< Ezekiel 35 >
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá:
2 Son of man, set thy face against the mountain of Se'ir, and prophecy against it,
“Ọmọ ènìyàn kọjú sí òkè Seiri; sọtẹ́lẹ̀ sí i,
3 And say unto it, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against thee, O mountain of Se'ir, and I will stretch out my hand over thee, and I will render thee desolate and wasted.
kí o sì sọ wí pé, ‘Èyí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Èmí lòdì sí ọ, òkè Seiri, Èmi yóò sì na ọwọ́ mi síta ní ìlòdì sí ọ, èmi yóò sì mú kí ó di ahoro.
4 Thy cities will I lay in ruins, and thou thyself shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
Èmi yóò pa àwọn ìlú rẹ run, ìwọ yóò sì di ahoro. Nígbà náà ni ìwọ yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.
5 Because thou hast had an undying hatred, and didst surrender the children of Israel to the power of the sword, at the time of their calamity, at the time of the iniquity of the end:
“‘Nítorí ìwọ dá ààbò bo ọ̀tẹ̀ àtayébáyé, tí ìwọ sì fi Israẹli lé idà lọ́wọ́, ní àsìkò ìdààmú wọn, ní àsìkò tí ìjìyà wọn dé góńgó,
6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, I will surely let thy blood flow, and blood shall pursue thee; since thou didst not hate blood-shedding, so shall blood pursue thee.
nítorí náà bi mo ti wà láààyè, ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí, èmi yóò fi ọ kalẹ̀ fún ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀ yóò sì lépa rẹ. Níwọ́n ìgbà tí ìwọ kò ti kórìíra ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀ yóò sì lépa rẹ.
7 Thus will I change the mountain of Se'ir into a desolate land and a waste, and I will cut off from it him that travelleth forward and backward.
Èmi yóò mú kí òkè Seiri di ahoro; ọ̀fọ̀ gbogbo àwọn tí ó ń lọ tí ó ń bọ̀ ní èmi yóò gé kúrò lára rẹ.
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain: as regardeth thy hills, and thy valleys, and all thy ravines, in them shall fall those that are slain by the sword.
Èmi yóò fi àwọn tí a pa kún orí òkè rẹ, àwọn tí a fi idà pa yóò ṣubú ní orí òkè rẹ, àti ní àárín àwọn òkè rẹ.
9 Into perpetual desolations will I change thee, and thy cities shall not be restored: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Èmi yóò mú kí ó di ahoro títí láé, kò ní sí olùgbé ní ìlú rẹ. Nígbà náà ni ìwọ yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.
10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall indeed be mine, and we will take possession thereof; whereas the Lord was there:
“‘Nítorí tí ìwọ sọ pé, “Àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè àti ilẹ̀ méjì wọ̀nyí yóò jẹ́ tiwa, àwa yóò sì gbà wọ́n ní ìní,” bí ó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé, Èmi Olúwa wà níbẹ̀,
11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thy anger, and according to thy envy which thou didst use out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I judge thee.
nítorí náà níwọ̀n ìgbà tí mo ti wà láààyè, ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí, èmi yóò hùwà sí ọ ní ìbámu pẹ̀lú ìbínú àti owú tí o fihàn nínú ìkórìíra rẹ sí wọn, èmi yóò fi ara mi hàn ní àárín wọn, nígbà tí mo bá ṣe ìdájọ́ rẹ.
12 And thou shalt know that I am the Lord: I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given unto us to consume them.
Nígbà náà ni ìwọ yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi Olúwa ti gbọ́ gbogbo ohun ẹ̀gàn tí ìwọ ti sọ lòdì sí àwọn òkè Israẹli náà. Ìwọ wí pé, “A sọ wọ́n di ahoro, a sì fi wọ́n fún wa láti run.”
13 And ye boasted greatly against me with your mouth, and have multiplied against me your words: I have indeed heard them.
Ìwọ lérí sí mi, ó sì sọ̀rọ̀ lòdì sí mí láìsí ìdádúró, èmi sì gbọ́ ọ.
14 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
Èyí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Nígbà tí gbogbo ayé bá ń yọ̀, èmi yóò mú kí ó di ahoro.
15 As thou didst rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was made desolate: so will I do unto thee; desolate shalt thou be, O mountain of Se'ir, and all Idumea—altogether; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Nítorí pé ìwọ ń yọ̀ nígbà tí ìní ilé Israẹli di ahoro, bẹ́ẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ ni èmi yóò ṣe hùwà sí ọ. Ìwọ yóò di ahoro, ìwọ òkè Seiri, ìwọ àti gbogbo ará Edomu. Nígbà náà, wọn yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.’”
