Ezekiel 21
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Unya miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,
2 Son of man, direct thy face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
“Anak sa tawo, atubang ngadto sa Jerusalem, ug pagsulti batok sa mga balaang dapit; panagna batok sa yuta sa Israel.
3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus hath said the Lord, Behold, I will be against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath; and I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
Sultihi ang yuta sa Israel, 'Misulti niini si Yahweh: Pamati! Nasuko ako batok kaninyo! Hulboton ko ang akong espada gikan sa sakoban niini ug pangpuohon ang mga matarong ug ang daotang tawo gikan kanimo!
4 But because I shall have cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked: therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north;
Aron nga pangpuohon ko ang mga matarong ug daotan gikan kanimo, mogawas ang akong espada gikan sa sakoban niini batok sa tanang unod gikan sa habagatan padulong sa amihan.
5 That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.
Unya masayod ang tanang katawhan nga ako, si Yahweh ang mihulbot sa akong espada gikan sa sakoban. Dili na gayod ako mapugngan pa!'
6 But thou, son of man, do thou sigh: as though with broken loins, and with bitterness [of grief] shalt thou sigh before their eyes.
Alang kanimo, anak sa tawo, pag-agulo sama sa pagdaguok sa imong tiyan! Pag-agulo uban ang kapait diha sa ilang atubangan!
7 And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say, For the report, because it cometh, when every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be made feeble, and every spirit shall become faint, and all knees shall be changed into water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord Eternal.
Unya mahitabo nga mangutana sila kanimo, 'Sa unsa mang rason nga nag-agulo ka? Unya moingon ka, 'Tungod sa moabot nga mga balita, tungod kay ang matag kasingkasing masakitan pag-ayo, ug ang matag kamot magakurog! Ang matag espiritu maluya, ug ang matag tuhod modagayday sama sa tubig. Tan-awa! Moabot na kini ug sama kini niini! Mao kini ang gipamulong ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”
8 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Unya ang pulong ni Yahweh miabot kanako ug miingon,
9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus hath said the Lord, Say, The sword, the sword is sharpened, and also polished;
“Anak sa tawo, panagna ug ingna, 'Nagsulti ang Ginoo sama niini: Ang espada! Ang espada! Pahaiton kini ug pasinawon!
10 In order to make a thorough slaughter is it sharpened; in order that it may glitter is it polished: how can we now rejoice, [when] the rod which reacheth my son excelleth in hardness every tree?
Pahaiton kini aron sa pag-andam sa dako nga pagpamatay! Pasinawon kini aron mahisama sa kilat! Kinahanglan ba kitang maglipay tungod sa baton sa akong anak nga lalaki? Nagdumot ang espada sa matag baton!
11 And he hath given it to be polished, to make it fit to grasp it in the hand: it is the sword which is sharpened, and it is polished, to place it into the hand of the slayer.
Busa gihatag ang espada aron pasinawon, ug unya kuptan kini sa kamot! Gibaid pag-ayo ang espada ug gipasinaw kini ug ihatag ngadto sa kamot sa mopatay!'
12 Cry aloud and wail, O son of man; for it cometh against my people, it cometh against all the princes of Israel; brought together for the sword are they with my people: therefore strike [thy hand] upon thy thigh.
Pagpakitabang ug pagbangotan, anak sa tawo! Tungod kay moabot ang espada batok sa akong katawhan! Batok kini sa tanang pangulo sa Israel. Ipanglabay sila batok sa espada uban sa akong katawhan. Busa, hapaka ang inyong batiis!
13 For a purification taketh place: and what if the irresistible rod will also come? [my son] would not be able to exist, saith the Lord Eternal.
Tungod kay adunay pagsulay, apan unsaon man kung ang baton dili magdugay? mao kini ang gipamulong ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.
14 But thou, son of man, prophesy, and strike thy hands together, and let “The sword” be repeated the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great that are slain, which lieth in wait for them everywhere.
Karon, anak sa tawo, panagna ug ipakpak ang imong duha ka kamot, tungod kay ang espada mohasmag sa makatulo ka higayon! Ang espada alang kanila nga pamatyon! Alang kini nga espada sa kadaghanan aron sa pag-ihaw, dunggabon sila bisan-asa!
15 In order to make timid the heart, and to multiply the stumbling-blocks, do I bring the howling of the sword against all their gates: ah! it is made bright, it is made thin-edged for the slaughter.
Aron malukmay ang ilang mga kasingkasing ug ang kadaghanan mangatumba, gipahimutang ko ang espada batok sa ilang mga ganghaan! Pagkaalaot! Gihimo kini sama sa kilat, gibuhian aron patyon!
16 Gather up thy strength, go to the right hand, direct thyself, go to the left, whithersoever thy edge is turned.
Ikaw, espada! Hasmag sa tuo! Hasmag sa wala! Lakaw bisan asa ka moatubang.
17 And I also, —I will strike my hands together, and I will cause my fury to be assuaged: I the Lord have spoken it.
Ipakpak ko usab ang duha ko ka kamot, ug unya dalahon ko ang akong kasuko sa pagpahulay! Ako, si Yahweh, ang nagmolung niini!”
18 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Ang pulong ni Yahweh miabot kanako pag-usab, nga nag-ingon,
19 But thou, O son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; out of one land shall both of them come forth: and select a place; at the head of the way to a city do thou select it.
“Karon, anak sa tawo, paghimo ug duha ka mga dalan alang sa espada sa hari sa Babilonia nga moabot. Magsugod ang duha ka dalan sa mao ra nga yuta, ug ang usa ka ilhanan nga poste ang mogiya paingon sa siyudad.
20 A way shalt thou appoint, that the sword may come against Rabbah of the children of 'Ammon, and [the other] against Judah [dwelling] in Jerusalem the fortified.
Markahi ang usa ka dalan nga alang sa kasundalohan sa Babilonia nga moadto sa Raba, ang siyudad sa mga Amonihanon. Markahi usab ang laing dalan aron maoy mogiya sa kasundalohan ngadto sa Juda ug ngadto sa Jerusalem, ang lig-on nga mga siyudad.
21 For the king of Babylon hath halted at the parting of the way, at the commencement of the two ways, to use divination: he shaketh the arrows, he consulteth with images, he looketh at the liver.
Tungod kay mohunong ang hari sa Babilonia sa nag-abot nga mga dalan, aron magbansay sa pagpanagna. Uyogon niya ang pipila ka mga pana ug mangutana sa pipila ka mga diosdios kung asa nga dalan ang ilang agian ug iyang pagasutaon ang atay.
22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to erect battering-rams, to open the mouth with the [cry for] murder, to lift up the voice with shouting, to place battering-rams against the gates, to cast up a mound, and to build works of attack.
Sa iyang tuong kamot mao ang panagna mahitungod sa Jerusalem, aron ipahimutang ang mga troso nga mobangga batok niini, aron sa pag-abri sa iyang baba sa pagmando sa pagpamatay, sa pagpatingog sa singgit sa gubat, sa pagpahimutang sa tawo nga mobangga sa ganghaan, sa paghimo ug dalan, ug sa pagpatindog ug mga tore.
23 And it will appear unto them as a false divination in their eyes, to those that had sworn oaths; but he will bring to remembrance their iniquity, that they may be caught.
Mahimo kining kawang nga panan-awon diha sa mga mata sa taga Jerusalem, kadtong naghimo ug kasabotan tali sa taga-Babilonia! Apan pasanginlan sila sa hari nga nakalapas sa ilang gipanumpaan aron nga daugdaogon sila!
24 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because ye have brought your iniquity to remembrance, as your transgressions are discovered, so that your sins do appear in all your doings: because ye are thus brought to remembrance, ye shall be caught by [his] hand.
Busa ang Ginoo nga si Yahweh miingon niini: Tungod kay gipahinumdom ninyo kanako ang inyong kasal-anan ibutyag ko ang inyong kalapasan! Makit-an ang inyong sala sa tanan ninyong mga buhat! Tungod niini pahinumdoman ninyo ang matag-usa nga mabihag kamo pinaagi sa kamot sa inyong mga kaaway!
25 And thou, death-deserving wicked one, prince of Israel, whose day is come, at the time of the iniquity of the end, —
Ug kamong mga mahugaw ug daotan, nga magmamando sa Israel, nga ang adlaw sa pagsilot miabot na, ug kadto nga mga takna natapos na,
26 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Remove the mitre, and take off the crown: this shall not be always so; exalt him that is low, and make him low that is high.
ang Yahweh nga Ginoo miingon niini diha kaninyo: Huboa ang purong ug ibutang ang korona! Mabag-o na tanang mga butang! Igatuboy ang mga mapainubsanon ug ipaubos ang mapahitas-on!
27 Overthrown, overthrown, overthrown will I render it: also this shall not belong [to any one], until he come whose right it is, and I will give it him.
Ang pagkaguba! ang pagkaguba! Gub-on ko gayod kini! Dili kini mapasig-uli hangtod nga moabot ang gisangonan sa pagbuhat sa paghukom.
28 And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal concerning the children of 'Ammon, and concerning their reproach: even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn; for the slaughter is it polished, to destroy, that it may continue to glitter;
Busa ikaw, anak sa tawo, panagna ug ingna, 'Si Yahweh nga Ginoo miingon niini ngadto sa katawhan sa Amon mahitungod sa ilang umaabot nga kaulawan: Gihulbot na ang espada! Gipahait na kini alang sa pagpatay aron sa paglamoy, busa mahisama kini sa kilat!
29 While they foresee unto thee falsehood, while they divine unto thee lies, to lay thee by the necks of the slain wicked, whose day is come, at the time of the iniquity of the end.
Samtang makakita ug bakak nga mga panan-awon ang mga propeta alang kaninyo, samtang naghimo sila sa mga tulumanon aron sa paghimo ug mga bakak alang kaninyo, motabas kini nga espada sa mga liog sa daotan nga hapit na pamatyon, ang adlaw sa pagsilot miabot na ug kansang takna alang sa daotan matapos na.
30 Put back [the sword] into its sheath! in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy origin, will I judge thee.
Ibalik ang espada sa inyong sakoban. Sa dapit sa inyong binuhat, sa yuta nga inyong gigikanan, hukman ko kamo!
31 And I will pour out over thee my indignation, with the fire of my wrath will I blow against thee, and I will give thee up into the hand of brutish men, skilful in destroying.
Ibubo ko ang akong kasuko nganha kaninyo! Ipasilaob ko ang kalayo sa akong kasuko batok kaninyo ug ibutang kamo ngadto sa kamot sa bangis nga tawo, mga hanas nga mga kalalakin-an sa pakiggubat!
32 To the fire shalt thou be given to be devoured; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land: thou shalt not be remembered [any more]; for I the Lord have spoken it.
Mahimo kamong panghaling sa kalayo! Ang inyong dugo mobanaw diha sa inyong yuta. Dili kamo mahinumdoman, tungod kay Ako, si Yahweh ang namulong niini!'''
