Ezekiel 16
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
੧ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
2 Son of man, make known unto Jerusalem her abominations,
੨ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ
3 And thou shalt say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal unto Jerusalem, Thy origin and thy birth are out of the land of Canaan: thy father was an Emorite, and thy mother a Hittite.
੩ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਖ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਨਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸੀ। ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।
4 And as for thy birth, on the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, nor wast thou washed in water to he cleansed; and thou wast not rubbed with salt, nor wrapt in swaddling clothes.
੪ਤੇਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਨਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾੜੂ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਨਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਵ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੂਣ ਮਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਪੋਤੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਪੇਟੀ ਨਾ ਗਈ।
5 No eye looked with pity on thee, to do any of these things unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out on the open field, with a loathing of thy body, on the day that thou wast born.
੫ਕਿਸੇ ਅੱਖ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
6 But I passed then by thee, and I saw thee stained with thy own blood, and I said unto thee, In thy blood, live; yea, I said unto thee, In thy blood, live.
੬ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਲੰਘਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਹੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੱਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਲਹੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਬੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈਂ, ਜੀਉਂਦੀ ਰਹਿ! ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਲਹੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਬੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈਂ, ਜੀਉਂਦੀ ਰਹਿ!
7 Myriads, like the vegetation of the field, did I make of thee, and thou didst increase and become great, and thou attainedst the highest attractions: with thy breasts developed, and thy hair full grown; but thou wast still naked and bare.
੭ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖੇਤ ਦੇ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵਧਾਇਆ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਵਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਟਿਆਰ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਜੋਬਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਣੀ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਛਾਤੀਆਂ ਸੁਡੌਲ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਲ਼ ਵਧੇ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਨੰਗੀ ਧੜੰਗੀ ਸੀ।
8 But I passed then by thee, and saw thee, and, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread the skirt of my garment over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I swore unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Eternal, and thou becamest mine.
੮ਫੇਰ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਲੰਘਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੰਗੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕਿਆ, ਹਾਂ, ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
9 Then did I bathe thee with water, yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee; and I anointed thee with oil.
੯ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਹਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਧੋ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਤੇਲ ਮਲਿਆ।
10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and made thee shoes of badger's skin, and I placed on thy head a turban of fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.
੧੦ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਸੀਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਵਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਚਮੜੇ ਦੀ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਪਵਾਈ, ਵਧੀਆ ਕਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਪੇਟੀ ਬਣਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕਿਆ।
11 And I decked thee with ornaments, and I placed bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain around thy neck.
੧੧ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ, ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਗਲ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਰ ਪਾਇਆ।
12 And I placed a ring on thy nose, and earrings in thy ears, and a crown of splendor on thy head.
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੱਥ ਪਾਈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤਾਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
13 Thus wast thou ornamented with gold and silver; and thy garments were of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; fine flour, and honey, and oil didst thou eat: and thou wast exceedingly beautiful, and thou didst succeed to acquire dominion.
੧੩ਤੂੰ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ, ਰੇਸ਼ਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਸੀਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਦਾ, ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਖਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ। ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਣੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ।
14 And thy fame went forth among the nations because of thy beauty; for it was perfect through my glorious ornament, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Eternal.
੧੪ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਸ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਸੀ, ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
15 But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and play the harlot because of thy fame, and lavish thy lewd caresses on every one that passed by—on him they were bestowed.
੧੫ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੀ। ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਲੰਘਿਆ, ਉਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ।
16 And thou didst take from thy garments, and deck thee high-places with divers colors, and play the harlot thereupon: never should the like come to pass, and never should it be so.
੧੬ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜੋ ਨਾ ਕਦੀ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
17 And thou didst take thy elegant ornaments of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and make for thyself male images, and play the harlot with them;
੧੭ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ, ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਮਰਦਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
18 And thou didst take thy broidered garments, and cover them: and my oil and my incense didst thou place before them.
੧੮ਕਸੀਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਤੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਧੂਫ਼ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
19 And my bread which I had given thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, which I had let thee eat, even this didst thou set before them for a sweet savour: yes, so was it, saith the Lord Eternal.
੧੯ਮੇਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮੈਦਾ, ਤੇਲ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
20 And thou didst take thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hadst born unto me, and didst slaughter these unto them to be devoured; [but] were thy acts of lewdness not yet enough?
੨੦ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਜਾਣ! ਕੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਨਾਹਕਾਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੀ?
21 That thou didst slay my children, and give them up to cause them to pass through the fire for them?
੨੧ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
22 And in all thy abominations and thy acts of lewdness thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, when thou wast stained with thy blood.
੨੨ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਯਾਦ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਨੰਗੀ ਧੜੰਗੀ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਹੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੱਬੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
23 And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, —[woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord Eternal; ]—
੨੩ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬੁਰਿਆਈਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ - ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ ਹਾਏ! - ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ
24 That thou didst build unto thyself eminences, and make thyself elevations in every street.
੨੪ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਗੁੰਬਦ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਚੌਂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
25 On the corner of every road didst thou build thy elevations, and make thy beauty abominable, and spread out thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiply thy acts of lewdness.
੨੫ਤੂੰ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਖੂੰਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਲੰਘਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਖਿਲਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਇਆ।
26 And thou didst play the harlot with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, with large limbs, and multiply thy acts of lewdness, to provoke me to anger.
੨੬ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਮੋਟੇ ਡਾਢੇ ਸਨ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
27 And, behold, I stretched out my hand over thee, and diminished thy stated portion; and I gave thee up unto the will of those that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who were made to blush for thy incestuous course.
੨੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਖ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਲੁੱਚਪੁਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
28 Then didst thou play the harlot with the sons of Asshur, because thou wast unsatiable: yea, thou didst play the harlot with them, and wast even then not satisfied.
੨੮ਫੇਰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਰੱਜਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਰੱਜੀ।
29 And thou didst multiply thy lewdness with the traders' land as far as Chaldea; and even with this wast thou not satisfied.
੨੯ਤੂੰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰਿਆ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਰੱਜੀ।
30 How very corrupt is thy heart, saith the Lord Eternal, seeing thou didst all these things, deeds of an abandoned lewd woman;
੩੦ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਕਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਸ਼ਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ।
31 Seeing that thou didst build thy eminences at the corner of every road, and make thy elevations in every street; and wast not like a harlot, as thou scornedst the wages.
੩੧ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਹਰੇਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁੰਬਦ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਚੌਂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਖਰਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੀ।
32 O thou adulterous wife! who, while bound to her husband, receiveth strangers!
੩੨ਤੂੰ ਵਿਭਚਾਰਨ ਇਸਰਤੀ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਓਪਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ!
33 Unto all harlots they give presents; but thou hast given thy presents to all thy lovers, and hast bribed them, that they might come unto thee from every side in thy acts of lewdness.
੩੩ਲੋਕ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੇਸਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰਿਓਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ।
34 And the reverse was the case with thee from [other] women in thy acts of lewdness, that men did not follow thee to seek thy lewd caresses; and because thou gavest the wages, and no wages were given thee: so was it the reverse with thee.
੩੪ਤੂੰ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਤੂੰ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਸੋ ਤੂੰ ਓਪਰੀ ਹੈਂ!
35 Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord!
੩੫ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰਨ! ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ
36 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas thy wealth was squandered, and thy nakedness was uncovered through thy lewd acts with thy lovers, and with all thy abominable idols, and for the blood of thy children, whom thou didst give unto them:
੩੬ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨੰਗੇਜ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਾਰਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ,
37 Therefore, behold, I will gather all thy lovers, whom thou hast given pleasure, and all whom thou hast loved, together with all whom thou hast hated, —yea, I will gather them all round about thee, and will uncover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
੩੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਬਣਾਏ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਸੀ, ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਿਰੋਧਤਾ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਪੜਦਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੰਗੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ।
38 And I will judge thee, as adulteresses and women that shed blood are judged; and I will bring upon thee the blood of fury and jealousy.
੩੮ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਿਭਚਾਰਨ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਵਗਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਣਖ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
39 And I will also give thee up into their hand, and they shall pull down thy eminences, and shall break down thy elevations; and they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and they shall take thy elegant ornaments, and leave thee naked and bare.
੩੯ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਗੁੰਬਦ ਢਾਹ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋੜ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਲਾਹ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਨਾਲੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਖੋਹ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨੰਗੀ ਧੜੰਗੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
40 And they shall bring up against thee an assembly, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords;
੪੦ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਭੀੜ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਲਿਆਉਣਗੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ।
41 And they shall burn thy houses with fire, and execute punishments on thee before the eyes of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from being a harlot, and also the wages [of sin] shalt thou not give any more.
੪੧ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਫੂਕ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਰਚੀ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਂਗੀ।
42 And then will I assuage my fury on thee, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
੪੨ਤਦ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਹੱਟ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
43 Because that thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, but didst irritate me with all these things: behold, therefore I also will bring thy course upon thy head, saith the Lord Eternal, and thou shalt no more commit incest with all thy [other] abominations.
੪੩ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪੈਣ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਚਪੁਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਂਗੀ।
44 Behold, every one that speaketh in proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As the mother is, so is her daughter.
੪੪ਵੇਖ, ਸਾਰੇ ਕਹਾਉਤਾਂ ਆਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਹ ਕਹਾਵਤ ਆਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ “ਜਿਹੀ ਮਾਂ ਤੇਹੀ ਧੀ।”
45 Thou art thy mother's daughter, loathing her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, who have loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Emorite.
੪੫ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਸ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਓ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਸੀ।
46 And thy elder sister is Samaria, she with her daughters, that dwelleth at thy left hand, and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom with her daughters.
੪੬ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੈਣ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੈਣ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
47 Yet not even in their ways didst thou walk, nor act according to their abominations: as though this were quite too little, and thou wast more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
੪੭ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਾਣੋ ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੈੜੀ ਨਿੱਕਲੀ।
48 As I live, saith the Lord Eternal, Sodom thy sister, she with her daughters, hath not done as thou hast done, thou with thy daughters.
੪੮ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਭੈਣ ਸਦੂਮ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਨਾ ਉਹ ਨੇ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ, ਜਿਹਾ ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: Pride, abundance of food, and prosperous security were hers and her daughters'; but the hand of the poor and needy did she not strengthen.
੪੯ਵੇਖ, ਤੇਰੀ ਭੈਣ ਸਦੂਮ ਦਾ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਇਹ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਘਮੰਡ ਕਰਦੀ, ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ ਤੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
50 And they became haughty, and committed abominations before me: therefore did I remove them when I saw their course.
੫੦ਉਹ ਹੰਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
51 And Samaria hath not committed even the half of thy sins; but thou didst multiply thy abominations more than they; and thou hast justified thy sisters through all thy abominations which thou hast done.
੫੧ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਅੱਧੇ ਪਾਪ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ।
52 Bear then thou also thy own confusion, which thou didst adjudge unto each of thy sisters; through thy sins, which thou hast committed more abominably than they, are they made more righteous than thou: therefore thou also—be ashamed, and bear thy confusion, since thou hast justified thy sisters.
੫੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ਣਾਂ ਦੱਸਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੀ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੀ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਕਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਜਾਪਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
53 And I will bring back again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and the captivity of the captives in the midst of them:
੫੩ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ, ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ,
54 In order that thou mayest bear thy confusion, and mayest be confounded because of all that thou hast done, when thou art a comfort unto them.
੫੪ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਆਪ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
55 And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former state, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former state.
੫੫ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ-ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੁੜ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਤੇ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ, ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਮੁੜ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਤੇ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
56 And was not thy sister Sodom a report in thy mouth in the days of thy pride,
੫੬ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਮੰਡ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਸਦੂਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਸੀ।
57 Before yet thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all those round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, who taunted thee on all sides?
੫੭ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਪਰਗਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸਨ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਾ ਆਖਿਆ।
58 Thy incest and thy abominations, —thou thyself hadst to bear them, saith the Lord.
੫੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੁੱਚਪੁਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਜੋਗ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
59 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, thou who hast despised the oath by breaking the covenant.
੫੯ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੂੰ ਕੀਤੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹੁੰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਸਮਝਿਆ,
60 Nevertheless will I indeed remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
੬੦ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਸ ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ, ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
61 And thou shalt then remember thy ways, and be confounded, when thou receivest thy sisters, both those that are older than thou and younger than thou: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, though not because thou wast faithful to the covenant.
੬੧ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੈਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਵੇਂਗੀ, ਤਦ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਿੱਛਲੀਆਂ ਚਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੀਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord:
੬੨ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਨੇਮ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ,
63 In order that thou mayest remember, and feel ashamed, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy confusion, when I forgive thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Eternal.
੬੩ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਕਰੇਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਫੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਭੋ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
