e subiu suas escadas. Ele mediu a soleira do portão, uma palheta de largura; e a outra soleira, uma palheta de largura.
7 And every cell was one rod long, and one rod broad; and between the cells were five cubits: and the threshold of the gate near by the porch of the gate within was one rod.
Cada portão tinha uma palheta de comprimento e uma palheta de largura. Entre as pousadas havia cinco côvados. A soleira do portão junto ao alpendre do portão em direção à casa era uma palheta.
8 He measured also the porch of the gate within, one rod.
Ele mediu também a varanda do portão em direção à casa, uma palheta.
9 Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits, and its door-posts, two cubits: and the porch of the gate was inward.
Então ele mediu a varanda do portão, oito côvados; e seus postes, dois côvados; e a varanda do portão estava em direção à casa.
10 And the cells of the gate in the eastern direction were three on this side, and three on that side, one measure was for all the three; and there was one measure for the door-posts on this side and on that side.
As salas laterais do portão ao leste eram três deste lado, e três deste lado. As três eram de uma medida. Os postes tinham uma medida deste lado e outra deste lado.
11 And he measured the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits, [and] the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.
Ele mediu a largura da abertura do portão, dez côvados; e o comprimento do portão, treze côvados;
12 And there was a space before the cells of one cubit on this side, and one cubit space was there on that side: and every cell was of six cubits on this side, and of six cubits on that side.
e uma borda antes das pousadas, um côvado deste lado, e uma borda, um côvado daquele lado; e as salas laterais, seis côvados deste lado, e seis côvados daquele lado.
13 And he measured the gate from the roof of [one] cell to the roof of [another], in breadth five and twenty cubits, one door being against [the other] door.
Ele mediu a porta do telhado de um lado ao telhado do outro, uma largura de vinte e cinco côvados, porta contra porta.
14 And he made door-posts of sixty cubits, and around the door-posts the court and the gate all round about.
Ele também fez postes, sessenta côvados; e a quadra chegou até os postes, ao redor do portão.
15 And the height of the gate of the entrance as also the height of the porch of the inner gate was fifty cubits.
Da frente do portão, na entrada à frente da varanda interna do portão, havia cinqüenta côvados.
16 And there were narrow windows in the cells, and by their door-posts within the gate all round about, and likewise in the porches: and windows were all round about inward; and on each door post were palm-shaped [capitals].
There eram janelas fechadas para as salas laterais, e para seus postes dentro do portão ao redor, e também para os arcos. As janelas estavam ao redor para dentro. As palmeiras estavam em cada poste.
17 Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.
Depois ele me trouxe para a corte externa. Eis que havia salas e um pavimento feito para a quadra ao redor. Trinta quartos estavam na calçada.
18 And the pavement by the side of the gates was all along the whole length of the gates: this was the lower pavement.
O pavimento estava ao lado dos portões, correspondendo ao comprimento dos portões, até mesmo o pavimento inferior.
19 Then measured he the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court, without, one hundred cubits, eastward and northward.
Then ele mediu a largura desde a frente do portão inferior até a frente da quadra interna externa, cem côvados, tanto no leste quanto no norte.
20 And the gate of the outer court that looked in a northern direction, he measured after its length, and its breadth.
Ele mediu o comprimento e a largura do portão da quadra externa que está voltada para o norte.
21 And its cells were three on this side and three on that side; and its door-posts and its porches were after the measure of the first gate: fifty cubits was its length, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.
As pousadas dele eram três deste lado e três deste lado. Suas colunas e seus arcos eram os mesmos que a medida do primeiro portão: seu comprimento era de cinqüenta cúbitos, e a largura de vinte e cinco cúbitos.
22 And its windows, and its porches, and their palm-shaped capitals, were after the measure of the gate that looked in an eastern direction: and by seven steps did they go up unto it, and to its porches which were before them.
Suas janelas, seus arcos e suas palmeiras eram as mesmas que a medida do portão que está voltado para o leste. Eles subiram até ele por sete degraus. Seus arcos estavam diante deles.
23 And the gates of the inner court were opposite the gates on the north, and on the east: and he measured from gate to gate one hundred cubits.
There era um portão para a quadra interna voltado para o outro portão, no norte e no leste. Ele media cem côvados de porta em porta.
24 After that he led me forth to the south side, and behold there was a gate on the south side: and he measured its door-posts and its porches after these measures.
Ele me conduziu em direção ao sul; e eis que havia um portão em direção ao sul. Ele mediu seus postes e seus arcos de acordo com estas medidas.
25 And there were windows in it and in its porches all round about, like the other windows: it was fifty cubits in length, and in breadth five and twenty cubits.
There eram janelas nele e em seus arcos ao redor, como as outras janelas: o comprimento era de cinqüenta côvados, e a largura de vinte e cinco côvados.
26 And by seven steps was the ascent to it, and to its porches which were before them; and it had palm-shaped capitals, one on this side, and another on that side, upon its door-posts.
There eram sete degraus para subir até ele, e seus arcos estavam diante deles. Tinha palmeiras, uma deste lado, e outra deste lado, em seus postes.
27 And there was a gate in the inner court on the south side: and he measured from gate to gate on the south side one hundred cubits.
There era um portão para o pátio interno, em direção ao sul. Ele media cem côvados de porta em porta, em direção ao sul.
28 And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate after these measures;
Depois ele me trouxe para a corte interna pelo portão sul. Ele mediu o portão sul de acordo com estas medidas;
29 And its cells, and its door-posts, and its porches were after these measures; and there were windows in it and in its porches all round about: it was fifty cubits in length, and in breadth five and twenty cubits.

30 And arched passages were all round about, five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.
There eram arcos ao redor, com vinte e cinco cúbitos de comprimento e cinco cúbitos de largura.
31 And its porches were toward the outer court; and palm-shaped capitals were upon its door-posts: and its ascent was by eight steps.
Its os arcos estavam em direção à quadra externa. As palmeiras estavam em seus postes. A subida até ele tinha oito degraus.
32 And he brought me into the inner court on the east side; and he measured the gate after these measures;
Ele me trouxe para a corte interna em direção ao leste. Ele mediu o portão de acordo com estas medidas;
33 And its cells and its door-posts, and its porches, were according to these measures; and there were windows in it and in its porches all round about: its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.
com seus alojamentos, seus postes e seus arcos, de acordo com estas medidas. Havia janelas dentro dele e em seus arcos ao redor. Tinha cinqüenta cúbitos de comprimento, e vinte e cinco cúbitos de largura.
34 And its porches were toward the outward court; and palm-shaped capitals were upon its door-posts, on this side, and on that side: and by eight steps was the ascent to it.

35 And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured it after these measures;
Ele me levou ao portão norte e mediu-o de acordo com estas medidas -
36 Its cells, its door-posts, and its porches; and the windows in it were all round about: its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.
seus alojamentos, seus postes e seus arcos. Havia janelas em toda a sua volta. O comprimento era de cinqüenta côvados e a largura de vinte e cinco côvados.
37 And its door-posts were toward the outer court; and palm-shaped capitals were upon its door-posts, on this side, and on that side: and by eight steps was the ascent to it.
Its os postes estavam em direção à quadra externa. As palmeiras estavam em seus postes deste lado e daquele lado. A subida até ela tinha oito degraus.
38 And there was a chamber with its door by the door-posts of the gates, where they washed off the burnt-offerings.
Uma sala com sua porta estava junto aos postes nos portões. Lá eles lavaram a oferta queimada.
39 And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slaughter thereon the burnt-offerings and the sin-offerings and the trespass-offerings.
Na varanda do portão havia duas mesas deste lado e duas mesas deste lado, nas quais se matava a oferta queimada, a oferta pelo pecado, e a oferta pela transgressão.
40 And at the side without [the porch], as one went up to the entrance of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side of the porch of the gate were two tables;
De um lado do lado de fora, ao subir para a entrada do portão em direção ao norte, havia duas mesas; e do outro lado, que pertenciam ao alpendre do portão, havia duas mesas.
41 Four tables being on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, eight tables, whereupon they slaughtered [the sacrifices].
Quatro mesas estavam deste lado, e quatro mesas deste lado, ao lado do portão: oito mesas, nas quais eles matavam os sacrifícios.
42 And there were four tables of hewn stone for the burnt-offerings, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon they laid the instruments wherewith they slaughtered the burnt-offerings and the sacrifices.
Havia quatro mesas de pedra cortada para o holocausto, um côvado e meio de comprimento, um côvado e meio de largura, e um côvado de altura. Eles colocaram os instrumentos com os quais mataram o holocausto e o sacrifício sobre eles.
43 And hooks, a hand long, were fastened within all round about: and on the tables was placed the flesh of the offerings.
Os ganchos, uma largura de mão longa, foram fixados em todos os lados. A carne da oferenda estava sobre as mesas.
44 And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their front was toward the south side: one was at the side of the east gate having the front toward the north side.
Fora do portão interno havia salas para os cantores na quadra interna, que ficava ao lado do portão norte. Eles se dirigiam para o sul. Um ao lado do portão leste, voltado para o norte.
45 And he spoke unto me, This chamber, the front of which is toward the south, is for the priests who have the charge of the house.
Ele me disse: “Esta sala, que está voltada para o sul, é para os padres que cumprem o dever da casa”.
46 And the chamber, the front of which is toward the north, is for the priests who have the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who come near, from among the sons of Levi, to the Lord to minister unto him.
A sala que está voltada para o norte é para os sacerdotes que cumprem o dever do altar. Estes são os filhos de Zadok, que, dentre os filhos de Levi, se aproximam de Yahweh para ministrar a ele”.
47 So he measured the court, in length one hundred cubits, and in breadth one hundred cubits, foursquare: and the altar [stood] before the house.
Ele mediu a corte, cem côvados de comprimento e cem côvados de largura, quadrados. O altar estava diante da casa.
48 And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each door-post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.
Depois ele me levou ao alpendre da casa, e mediu cada posto do alpendre, cinco côvados deste lado, e cinco côvados daquele lado. A largura do portão era de três côvados deste lado e três côvados daquele lado.
49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, together with the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the door-posts, one on this side, and another on that side.
O comprimento do pórtico era de vinte côvados e a largura de onze côvados, mesmo pelos degraus pelos quais eles subiam até ele. Havia pilares junto aos postes, um deste lado, e outro deste lado.
