< Ezekiel 12 >

1 The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote mwen. Li te di:
2 Son of man, in the midst of a rebellious family art thou dwelling, who have eyes to see, and see not; who have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious family.
Fis a lòm, ou rete nan mitan yon kay rebèl, ki gen zye pou wè, men yo pa wè, e zòrèy pou tande, men yo pa tande; paske se kay rebèl yo ye.
3 But thou, O son of man, prepare for thyself vessels for going into exile, and wander away by day before their eyes; and thou shalt wander away from thy place to another place before their eyes: perhaps they may become aware that they are a rebellious family.
“Pou sa, fis a lòm, prepare valiz ou menm pou ou ekzile e antre an egzil nan mitan jounen an kote yo ka wè l byen klè. Nan egzil, ou va deplase yon kote pou rive yon lòt kote devan zye yo. Petèt yo va konprann, malgre se yon kay rebèl yo ye.
4 Then shalt thou carry forth thy vessels, like vessels of exile, by day before their eyes: and thou shalt go forth at evening before their eyes, as they do that go forth into exile.
Mete bagaj ou deyò devan zye yo, kon bagaj pou egzil. Konsa, ou va sòti deyò nan aswè devan zye yo, tankou sila ki prale an egzil yo.
5 Before their eyes break a hole through the wall, and carry [them] through it.
Fouye yon twou nan miray la devan zye yo, e sòti ladann pou vin deyò.
6 Before their [eyes] shalt thou bear them upon thy shoulders, in the dark shalt thou carry them forth: thy face shalt thou cover, that thou mayest not see the ground; for as a token have I set thee unto the house of Israel.
Mete bagaj ou sou zepòl ou devan yo pou yo wè e pote li sòti deyò nan aswè. Ou va kouvri figi ou pou ou pa ka wè peyi a, paske Mwen plase ou kon yon sign pou lakay Israël.”
7 And I did so as I had been commanded; my vessels I carried forth by day, like vessels of exile, and in the evening I broke a hole for myself through the wall with my hand: in the dark I brought them forth, and I bore them upon my shoulder before their eyes.
Mwen te fè sa konsa jan mwen te kòmande a. Nan lajounen, mwen te mennen bagaj mwen deyò, tankou bagaj a yon egzile. Epi nan aswè, mwen te fouye yon twou nan miray la ak men m. Mwen te sòti deyò nan fènwa a e te pote li sou zepòl mwen pou yo ta ka wè l.
8 And the word of the Lord came unto me in the morning, saying,
Nan maten, pawòl SENYÈ a te rive kote mwen e te di:
9 Son of man, have not the house of Israel, the rebellious family, said unto thee, What doest thou?
“Fis a lòm, èske lakay Israël, kay rebèl sa a, pa t di ou: ‘Kisa w ap fè la a?’
10 Say thou unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, For the prince in Jerusalem is the doom, and for all the house of Israel, [and those] that are in the midst of them.
“Di yo: ‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Fado sa a se pou prens Jérusalem nan, li menm ak tout lakay Israël ki ladann nan.”’
11 Say, I am your token; just as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: into exile, into captivity, shall they wander.
“Di yo: ‘Mwen se yon sign pou nou. Jan mwen te fè, se konsa l ap vin rive nou. Konsa, yo va ale an egzil, an kaptivite.
12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth; through the wall shall they break a hole to carry [things] through it: his face shall he cover up, that he may not see the ground with his eyes.
“‘Prens ki pami yo a va chaje bagaj li sou zepòl li nan aswè pou sòti. Yo va fouye yon twou nan miray la pou fè l sòti. Li va kouvri figi li pou li pa wè peyi a ak pwòp zye li.
13 And I will spread out my net over him, and he shall be caught in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon into the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, and there shall he die.
Anplis, Mwen va voye filè Mwen sou li e li va vin kenbe nan pèlen Mwen. Konsa, Mwen va mennen li Babylone, nan peyi a Kaldeyen yo. Men li p ap wè l; malgre sa, se la l ap mouri.
14 And all that are round about him, those who assist him, and all the wings of his armies will I disperse toward every wind; and the sword will I draw out after them.
Mwen va gaye nan tout van, tout sila ki antoure li yo, moun k ap ede li yo ak tout sòlda li yo. Epi se nepe a Mwen va rale dèyè yo.
15 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.
“‘Pou yo ka konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a lè Mwen gaye yo pami nasyon yo e pwopaje yo pami peyi yo.
16 But I will leave of them men few in number from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence: in order that they may relate all their abominations among the nations whither they shall have come; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Men Mwen va epanye kèk nan yo de nepe a, gwo grangou a, ak epidemi a, pou yo ka pale tout abominasyon yo pami nasyon kote yo prale yo. Konsa, yo va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a.’”
17 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Anplis, pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote mwen e te di:
18 Son of man, thy bread shalt thou eat with quaking, and thy water shalt thou drink with trembling and with anxious care.
“Fis a lòm, manje pen ou ak tranbleman, e bwè dlo ou ak tranbleman e ak kè twouble.
19 And thou shalt say unto the people of the land, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [and] concerning the land of Israel, Their bread shall they eat with anxious care, and their water shall they drink with confusion, for the cause that her land will be desolate, deprived of its plenteousness because of the violence of all those that dwell therein.
Di a pèp peyi a: ‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a konsènan moun ki rete Jérusalem yo nan peyi Israël la: “Yo va manje pen yo ak kè twouble e bwè dlo ak gwo laperèz, akoz peyi yo va depouye nèt de tout bonte li, akoz vyolans a tout moun ki demere ladann yo.
20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid in ruins, and the land shall be made desolate: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Vil kote moun rete yo va vin devaste nèt e peyi a va vin yon dezolasyon. Konsa, ou va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a.”’”
21 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote mwen e te di:
22 Son of man, what sort of proverb is that which ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are lasting long, and lost is every vision?
“Fis a lòm, ki pwovèb sa a, ke nou menm pèp la, gen konsènan peyi Israël, ki di: ‘Jou yo long e tout vizyon yo vin gate’?
23 Therefore say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will cause this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but speak unto them, The days are coming nigh, and the word of every vision.
Pou sa, di yo: ‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Mwen va fè pwovèb sa a sispann pou yo pa sèvi l ankò kon pwovèb an Israël.”’ Men di yo: “Jou yo ap apwoche ansanm ak lè pou tout vizyon yo akonpli.
24 For there shall be no more any false vision and a deceptive divination within the house of Israel.
Paske p ap gen ankò okenn fo vizyon ni okenn divinasyon flatè anndan kay Israël la.
25 For I am the Lord, —I do speak, and whatever word I do speak shall be done; it shall not be delayed any more; for in your days, O rebellious family, will I speak the word, and I will execute it, saith the Lord Eternal.
Paske Mwen menm, SENYÈ a va pale e nenpòt pawòl ke M di, va vin acheve. Sa p ap pran reta ankò, paske nan jou ou yo, O lakay rebèl, Mwen va pale pawòl la e Mwen va akonpli li,” deklare Senyè BONDYE a.’”
26 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Anplis, pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote mwen e te di:
27 Son of man, behold, the house of Israel say, The vision that he foreseeth is for distant days, and for times that are far off doth he prophesy.
“Fis a lòm, gade byen, lakay Israël ap di: ‘Vizyon ke li fè a se pou anpil ane k ap vini e li pwofetize pou yon tan ki lwen.’
28 Therefore say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, There shall not be delayed any more one of all my words; but whatever word I do speak shall be done, saith the Lord Eternal.
“Pou sa, di yo: ‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Okenn nan pawòl Mwen yo p ap pran reta ankò. Nenpòt sa ke M pale, va vin akonpli,” deklare Senyè BONDYE a.’”
