< Ezekiel 35 >
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Ningĩ kiugo kĩa Jehova nĩkĩanginyĩrĩire, ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ:
2 Son of man, set thy face against the mountain of Se'ir, and prophecy against it,
“Mũrũ wa mũndũ, erekeria ũthiũ waku Kĩrĩma gĩa Seiru: kĩrathĩre ũhoro wa gũgĩũkĩrĩra,
3 And say unto it, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against thee, O mountain of Se'ir, and I will stretch out my hand over thee, and I will render thee desolate and wasted.
ũkĩĩre atĩrĩ: ‘Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: Wee Kĩrĩma gĩa Seiru, nĩngũgũũkĩrĩra, na ngũtambũrũkĩrie guoko gwakwa nginya ndũme wanangĩke ũkire ihooru.
4 Thy cities will I lay in ruins, and thou thyself shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
Nĩngatũma matũũra maku manangwo nawe nĩũgaakira ihooru. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩũkamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.
5 Because thou hast had an undying hatred, and didst surrender the children of Israel to the power of the sword, at the time of their calamity, at the time of the iniquity of the end:
“‘Tondũ wee-rĩ, kuuma o matukũ ma tene nĩũtũũrĩtie muku na andũ a Isiraeli na ũkĩmaneana mooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora, rĩrĩa maarĩ na mũtino, o hĩndĩ ĩrĩa iherithia rĩao rĩehĩrĩire,
6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, I will surely let thy blood flow, and blood shall pursue thee; since thou didst not hate blood-shedding, so shall blood pursue thee.
nĩ ũndũ ũcio, Mwathani Jehova oigĩte atĩrĩ, ti-itherũ o ta ũrĩa niĩ ndũũraga muoyo-rĩ, nĩngakũneana ũitwo thakame, nayo nĩĩgathingatana nawe. Kuona atĩ ndwamenire ũiti wa thakame-rĩ, ũiti wa thakame nĩũgaathingatana nawe.
7 Thus will I change the mountain of Se'ir into a desolate land and a waste, and I will cut off from it him that travelleth forward and backward.
Nakĩo Kĩrĩma gĩa Seiru nĩngatũma kĩanangwo gĩkire ihooru, na njũrage arĩa othe mokaga kuo na makoimagara.
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain: as regardeth thy hills, and thy valleys, and all thy ravines, in them shall fall those that are slain by the sword.
Nĩngaiyũria irĩma ciaku na arĩa moragĩtwo; arĩa moragĩtwo na rũhiũ rwa njora makaagũa tũrĩma-inĩ twaku, na ituamba-inĩ ciaku, o na mĩkuru-inĩ yaku yothe.
9 Into perpetual desolations will I change thee, and thy cities shall not be restored: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Nĩngatũma ũtũũre ũkirĩte ihooru nginya tene, namo matũũra maku matigatũũrwo. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩũkamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.
10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall indeed be mine, and we will take possession thereof; whereas the Lord was there:
“‘Tondũ uugĩte atĩrĩ, “Ndũrĩrĩ ici cierĩ na mabũrũri maya nĩigatuĩka ciitũ, na tũciĩgwatĩre,” o na gwatuĩka atĩ niĩ Jehova ndaarĩ kuo,
11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thy anger, and according to thy envy which thou didst use out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I judge thee.
12 And thou shalt know that I am the Lord: I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given unto us to consume them.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩũkamenya atĩ niĩ Jehova nĩnjiguĩte maũndũ mothe ma kĩnyararo marĩa warĩtie ma gũũkĩrĩra irĩma cia bũrũri wa Isiraeli. Woigire atĩrĩ, “Nĩcianangĩtwo na ikaneanwo kũrĩ ithuĩ tũcitambuure.”
13 And ye boasted greatly against me with your mouth, and have multiplied against me your words: I have indeed heard them.
Nĩmwerahire na mũkĩaria maũndũ ma kũnjũkĩrĩra mũtekwĩgirĩrĩria na niĩ ngĩigua maũndũ macio.
14 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: Rĩrĩa thĩ yothe ĩgaakorwo ĩgĩcanjamũka, nĩngatũma ũkire ihooru.
15 As thou didst rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was made desolate: so will I do unto thee; desolate shalt thou be, O mountain of Se'ir, and all Idumea—altogether; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Tondũ nĩwakenire rĩrĩa igai rĩa andũ a nyũmba ya Isiraeli rĩanangirwo rĩgĩkira ihooru-rĩ, ũguo noguo ngagwĩka o nawe. Wee Kĩrĩma gĩa Seiru, nĩũgakirio ihooru, wee mwene o na bũrũri wa Edomu wothe. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
