Ezekiel 30
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Wail ye, Woe unto the day!
Filho do homem, profetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Gritai: Ai daquele dia!
3 For nigh is the day, yea nigh is the day of the Lord; a cloudy day; the time of the nations' [misfortune] shall it be.
Porque perto está o dia, perto está o dia do Senhor; dia de nuvens; será o tempo das nações.
4 And the sword shall come into Egypt, and there shall be trembling in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt, and when they take away its multitude, and its foundations shall be broken down.
E a espada virá ao Egito, e haverá grande dor em Cuxe, quando caírem os mortos no Egito; e tomarão sua multidão, e serão destruídos seus fundamentos.
5 Ethiopia, and Put, and Lud, and all the confederates, and Cub, and all the men of the leagued land, shall fall with them by the sword.
Cuxe, Pute, Lude, e todo o povo misturado, e Cube, e os filhos da terra do pacto cairão com eles à espada.
6 Thus hath said the Lord, Yea, there shall fall those that uphold Egypt; and there shall come down the pride of her strength: from Migdol to Seveneh shall they fall in her by the sword, saith the Lord Eternal.
Assim diz o SENHOR: Também cairão os que sustentam ao Egito, e a soberba de sua força irá abaixo; desde Migdol e Sevene cairão nele à espada, diz o Senhor DEUS.
7 And they shall be made desolate in the midst of the desolate countries, and its cities shall be counted in the midst of the cities that have been laid in ruins.
E serão assolados no meio das terras assoladas, e suas cidades estarão no meio das cidades desertas.
8 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I set fire to Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be broken.
E saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando puser fogo ao Egito, e forem destruídos todos os que o ajudavam.
9 On that day shall messengers go forth from my presence in ships to terrify the secure Ethiopians, and there shall be trembling among them, as on the day of Egypt; for, lo, it cometh.
Naquele dia sairão de diante de mim mensageiros em navios, para espantarem a confiante Cuxe, e haverá grandes dores neles, como no dia do Egito; porque eis que está vindo.
10 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will also cause the multitude of Egypt to cease through the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon.
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Farei cessar a multidão do Egito pela mão de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia.
11 He and his people with him, the fiercest of nations, shall be brought to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and they shall fill the land with the slain.
Ele, e com ele seu povo, os mais terríveis das nações, serão trazidos para destruir a terra; e desembainharão suas espadas contra o Egito, e encherão a terra de mortos.
12 And I will render the streams dry, and sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will make the land desolate, and all that filleth it, by the hand of strangers: I the Lord have spoken it.
E secarei os rios, entregarei a terra em mãos de malignos, e destruirei a terra e tudo o que ela contém pela mão de estrangeiros; eu, o SENHOR falei.
13 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause false gods to cease out of Noph; and a prince out of the land of Egypt shall there not be any more: and I will lay fear on the land of Egypt.
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também destruirei aos ídolos, e darei fim às imagens idolátricas de Mênfis; não haverá mais príncipe da terra do Egito, e porei medo na terra do Egito.
14 And I will make Pathros desolate, and set fire to Zo'an; and I will execute judgments in No.
E desolarei a Patros, porei fogo a Zoã, e farei juízos em Nô.
15 And I will pour my fury over Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
E derramarei minha ira sobre Pelúsio, a fortaleza do Egito, e exterminarei a multidão de Nô.
16 And I will set fire to Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be broken in, and [over] Noph shall the besiegers [prevail] by broad day.
E porei fogo ao Egito; Pelúsio terá grande dor, Nô será destroçada, e Mênfis terá angústias contínuas.
17 The young men of Aven and of Pi-besseth shall fall by the sword; and they themselves shall go into captivity.
Os rapazes de Áven e de Pibesete cairão à espada; e elas irão em cativeiro.
18 And at Thechaphneches the day shall be darkened, when I break there the yoke-bars of Egypt, and the pride of her strength ceaseth therein: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
E em Tafnes o dia se escurecerá, quando eu quebrar ali o jugo do Egito, e nela cessar a soberba de sua força; uma nuvem a cobrirá, e suas filhas irão em cativeiro.
19 Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Pois farei julgamentos no Egito, e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
E sucedeu no décimo primeiro ano, no primeiro [mês], aos sete do mês, que veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
21 Son of man, the arm of Pharaoh the king of Egypt have I broken; and lo, it shall not be bound up to apply remedies, to put on a bandage to bind it up, to make it strong that it may grasp the sword.
Filho do homem, quebrei o braço de Faraó, rei do Egito; e eis que não será enfaixado com remédios, nem lhe porão faixa para o envolver, a fim de curá-lo para que possa segurar espada.
22 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and will break his arms, both the strong, and that which was already broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que sou contra Faraó, rei do Egito, e quebrarei seus braços, tanto o forte como o quebrado; e farei cair a espada de sua mão.
23 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and I will disperse them through the countries.
E espalharei os egípcios entre as nações, e os dispersarei pelas terras.
24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he shall groan, with the groanings of a deadly wounded man before him.
E fortalecerei os braços do rei da Babilônia, e porei minha espada em sua mão; porém quebrarei os braços de Faraó, e diante dele gemerá com gemidos de ferido de morte.
25 Yea I will make strong the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I place my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, that he may stretch it out over the land of Egypt.
Fortalecerei, pois, os braços do rei de Babilônia, enquanto que os braços de Faraó cairão; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando eu tiver posto minha espada na mão do rei da Babilônia, e ele a estender sobre a terra do Egito.
26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
E espalharei os egípcios entre as nações, e os dispersarei pelas terras; assim saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
