Ezekiel 40

1 In the five and twentieth year of our exile, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city had been smitten, on the selfsame day came the inspiration of the Lord upon me, and brought me thither.

No vigésimo quinto ano de nosso cativeiro, no princípio do ano, aos dez do mês, aos catorze anos depois que a cidade foi ferida, naquele mesmo dia veio sobre mim a mão do SENHOR, e me levou para lá.

2 In the visions of God brought he me unto the land of Israel, and set me down upon a very high mount, on which there was built something like a city on the south.

Em visões de Deus me levou à terra de Israel, e me pôs sobre um monte muito alto, sobre o qual havia como um edifício de uma cidade ao sul.

3 And when he had brought me thither, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of copper, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring-rod: and he was standing in the gate.

E havendo me levado ali, eis um homem cuja aparência era como a aparência de bronze, e [tinha] um cordel de linho em sua mão, e uma cana de medir; e ele estava em pé à porta.

4 And the man spoke unto me, Son of man, behold with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and direct thy heart unto all that I am about to show thee; for in order to show it unto thee art thou brought hither: tell all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

E aquele homem me falou: Filho do homem, olha com teus olhos, ouve com teus ouvidos, e põe teu coração em tudo quanto eu te mostrar, pois foste trazido aqui para que eu te mostrasse. Anuncia, pois, à casa de Israel tudo o que vires.

5 And behold there was a wall on the outside of the house all round about, and in the man's hand was a measuring-rod of six cubits long by the cubit which was a hand's breadth longer than usual; and he measured the breadth of the building, one rod, and the height, one rod.

E eis, um muro fora do templo ao redor; e na mão daquele homem uma cana de medir de seis côvados, [cada côvado] de um côvado e um palmo; e mediu a largura do edifício de uma cana, e a altura, de outra cana.

6 Then came he unto the gate which looked in the direction toward the east, and went up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod in breadth, and the other threshold one rod in breadth.

Então ele veio à porta que estava voltada para o oriente, subiu por seus degraus, e mediu o umbral da porta de uma cana de largura, e o outro umbral de outra cana de largura.

7 And every cell was one rod long, and one rod broad; and between the cells were five cubits: and the threshold of the gate near by the porch of the gate within was one rod.

E [cada] câmara tinha uma cana de comprimento, e uma cana de largo; e entre as câmaras eram cinco côvados; e o umbral da porta junto ao pórtico da porta por dentro, uma cana.

8 He measured also the porch of the gate within, one rod.

Também mediu o pórtico da porta por dentro, uma cana.

9 Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits, and its door-posts, two cubits: and the porch of the gate was inward.

Então mediu o pórtico da porta, de oito côvados, e seus pilares de dois côvados; e o pórtico da porta por dentro.

10 And the cells of the gate in the eastern direction were three on this side, and three on that side, one measure was for all the three; and there was one measure for the door-posts on this side and on that side.

E as câmaras pequenas da porta do oriente eram três de um lado e três do outro; todas as três de uma mesma medida; também os pilares de um lado e do outro [tinham] uma mesma medida.

11 And he measured the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits, [and] the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

E mediu a largura da entrada da porta, de dez côvados; o comprimento do portal era de treze côvados.

12 And there was a space before the cells of one cubit on this side, and one cubit space was there on that side: and every cell was of six cubits on this side, and of six cubits on that side.

E o espaço de diante das câmaras pequenas era de um côvado de um lado, e de um côvado do outro lado; e cada câmara tinha seis côvados de um lado, e seis côvados do outro.

13 And he measured the gate from the roof of [one] cell to the roof of [another], in breadth five and twenty cubits, one door being against [the other] door.

Então mediu a porta desde o teto da uma câmara pequena até o teto da outra, vinte e cinco côvados de largura, porta contra porta.

14 And he made door-posts of sixty cubits, and around the door-posts the court and the gate all round about.

Também fez [medição com] os pilares de sessenta côvados, o pilar do pátio ao redor da porta.

15 And the height of the gate of the entrance as also the height of the porch of the inner gate was fifty cubits.

E desde a dianteira da porta de entrada até a dianteira do pórtico da porta interior havia cinquenta côvados.

16 And there were narrow windows in the cells, and by their door-posts within the gate all round about, and likewise in the porches: and windows were all round about inward; and on each door post were palm-shaped [capitals].

Havia também janelas estreitas nas câmaras pequenas, e em seus pilares por dentro ao redor da porta, e assim também nos pórticos; e as janelas estavam ao redor por dentro; e em [cada] poste havia palmeiras.

17 Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.

Então me levou ao átrio exterior, e eis que havia [nele] câmaras, e um pavimento feito no pátio ao redor; trinta câmaras havia naquele pavimento.

18 And the pavement by the side of the gates was all along the whole length of the gates: this was the lower pavement.

E o pavimento ao lado das portas era equivalente ao comprimento das portas ( [este era] o pavimento inferior).

19 Then measured he the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court, without, one hundred cubits, eastward and northward.

E mediu a largura desde a dianteira da porta inferior até a dianteira do pátio interior pelo lado de fora: cem côvados pelo oriente e pelo norte.

20 And the gate of the outer court that looked in a northern direction, he measured after its length, and its breadth.

E quanto à porta que estava voltada para o norte no átrio exterior, mediu seu comprimento e sua largura.

21 And its cells were three on this side and three on that side; and its door-posts and its porches were after the measure of the first gate: fifty cubits was its length, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.

E suas câmaras pequenas eram três de um lado, e três de outro; e seus pilares e seus pórticos eram da mesma medida da primeira porta: cinquenta côvados era seu comprimento, e a largura era de vinte e cinco côvados.

22 And its windows, and its porches, and their palm-shaped capitals, were after the measure of the gate that looked in an eastern direction: and by seven steps did they go up unto it, and to its porches which were before them.

E suas janelas, e seu pórtico, e suas palmeiras, eram da medida da porta que estava voltada para o oriente; e subiam a ela por sete degraus; e seus alpendres eram diante deles.

23 And the gates of the inner court were opposite the gates on the north, and on the east: and he measured from gate to gate one hundred cubits.

E havia uma porta do pátio interior que ficava em frente da porta ao norte; e assim também [outra] ao oriente; e mediu de porta a porta cem côvados.

24 After that he led me forth to the south side, and behold there was a gate on the south side: and he measured its door-posts and its porches after these measures.

Então me levou em direção ao sul, e eis que havia uma porta para o sul; e mediu seus pilares e seu pórtico, conforme a estas medidas.

25 And there were windows in it and in its porches all round about, like the other windows: it was fifty cubits in length, and in breadth five and twenty cubits.

E também tinha janelas, assim com havia janelas no seu pórtico em redor; o comprimento era de cinquenta côvados, e a largura de vinte e cinco côvados.

26 And by seven steps was the ascent to it, and to its porches which were before them; and it had palm-shaped capitals, one on this side, and another on that side, upon its door-posts.

E suas subidas eram de sete degraus, com seu pórtico diante deles; e tinha palmeiras de um lado e do outro em seus pilares.

27 And there was a gate in the inner court on the south side: and he measured from gate to gate on the south side one hundred cubits.

Também havia uma porta no pátio interior voltada para o sul; e mediu de porta a porta para o sul, cem côvados.

28 And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate after these measures;

Então ele me levou ao pátio interior pela porta do sul; e mediu a porta do sul conforme a estas medidas.

29 And its cells, and its door-posts, and its porches were after these measures; and there were windows in it and in its porches all round about: it was fifty cubits in length, and in breadth five and twenty cubits.

E suas câmaras pequenas, e seus pilares e seu pórtico eram conforme a estas medidas; e também tinham janelas ao redor de seus alpendres; o comprimento era de cinquenta côvados, e de a largura de vinte e cinco côvados.

30 And arched passages were all round about, five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.

E o pórtico em redor era de vinte e cinco côvados de comprimento e cinco côvados de largura.

31 And its porches were toward the outer court; and palm-shaped capitals were upon its door-posts: and its ascent was by eight steps.

E seu pórtico estava no pátio externo, com palmeiras em seus pilares; e suas subidas eram de oito degraus.

32 And he brought me into the inner court on the east side; and he measured the gate after these measures;

Depois me levou ao pátio interior, para o oriente, e mediu a porta conforme a estas medidas;

33 And its cells and its door-posts, and its porches, were according to these measures; and there were windows in it and in its porches all round about: its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.

Assim como suas câmaras pequenas, seus pilares, e seu pórtico, conforme a estas medidas; e também tinha suas janelas ao redor de seu pórtico; o comprimento era de cinquenta côvados, e a largura de vinte e cinco côvados.

34 And its porches were toward the outward court; and palm-shaped capitals were upon its door-posts, on this side, and on that side: and by eight steps was the ascent to it.

E seu pórtico estava no pátio externo, com palmeiras em seus postes de um lado e do outro; e suas subidas eram de oito degraus.

35 And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured it after these measures;

Então me levou à porta do norte, e mediu conforme a estas medidas;

36 Its cells, its door-posts, and its porches; and the windows in it were all round about: its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.

Suas câmaras pequenas, seus pilares, e seus arcos, também tinham janelas ao redor; o comprimento era de cinquenta côvados, e a largura de vinte e cinco côvados.

37 And its door-posts were toward the outer court; and palm-shaped capitals were upon its door-posts, on this side, and on that side: and by eight steps was the ascent to it.

E seus pilares estavam no pátio exterior, com palmeiras em seus pilares de um lado e do outro; e suas subidas eram de oito degraus.

38 And there was a chamber with its door by the door-posts of the gates, where they washed off the burnt-offerings.

E sua câmara e sua porta estavam junto dos pilares das portas, onde lavavam o holocausto.

39 And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slaughter thereon the burnt-offerings and the sin-offerings and the trespass-offerings.

E no pórtico da porta havia duas mesas da um lado, e outras duas do outro, para nelas degolar o holocausto, o sacrifício pelo pecado, e o [sacrifício] pela culpa.

40 And at the side without [the porch], as one went up to the entrance of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side of the porch of the gate were two tables;

E ao lado de fora da subida para a entrada da porta do norte havia duas mesas; e do outro lado que estava no pórtico da porta, havia duas mesas.

41 Four tables being on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, eight tables, whereupon they slaughtered [the sacrifices].

Quatro mesas de um lado, e quatro mesas do outro lado, junto à porta; oito mesas, sobre as quais degolavam.

42 And there were four tables of hewn stone for the burnt-offerings, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon they laid the instruments wherewith they slaughtered the burnt-offerings and the sacrifices.

E as quatro mesas para o holocausto eram de pedras lavradas, de um côvado e meio de comprimento, e um côvado e meio de largura, e um côvado de altura; sobre elas eram postos os instrumentos com que degolavam a oferta de queima e o sacrifício.

43 And hooks, a hand long, were fastened within all round about: and on the tables was placed the flesh of the offerings.

E havia ganchos de um palmo, dispostos por dentro ao redor; e sobre as mesas a carne da oferta.

44 And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their front was toward the south side: one was at the side of the east gate having the front toward the north side.

E de fora da porta interior estavam as câmaras dos cantores no pátio de dentro que era do lado da porta do norte; as quais estavam voltadas para o sul; uma estava ao lado da porta do oriente que estava voltada para o norte.

45 And he spoke unto me, This chamber, the front of which is toward the south, is for the priests who have the charge of the house.

E me falou: Esta câmara que está voltada para o sul é para os sacerdotes que têm a guarda do templo.

46 And the chamber, the front of which is toward the north, is for the priests who have the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who come near, from among the sons of Levi, to the Lord to minister unto him.

Mas a câmara que está voltada para o norte é para os sacerdotes que têm a guarda do altar; estes são os filhos de Zadoque, dentre os filhos de Levi os que se achegam ao SENHOR, para o servir.

47 So he measured the court, in length one hundred cubits, and in breadth one hundred cubits, foursquare: and the altar [stood] before the house.

E mediu o pátio, cem côvados de comprimento, e cem côvados de largura, quadrado; e o altar estava diante do templo.

48 And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each door-post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

Então ele me levou ao pórtico do templo, e mediu [cada] pilar do pórtico, cinco côvados de um lado, e cinco côvados do outro; e a largura da porta [era] três côvados de um lado, e três côvados do outro.

49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, together with the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the door-posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

O comprimento do pórtico era vinte côvados, e a largura onze côvados; e era com degraus, pelos quais se subia; e havia colunas junto aos pilares, uma de um lado, e outra do outro.
