Ezekiel 23
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
१यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुँचा:
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother;
२“हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, दो स्त्रियाँ थी, जो एक ही माँ की बेटी थी।
3 And they played the harlot in Egypt; in their youth they played the harlot: there were their breasts pressed, and there they suffered their virgin bosoms to be touched.
३वे अपने बचपन ही में वेश्या का काम मिस्र में करने लगी; उनकी छातियाँ कुँवारेपन में पहले वहीं मींजी गई और उनका मरदन भी हुआ।
4 And their names were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister; but they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters: and their names are, Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem, Aholibah.
४उन लड़कियों में से बड़ी का नाम ओहोला और उसकी बहन का नाम ओहोलीबा था। वे मेरी हो गई, और उनके पुत्र पुत्रियाँ उत्पन्न हुईं। उनके नामों में से ओहोला तो सामरिया, और ओहोलीबा यरूशलेम है।
5 And Aholah played the harlot while she was mine; and she longed for her lovers, for the Assyrians that were near [her],
५“ओहोला जब मेरी थी, तब ही व्यभिचारिणी होकर अपने मित्रों पर मोहित होने लगी जो उसके पड़ोसी अश्शूरी थे।
6 Clothed [as they were] in blue, governors, and rulers, attractive youths all of them, horsemen riding upon horses.
६वे तो सब के सब नीले वस्त्र पहननेवाले मनभावने जवान, अधिपति और प्रधान थे, और घोड़ों पर सवार थे।
7 Thus she played the harlot with them, all of them the chosen ones of the sons of Asshur: and with all for whom she longed, —with all their idols did she defile herself.
७इसलिए उसने उन्हीं के साथ व्यभिचार किया जो सब के सब सर्वोत्तम अश्शूरी थे; और जिस किसी पर वह मोहित हुई, उसी की मूरतों से वह अशुद्ध हुई।
8 But also her lewdness from Egypt forsook she not; for they had lain with her in her youth, and they had touched her virgin bosom, and had lavished their lewd caresses on her.
८जो व्यभिचार उसने मिस्र में सीखा था, उसको भी उसने न छोड़ा; क्योंकि बचपन में मनुष्यों ने उसके साथ कुकर्म किया, और उसकी छातियाँ मींजी, और तन-मन से उसके साथ व्यभिचार किया गया था।
9 Therefore did I give her up into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the sons of Asshur, after whom she longed.
९इस कारण मैंने उसको उन्हीं अश्शूरी मित्रों के हाथ कर दिया जिन पर वह मोहित हुई थी।
10 These were they that laid open her nakedness; her sons and her daughters did they take away, and her they slew with the sword: and she became infamous among women, when they inflicted the decreed punishments on her.
१०उन्होंने उसको नंगी किया; उसके पुत्र-पुत्रियाँ छीनकर उसको तलवार से घात किया; इस प्रकार उनके हाथ से दण्ड पाकर वह स्त्रियों में प्रसिद्ध हो गई।
11 And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she became more corrupt in her longing than she, and in her lewd acts more than her sister's lewdness.
११“उसकी बहन ओहोलीबा ने यह देखा, तो भी वह मोहित होकर व्यभिचार करने में अपनी बहन से भी अधिक बढ़ गई।
12 For the sons of Asshur did she long, the governors and rulers that were near, clothed as they were most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, attractive youths all of them.
१२वह अपने अश्शूरी पड़ोसियों पर मोहित होती थी, जो सब के सब अति सुन्दर वस्त्र पहननेवाले और घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने, जवान अधिपति और सब प्रकार के प्रधान थे।
13 Then saw I that she was defiled, that they followed both one way.
१३तब मैंने देखा कि वह भी अशुद्ध हो गई; उन दोनों बहनों की एक ही चाल थी।
14 But she added still more to her acts of lewdness; for when she saw men engraved upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with color,
१४परन्तु ओहोलीबा अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई; अतः जब उसने दीवार पर सेंदूर से खींचे हुए ऐसे कसदी पुरुषों के चित्र देखे,
15 Bound with girdles on their loins, with hanging down colored turbans on their heads, in appearance like commanders, all of them, in the likeness of the sons of Babylon of the Chaldeans, the land of their birth:
१५जो कमर में फेंटे बाँधे हुए, सिर में छोर लटकती हुई रंगीली पगड़ियाँ पहने हुए, और सब के सब अपनी कसदी जन्म-भूमि अर्थात् बाबेल के लोगों की रीति पर प्रधानों का रूप धरे हुए थे,
16 Then did she long for them as soon as she saw them with her eyes, and she sent messengers unto them to Chaldea.
१६तब उनको देखते ही वह उन पर मोहित हुई और उनके पास कसदियों के देश में दूत भेजे।
17 And the sons of Babylon came to her unto the couch of love, and they defiled her with their lewd caresses; and [yet] when she had been defiled with them, she tore her soul away from them.
१७इसलिए बाबेली उसके पास पलंग पर आए, और उसके साथ व्यभिचार करके उसे अशुद्ध किया; और जब वह उनसे अशुद्ध हो गई, तब उसका मन उनसे फिर गया।
18 And when she had laid open her lewdness, and had uncovered her nakedness: then my soul tore itself away from her, as my soul had torn itself away from her sister.
१८तो भी जब वह तन उघाड़ती और व्यभिचार करती गई, तब मेरा मन जैसे उसकी बहन से फिर गया था, वैसे ही उससे भी फिर गया।
19 Yet she multiplied her deeds of lewdness, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, when she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
१९इस पर भी वह मिस्र देश के अपने बचपन के दिन स्मरण करके जब वह वेश्या का काम करती थी, और अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई;
20 And she longed for her paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose lustfulness is like the lustfulness of horses.
२०और ऐसे मित्रों पर मोहित हुई, जिनका अंग गदहों का सा, और वीर्य घोड़ों का सा था।
21 And thou calledst to mind the incest of thy youth, when thy bosom was touched by the Egyptians for the sake of thy youthful breasts.
२१तू इस प्रकार से अपने बचपन के उस समय के महापाप का स्मरण कराती है जब मिस्री लोग तेरी छातियाँ मींजते थे।”
22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will wake up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul hath torn itself away, and I will bring them against thee from every side;
२२इस कारण हे ओहोलीबा, परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझ से यह कहता है: “देख, मैं तेरे मित्रों को उभारकर जिनसे तेरा मन फिर गया चारों ओर से तेरे विरुद्ध ले आऊँगा।
23 The sons of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa and Koa, and all the sons of Asshur with them, attractive youths, governors and rulers all of them, commanders and chiefs, riding upon horses all of them.
२३अर्थात् बाबेली और सब कसदियों को, और पकोद, शोया और कोआ के लोगों को; और उनके साथ सब अश्शूरियों को लाऊँगा जो सब के सब घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने जवान अधिपति, और कई प्रकार के प्रतिनिधि, प्रधान और नामी पुरुष हैं।
24 And they shall come over thee with weapons, chariots, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, buckler and shield and helmet shall they set up against thee round about: and I will give up before them the right to judge, and they shall judge thee according to their ordinances.
२४वे लोग हथियार, रथ, छकड़े और देश-देश के लोगों का दल लिए हुए तुझ पर चढ़ाई करेंगे; और ढाल और फरी और टोप धारण किए हुए तेरे विरुद्ध चारों ओर पाँति बाँधेंगे; और मैं उन्हीं के हाथ न्याय का काम सौंपूँगा, और वे अपने-अपने नियम के अनुसार तेरा न्याय करेंगे।
25 And I will set my zealousness against thee, and they shall deal with thee in fury; thy nose and thy ears shall they cut off; and what is left of thee shall fall by the sword: thy sons and thy daughters shall they take away; and what is left of thee shall be devoured by the fire.
२५मैं तुझ पर जलूँगा, जिससे वे जलजलाहट के साथ तुझ से बर्ताव करेंगे। वे तेरी नाक और कान काट लेंगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा वह तलवार से मारा जाएगा। वे तेरे पुत्र-पुत्रियों को छीन ले जाएँगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा, वह आग से भस्म हो जाएगा।
26 And they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy ornamental attire.
२६वे तेरे वस्त्र भी उतारकर तेरे सुन्दर-सुन्दर गहने छीन ले जाएँगे।
27 Thus will I make thy incest to cease from thee, and thy lewdness brought from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt not lift up thy eyes unto them, and Egypt shalt thou not remember any more.
२७इस रीति से मैं तेरा महापाप और जो वेश्या का काम तूने मिस्र देश में सीखा था, उसे भी तुझ से छुड़ाऊँगा, यहाँ तक कि तू फिर अपनी आँख उनकी ओर न लगाएगी और न मिस्र देश को फिर स्मरण करेगी।
28 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will give thee up into the hand of those whom thou hatest, into the hand of those from whom thy soul hath torn itself away;
२८क्योंकि प्रभु यहोवा तुझ से यह कहता है: देख, मैं तुझे उनके हाथ सौंपूँगा जिनसे तू बैर रखती है और जिनसे तेरा मन फिर गया है;
29 And they shall deal with thee in hate, and shall take away all [things acquired by] thy labor, and they shall leave thee naked and bare: and thus shall be uncovered the nakedness of thy lewdness, and thy incest and thy lewd deeds.
२९और वे तुझ से बैर के साथ बर्ताव करेंगे, और तेरी सारी कमाई को उठा लेंगे, और तुझे नंगा करके छोड़ देंगे, और तेरे तन के उघाड़े जाने से तेरा व्यभिचार और महापाप प्रगट हो जाएगा।
30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone with vile lust after the nations, because thou hast defiled thyself with their idols.
३०ये काम तुझ से इस कारण किए जाएँगे क्योंकि तू अन्यजातियों के पीछे व्यभिचारिणी के समान हो गई, और उनकी मूर्तियों को पूजकर अशुद्ध हो गई है।
31 On the way of thy sister hast thou walked; therefore will I place her cup into thy hand.
३१तू अपनी बहन की लीक पर चली है; इस कारण मैं तेरे हाथ में उसका सा कटोरा दूँगा।
32 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The cup of thy sister shalt thou drink, the deep and wide one: thou shalt become to be laughed to scorn and to be held in derision, more than thou canst bear.
३२प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है, अपनी बहन के कटोरे से तुझे पीना पड़ेगा जो गहरा और चौड़ा है; तू हँसी और उपहास में उड़ाई जाएगी, क्योंकि उस कटोरे में बहुत कुछ समाता है।
33 With drunkenness and sorrow shalt thou be filled, [out of] the cup of astonishment and confusion, the cup of thy sister Samaria.
३३तू मतवालेपन और दुःख से छक जाएगी। तू अपनी बहन सामरिया के कटोरे को, अर्थात् विस्मय और उजाड़ को पीकर छक जाएगी।
34 Thou shalt even drink it and drain it out, and thou shalt break in pieces its fragments, and tear thy own breasts; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
३४उसमें से तू गार-गारकर पीएगी, और उसके ठीकरों को भी चबाएगी और अपनी छातियाँ घायल करेगी; क्योंकि मैं ही ने ऐसा कहा है, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
35 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back: therefore bear thou also thy incest and thy acts of lewdness.
३५तूने जो मुझे भुला दिया है और अपना मुँह मुझसे फेर लिया है, इसलिए तू आप ही अपने महापाप और व्यभिचार का भार उठा, परमेश्वर यहोवा का यही वचन है।”
36 The Lord said moreover unto me, Son of man, wilt thou call Aholah and Aholibah to account? then tell them of their abominations;
३६यहोवा ने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, क्या तू ओहोला और ओहोलीबा का न्याय करेगा? तो फिर उनके घिनौने काम उन्हें जता दे।
37 That they have committed adultery, and there is blood on their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and also their sons whom they had born unto me have they caused to pass for them through [the fire], to devour them.
३७क्योंकि उन्होंने व्यभिचार किया है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है; उन्होंने अपनी मूरतों के साथ व्यभिचार किया, और अपने बच्चों को जो मुझसे उत्पन्न हुए थे, उन मूरतों के आगे भस्म होने के लिये चढ़ाए हैं।
38 Moreover this have they done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary on the same day, and my sabbaths have they profaned.
३८फिर उन्होंने मुझसे ऐसा बर्ताव भी किया कि उसी के साथ मेरे पवित्रस्थान को भी अशुद्ध किया और मेरे विश्रामदिनों को अपवित्र किया है।
39 And when they had slain their children to their idols, then came they into my sanctuary on the same day to profane it: and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.
३९वे अपने बच्चे अपनी मूरतों के सामने बलि चढ़ाकर उसी दिन मेरा पवित्रस्थान अपवित्र करने को उसमें घुसीं। देख, उन्होंने इस भाँति का काम मेरे भवन के भीतर किया है।
40 And farthermore yet, because they sent for men who were to come from afar, unto whom messengers were sent; and, lo, they came, for whom thou didst bathe thyself, paint thy eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments;
४०उन्होंने दूर से पुरुषों को बुलवा भेजा, और वे चले भी आए। उनके लिये तू नहा धो, आँखों में अंजन लगा, गहने पहनकर;
41 And thou didst sit upon a stately bed, with a table spread before it, and my incense and my oil didst thou set upon it.
४१सुन्दर पलंग पर बैठी रही; और तेरे सामने एक मेज बिछी हुई थी, जिस पर तूने मेरा धूप और मेरा तेल रखा था।
42 And the shout of a peaceful joyous multitude was [heard] within her; and with the men of the masses of the common people were brought Sabeans from the wilderness; and these women placed bracelets on their hands, and crowns of glory upon their heads.
४२तब उसके साथ निश्चिन्त लोगों की भीड़ का कोलाहल सुन पड़ा, और उन साधारण लोगों के पास जंगल से बुलाए हुए पियक्कड़ लोग भी थे; उन्होंने उन दोनों बहनों के हाथों में चूड़ियाँ पहनाई, और उनके सिरों पर शोभायमान मुकुट रखे।
43 Then thought I of her that was worn out in adulteries, Will they now [still] commit lewdness with her, when she [is thus]?
४३“तब जो व्यभिचार करते-करते बुढ़िया हो गई थी, उसके विषय में बोल उठा, अब तो वे उसी के साथ व्यभिचार करेंगे।
44 But men went in unto her, as they go in unto a faithless wife: thus went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the incestuous women.
४४क्योंकि वे उसके पास ऐसे गए जैसे लोग वेश्या के पास जाते हैं। वैसे ही वे ओहोला और ओहोलीबा नामक महापापिनी स्त्रियों के पास गए।
45 Righteous men, however—these shall judge them as adulteresses are judged, and as women that shed blood are judged; because adulteresses are they, and blood is on their hands.
४५अतः धर्मी लोग व्यभिचारिणियों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणियों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणी है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है।”
46 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will bring up against them an assemblage of men, and I will give them up to ill-usage and plunder.
४६इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा यह कहता है: “मैं एक भीड़ से उन पर चढ़ाई कराकर उन्हें ऐसा करूँगा कि वे मारी-मारी फिरेंगी और लूटी जाएँगी।
47 And the assemblage shall stone them with stones, and cut them down with their swords: their sons and their daughters shall they slay, and their houses shall they burn with fire.
४७उस भीड़ के लोग उनको पथराव करके उन्हें अपनी तलवारों से काट डालेंगे, तब वे उनके पुत्र-पुत्रियों को घात करके उनके घर भी आग लगाकर फूँक देंगे।
48 Thus will I cause incest to cease out of the land, that all women may be warned by example, and not do after your incestuous course.
४८इस प्रकार मैं महापाप को देश में से दूर करूँगा, और सब स्त्रियाँ शिक्षा पाकर तुम्हारा सा महापाप करने से बची रहेगी।
49 And they shall lay your incest upon you, and the sins of your idols shall ye bear: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Eternal.
४९तुम्हारा महापाप तुम्हारे ही सिर पड़ेगा; और तुम निश्चय अपनी मूरतों की पूजा के पापों का भार उठाओगे; और तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं परमेश्वर यहोवा हूँ।”
