Ezekiel 36
1 But thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, O mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of the Lord.
"Du aber, Menschensohn, weissage über das Gebirge Israels und sprich: 'Ihr Berge Israels, vernehmt das Wort des Herrn!
2 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because the enemy hath said regarding you, Aha, even the ancient high-places are become ours as a possession:
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Weil über euch die Feinde sprechen: Ha! Die ewigen Höhen sind in unseren Besitz gelangt"',
3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because, even because men have made you desolate, and sought to swallow you up on every side, that ye might become a possession unto the residue of the nations, and ye are taken up as a talk for tongues, and an evil report of the people:
deshalb weissage du und sprich: 'So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Weil zum Verderben man nach euch ringsum begierig schnappte, daß ihr das Eigentum des Rests der Heiden würdet, weil ihr geworden ein Gerede und Gespräch der Völker,
4 Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of the Lord Eternal, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, to the desolate ruins, and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about:
darum, ihr Berge Israels, vernehmt das Wort des Herrn, des Herrn!"' So spricht der Herr, der Herr, zu diesen Bergen, diesen Hügeln, zu den Bächen und den Tälern und den öden Wüsten und verlaßnen Städten, die zum Schimpf und Spott dem Rest der Heiden ringsumher geworden.
5 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Idumea, that have appropriated my land unto themselves as a possession with the joy of all their heart, with derision in their soul, in order to drive it out that it may be for a prey.
Darum spricht so der Herr, der Herr: 'In meinem Feuereifer tu ich jetzo diesen Ausspruch dem Rest der Völker und ganz Edom gegenüber, die sich in wilder Herzensfreude und mit schadenfroher Seele mein Land genommen, es zu verheeren und zu plündern';
6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, In my zealousness and in my fury have I spoken, because ye have borne the reproach of the nations:
weissag deshalb dem Lande Israel und sprich: 'Von diesen Bergen, Hügeln, Bächen, Tälern spricht der Herr, der Herr: "In meinem Eifer und im Grimme tu ich nun den Ausspruch, weil ihr den Hohn der Heiden tragen müßt";
7 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I have indeed lifted up my hand, that the nations who are round about you— these shall bear their shame.
darum spricht so der Herr, der Herr: "Ich schwöre mit erhobner Hand: Fürwahr, die Heidenvölker um euch her, sie sollen ihre Schande tragen müssen.
8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall send forth your boughs, and your fruit shall ye bear for my people Israel, for they are near at hand to come.
Ihr aber, Berge Israels, sollt euer Laub jetzt sprossen lassen und eure Früchte tragen für mein Volk, für Israel. Sie kommen heim in Bälde.
9 For, behold, I will be for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and ye shall be sown;
Ich will mich abermals zu euch begeben, mich zu euch wenden; ihr sollt bebaut, besäet werden.
10 And I will multiply upon you men, all the house of Israel— altogether; and the cities shall be inhabited again, and the ruins shall be rebuilt;
Die Menschen werde ich auf euch vermehren, das ganze Haus von Israel; die Städte sollen dann bewohnt und aufgebaut die öden Plätze werden.
11 And I will multiply upon you men and beast, and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your old estates, and will do more good unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Und Vieh und Menschen mehre ich auf euch; sie sollen zahlreich, fruchtbar werden. Ich lasse euch bewohnt sein wie in eurer letzten Zeit und Gutes euch erweisen mehr als je in eurer allerersten Zeit, daß ihr erfahrt: Ich bin der Herr.
12 Yea, I will cause to walk upon you men, even my people Israel, and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be unto them as an inheritance, and thou shalt not any more henceforth cast them out.
Ich lasse wieder Menschen euch betreten, du Israel, mein Volk, und diese werden in Besitz dich nehmen. Du dienst ihnen zum Eigentum, beraubst sie fortan nimmermehr der Kinder."'
13 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast been one that hath ever cast out thy nations:
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Weil man zu euch gesagt: "Du bist ja eine Menschenfresserin und machst selbst kinderlos dein Volk",
14 Therefore shalt thou not devour up men any more, and thy nations shalt thou not cast out any more, saith the Lord Eternal.
deshalb frißt du nicht Menschen mehr und machst dein Volk nicht kinderlos.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
15 And I will not let be heard against thee any more the reproach of the nations, and the disgrace of the people shalt thou not bear any more, and thy nations shalt thou not cast out any more, saith the Lord Eternal.
'Ich lasse dich den Hohn der Heiden nicht mehr hören. Den Spott der Völker sollst du nicht mehr weiter tragen, dein Volk nicht kinderlos mehr machen.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
16 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
17 Son of man, the house of Israel, when they dwelt in their own land, defiled it through their way and through their doings: like the uncleanness of a woman in her separation was their way before me.
'Hör, Menschensohn! Einst wohnte das Haus Israel in seinem Land; doch es befleckte dies durch seinen Wandel, seine Taten. Gleichwie ein unrein Weib, so unrein war vor mir sein Wandel.
18 And I poured out my fury over them because of the blood that they had shed in the land, and because through their idols they had polluted it;
Da goß ich meinen Ingrimm über sie, des Blutes wegen, das im Lande sie vergossen, und ihrer Götzen wegen, durch die sie sich bedeckten.
19 And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings did I judge them.
Und ich versprengte sie unter die Heidenvölker; sie wurden in die Länder hin versprengt. Entsprechend ihrem Wandel, ihren Taten, sprach ich über sie das Urteil aus.
20 And when they were come unto the nations, whither they were gone, they profaned my holy name; because they said of them, These are the people of the Lord, and out of his land are they gone forth.
Sie kamen zu den Heidenvölkern. Wohin sie aber kamen, entweihten sie dort meinen heiligen Namen, da man von ihnen sagte: "Das Volk des Herrn sind sie, und dennoch mußten sie aus seinem Lande fort."'
21 But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they were gone.
Da tat's mir leid um meinen heiligen Namen, den bei der Heidenwelt Israels Haus entweihte, wohin sie immer kamen.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Not for your sake do I this, O house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye are gone.
Deshalb sprich so zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Haus Israel, um euretwillen tu ich's nicht, nein, nur um meines heiligen Namens willen, den ihr entweiht habt bei der Heidenwelt, zu der ihr kamt.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord Eternal, when I will be sanctified through you before your eyes.
Nun will ich meinen großen Namen heiligen, der bei den Heiden ward entweiht, den ihr bei ihnen habt entweiht, auf daß die Heidenwelt erkenne: Ich bin der Herr,' ein Spruch des Herrn, wenn ich vor ihren Augen mich als Heiligen erzeige.
24 And I will take you from among the nations, and I will gather you out of all the countries, and I will bring you unto your own land.
Ich hole aus den Heidenvölkern euch und sammle euch aus allen Ländern und bringe euch wieder in die Heimat.
25 And I will sprinkle upon you clean water, and ye shall be clean: from all your impurities, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Und ich besprenge euch mit reinem Wasser, daß rein ihr werdet. Von allen euren Unreinheiten und allen euren Götzen mache ich euch rein.
26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will remove the heart of stone out of your body, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
Ich gebe euch ein neues Herz und senke einen neuen Geist in euer Inneres. Das Herz von Stein entnehm ich eurem Leib und gebe euch ein Herz von Fleisch.
27 And my spirit I will put within you, and I will cause that you shall walk in my statutes, and that my ordinances ye shall keep, and do them.
Ich senke ein in euer Innres meinen Geist und mache euch zu Leuten, die nach meinen Satzungen sich richten und meine Vorschriften beachten und befolgen.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be unto me for a people, and I truly will be unto you as a God.
Dann dürft ihr in dem Lande wohnen bleiben, das euren Vätern ich verliehen. Ihr sollt mein Schutzvolk werden, und ich will euer Schutzgott sein.
29 And I will save you from all kinds of your impurities; and I will call unto the corn, and increase it, and I will not lay famine upon you.
Und ich befreie euch von allen euren Unreinheiten; ich rufe das Getreide her und mehre es. Ich bringe keine Hungersnot mehr über euch.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the trees, and the products of the field: in order that ye may receive no more reproach on account of famine among the nations.
Ich laß der Bäume Früchte wachsen und in Menge den Ertrag des Feldes, damit ihr bei den Heiden nicht die Schmach des Hungers mehr ertragen müßt.
31 Then shall ye remember your ways that they were evil, and your doings that were not good; and ye shall loathe yourselves on account of your iniquities and on account of your abominations.
Alsdann erinnert ihr euch eures bösen Wandels und eurer Taten, die nicht gut gewesen. Ihr werdet Ekel vor euch selbst bekommen um eurer Sünden, eurer Greuel willen.
32 Not for your sake do I this, saith the Lord Eternal, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded because of your ways, O house of Israel.
Nicht euretwegen tu ich das'; ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn. 'Dies sei euch unverhohlen! Schämt euch und werdet rot vor eurem Wandel, Haus Israel!'
33 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, On the day of my cleansing you from all your iniquities, when I cause the cities to be inhabited, and when the ruins are built up,
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Wenn ich von allen euren Sünden euch gereinigt, die Städte wieder hab' erbauen lassen, und wenn zerstörte Orte werden neu gebaut
34 And when the desolate land is tilled, instead that it was a waste before the eyes of every passer by:
und angebaut das Ödland sein wird, statt wie zuvor wüst dazuliegen vor jedes Wandrers Blicken,
35 Then shall they say, This land, that was desolate, is become like the garden of 'Eden; and the cities that were ruined, and desolate, and broken down, are become fortified, and inhabited.
dann wird man sagen: "Dieses vormals wüste Land ist jetzt dem Garten Edens gleich geworden. Die wüsten, öden und zerstörten Städte werden jetzt bewohnt."
36 And the nations that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord have built up the broken-down [places], have planted the desolate [land]: I the Lord have spoken this, and have done it.
Da sehen rings um euch die Heidenvölker, die übrig sind geblieben, ein, daß ich, der Herr, es bin, der das Zerstörte wieder aufgebaut und das Verheerte wieder angepflanzt, daß ich, der Herr, es bin, der dies versprochen und getan.'
37 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Also in this will I yet suffer myself to be entreated of by the house of Israel, to do it for them, I will increase them with men like flocks [in multitude].
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Auch darum laß ich mich vom Hause Israel erbitten, und ich erfülle ihnen, daß ich an Menschen sie vermehre, zahlreich wie die Herden.
38 As the flocks of the holy things, as the flocks of Jerusalem on her appointed feasts, so shall the ruined cities be full of flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
So wie von heiligen Schafen, so wie Jerusalem in Zeiten seiner Feste voll von Schafen ist, so sollen auch die öden Städte voll von Menschenherden werden, daß sie erfahren, daß ich bin der Herr."
