Ezekiel 30
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Kiugo kĩa Jehova nĩkĩanginyĩrĩire, ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ
2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Wail ye, Woe unto the day!
“Mũrũ wa mũndũ, ratha ũhoro, uuge atĩrĩ: ‘Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: “‘Girĩkai, muuge atĩrĩ, “Kaĩ mũthenya ũcio ũrĩ na haaro-ĩ!”
3 For nigh is the day, yea nigh is the day of the Lord; a cloudy day; the time of the nations' [misfortune] shall it be.
Nĩgũkorwo mũthenya ũcio nĩũkuhĩrĩirie, mũthenya wa Jehova nĩũkuhĩrĩirie, mũthenya ũrĩ na matu, mũthenya ũrĩ na mũthiro harĩ ndũrĩrĩ.
4 And the sword shall come into Egypt, and there shall be trembling in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt, and when they take away its multitude, and its foundations shall be broken down.
Rũhiũ rwa njora nĩrũgookĩrĩra bũrũri wa Misiri, naruo ruo rwa ngoro rũkinyĩrĩre Kushi. Rĩrĩa arĩa moragĩtwo makaagũa kũu bũrũri wa Misiri, ũtonga wakuo nĩũgakuuo, nayo mĩthingi yakuo ĩmomorwo.
5 Ethiopia, and Put, and Lud, and all the confederates, and Cub, and all the men of the leagued land, shall fall with them by the sword.
Andũ a Kushi na Putu, na Ludu, na Arabia guothe, na Lubia, na andũ a bũrũri wa kĩrĩkanĩro, makooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora marĩ hamwe na andũ a Misiri.
6 Thus hath said the Lord, Yea, there shall fall those that uphold Egypt; and there shall come down the pride of her strength: from Migdol to Seveneh shall they fall in her by the sword, saith the Lord Eternal.
“‘Jehova ekuuga ũũ: “‘Arata a Misiri nĩmakooragwo, naguo hinya wake ũrĩa etĩĩaga naguo nĩũgaathira. Kuuma Migidoli o nginya Aswani, makooragĩrwo kuo thĩinĩ na rũhiũ rwa njora, ũguo nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga.
7 And they shall be made desolate in the midst of the desolate countries, and its cities shall be counted in the midst of the cities that have been laid in ruins.
“‘Nĩmagakira ihooru, marĩ gatagatĩ-inĩ ka mabũrũri marĩa manangĩtwo, magakira ihooru, namo matũũra mao manene magaakorwo marĩ thĩinĩ wa matũũra manene marĩa manangĩku.
8 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I set fire to Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be broken.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova, rĩrĩa ngaacina bũrũri wa Misiri na mwaki, nao arĩa othe maamateithagia mahehenjwo.
9 On that day shall messengers go forth from my presence in ships to terrify the secure Ethiopians, and there shall be trembling among them, as on the day of Egypt; for, lo, it cometh.
“‘Mũthenya ũcio-rĩ, nĩngatũma andũ moime harĩ niĩ marĩ na marikabu, mathiĩ makahahũre andũ a Kushi, moime mwĩcaaro-inĩ wao. Nĩmakanyiitwo nĩ ruo rwa ngoro mũthenya ũcio bũrũri wa Misiri ũkaaniinwo, nĩgũkorwo ti-itherũ nĩũgakinya.
10 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will also cause the multitude of Egypt to cease through the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon.
“‘Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: “‘Nĩnganiina kĩrĩndĩ kĩa Misiri, hũthĩrĩte guoko kwa Nebukadinezaru, mũthamaki wa Babuloni.
11 He and his people with him, the fiercest of nations, shall be brought to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and they shall fill the land with the slain.
We na mbũtũ ciake cia ita, o mbũtũ icio ikĩrĩtie ndũrĩrĩ iria ingĩ ciothe kwaga tha, nĩcio ikaarehwo, iniine bũrũri ũcio. Nĩigacomora hiũ ciao cia njora, ciũkĩrĩre bũrũri wa Misiri na ciyũrie bũrũri ũcio andũ arĩa moragĩtwo.
12 And I will render the streams dry, and sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will make the land desolate, and all that filleth it, by the hand of strangers: I the Lord have spoken it.
Nĩngatũma tũrũũĩ tuothe twa Rũũĩ rwa Nili tũhwe, naguo bũrũri ũcio ndĩwenderie andũ aaganu; ngaawananga na moko ma andũ a kũngĩ, guo mwene, o hamwe na kĩrĩa gĩothe kĩrĩ kuo. Niĩ Jehova nĩ niĩ njarĩtie.
13 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause false gods to cease out of Noph; and a prince out of the land of Egypt shall there not be any more: and I will lay fear on the land of Egypt.
“‘Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: “‘Nĩngathũkangia ngai cia mĩhianano na niine mĩhiano ĩrĩa ĩrĩ Nofu. Gũtigacooka kũgĩa mũthamaki kũu bũrũri wa Misiri, na nĩngaiyũria bũrũri ũcio wothe guoya.
14 And I will make Pathros desolate, and set fire to Zo'an; and I will execute judgments in No.
O nakuo Pathirosi nĩngakwananga, na ngwatie mwaki kũu Zoani, o na herithanie kũu Thebesi.
15 And I will pour my fury over Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
O nakuo Pelusiumu nĩngagũitĩrĩria mangʼũrĩ makwa, o kũu kĩĩgitĩro kĩa hinya kĩa bũrũri wa Misiri, na njeherie kĩrĩndĩ gĩa kũu Thebesi.
16 And I will set fire to Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be broken in, and [over] Noph shall the besiegers [prevail] by broad day.
Nĩngagwatia mwaki kũu bũrũri wa Misiri, nakuo Pelusiumu nĩgũkeehũũrithania nĩ ruo. Thebesi nĩgũgatharĩkĩrwo. Nofu nĩgũgakorwo na mĩnyamaro ĩtegũtigithĩria.
17 The young men of Aven and of Pi-besseth shall fall by the sword; and they themselves shall go into captivity.
Aanake a Heliopoli na a Bubasiti makooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora, nao andũ a matũũra macio manene matahwo.
18 And at Thechaphneches the day shall be darkened, when I break there the yoke-bars of Egypt, and the pride of her strength ceaseth therein: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
Mũthenya nĩũkagĩa nduma kũu Tehafunehasu rĩrĩa ngoinanga icooki rĩa Misiri; kũu nĩkuo hinya wake ũcio etĩĩaga naguo ũgaathirĩra. Nĩakahumbĩrwo nĩ matu, namo matũũra make nĩmagatahwo.
19 Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngaherithia bũrũri wa Misiri, nao nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Mwaka-inĩ wa ikũmi na ũmwe, mũthenya wa mũgwanja wa mweri wa mbere, kiugo kĩa Jehova nĩkĩanginyĩrĩire, ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ:
21 Son of man, the arm of Pharaoh the king of Egypt have I broken; and lo, it shall not be bound up to apply remedies, to put on a bandage to bind it up, to make it strong that it may grasp the sword.
“Mũrũ wa mũndũ, nĩnyunĩte guoko kwa Firaũni, mũthamaki wa Misiri. Gũtiohetwo na taama ũrĩ na ndawa nĩguo kũhone, kana gũkoohanio na mĩtĩ nĩguo kũgwate kũgĩe na hinya wa kuoya rũhiũ rwa njora.
22 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and will break his arms, both the strong, and that which was already broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: Niĩ nĩngũũkĩrĩra Firaũni mũthamaki wa bũrũri wa Misiri. Nĩngũmuuna moko meerĩ, kũrĩa kũgima na kũrĩa kuunĩku, na ndũme rũhiũ rwa njora ruume guoko-inĩ gwake rũgwe thĩ.
23 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and I will disperse them through the countries.
Nĩngahurunja andũ a Misiri ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ, na ndĩmaharaganĩrie mabũrũri-inĩ.
24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he shall groan, with the groanings of a deadly wounded man before him.
Nĩngekĩra moko ma mũthamaki wa Babuloni hinya, na ndĩmũnengere rũhiũ rwakwa rwa njora arũnyiite na guoko, no nĩngoina moko ma Firaũni, nake acaaĩre hau mbere yake, o ta mũndũ ũgurarĩtio nguraro ya gĩkuũ.
25 Yea I will make strong the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I place my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, that he may stretch it out over the land of Egypt.
Nĩngekĩra moko ma mũthamaki wa Babuloni hinya, no moko ma Firaũni nĩmakaaga hinya. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova, rĩrĩa ngaanengera mũthamaki wa Babuloni rũhiũ rwakwa rwa njora arũnyiite na guoko, nake arũhiũrie okĩrĩre bũrũri wa Misiri.
26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Nĩngahurunja andũ a Misiri ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ, na ndĩmaharaganĩrie mabũrũri-inĩ. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.”
