Exodus 40
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,
2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
Την πρώτην ημέραν του πρώτου μηνός θέλεις στήσει την σκηνήν, την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου.
3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and separate the ark with the vail.
Και θέλεις θέσει εκεί την κιβωτόν του μαρτυρίου, και σκεπάσει την κιβωτόν με το καταπέτασμα.
4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and arrange the order of the showbread upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
Και θέλεις εισάξει την τράπεζαν και διατάξει τα διατακτέα επ' αυτής· και θέλεις εισάξει την λυχνίαν και ανάψει τους λύχνους αυτής.
5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and thou shalt put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
Και θέλεις θέσει το χρυσούν θυσιαστήριον του θυμιάματος έμπροσθεν της κιβωτού του μαρτυρίου και επιβάλει τον τάπητα της θύρας εις την σκηνήν.
6 And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
Και θέλεις θέσει το θυσιαστήριον του ολοκαυτώματος έμπροσθεν της θύρας της σκηνής, της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου.
7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
Και θέλεις θέσει τον νιπτήρα μεταξύ της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και του θυσιαστηρίου και βάλει ύδωρ εν αυτώ.
8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and put up the hanging at the gate of the court.
Και θέλεις στήσει την αυλήν κύκλω και κρεμάσει το καταπέτασμα της πύλης της αυλής.
9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein; and thou shalt hallow it, with all its vessels, and it shall be holy.
Και θέλεις λάβει το χριστήριον έλαιον και χρίσει την σκηνήν και πάντα τα εν αυτή, και θέλεις αγιάσει αυτήν και πάντα τα σκεύη αυτής και θέλει είσθαι αγία.
10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels; and thou shalt sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
Και θέλεις χρίσει το θυσιαστήριον του ολοκαυτώματος και πάντα τα σκεύη αυτού και θέλεις αγιάσει το θυσιαστήριον· και θέλει είσθαι θυσιαστήριον αγιώτατον.
11 And thou shalt anoint the laver with its foot, and sanctify it.
Και θέλεις χρίσει τον νιπτήρα και την βάσιν αυτού και αγιάσει αυτόν.
12 And thou shalt bring near Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
Και θέλεις προσαγάγει τον Ααρών και τους υιούς αυτού εις την θύραν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και νίψει αυτούς με ύδωρ.
13 And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may be a priest unto me.
Και θέλεις ενδύσει τον Ααρών τας αγίας στολάς και θέλεις χρίσει αυτόν, και αγιάσει αυτόν, και θέλει ιερατεύει εις εμέ.
14 And his sons shalt thou bring near, and clothe them with coats:
Και θέλεις προσαγάγει τους υιούς αυτού και ενδύσει αυτούς χιτώνας.
15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou hast anointed their father, that they may be priests unto me; and this shall be, that their anointing shall be unto them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
Και θέλεις χρίσει αυτούς, καθώς έχρισας τον πατέρα αυτών, και θέλουσιν ιερατεύει εις εμέ· και θέλει είσθαι εις αυτούς το χρίσμα αυτών προς παντοτεινήν ιερατείαν εις τας γενεάς αυτών.
16 And Moses did so; all, just as the Lord had commanded him, so did he.
Και έκαμεν ο Μωϋσής κατά πάντα όσα προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις αυτόν· ούτως έκαμε.
17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
Και τον πρώτον μήνα του δευτέρου έτους, την πρώτην του μηνός, εστήθη η σκηνή.
18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
Και έστησεν ο Μωϋσής την σκηνήν και έβαλε τα υποβάσια αυτής και έστησε τας σανίδας αυτής και έβαλε τους μοχλούς αυτής και έστησε τους στύλους αυτής.
19 And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it above; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Και εξήπλωσε τα παραπετάσματα επί την σκηνήν, και έβαλε το επικάλυμμα της σκηνής επ' αυτήν άνωθεν· καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and placed the staves on the ark; and he put the mercy-seat upon the ark above.
Και λαβών το μαρτύριον έθεσεν εν τη κιβωτώ, και έβαλε τους μοχλούς εις την κιβωτόν, και έβαλε το ιλαστήριον επί την κιβωτόν άνωθεν,
21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the separation, and made therewith a separation for the ark of the testimony; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
και έφερε την κιβωτόν εις την σκηνήν, και επέθηκε το καλυπτήριον καταπέτασμα και εσκέπασε την κιβωτόν του μαρτυρίου· καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
22 And he put the table in the tabernacle of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle, northward, without the vail.
Και έθεσε την τράπεζαν εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου κατά το μέρος της σκηνής το προς βορράν έξωθεν του καταπετάσματος,
23 And he arranged upon it the order of bread before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
και διέταξεν επ' αυτής τους άρτους τους διατεταγμένους, ενώπιον Κυρίου· καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
24 And he placed the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle, southward.
Και έθεσε την λυχνίαν εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου απέναντι της τραπέζης κατά το μέρος της σκηνής το προς μεσημβρίαν,
25 And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
και ανήψε τους λύχνους ενώπιον Κυρίου· καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
26 And he placed the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation before the vail.
Και έθεσε το χρυσούν θυσιαστήριον εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου απέναντι του καταπετάσματος,
27 And he burnt thereon the incense of spices; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
και εθυμίασεν επ' αυτού ευώδες θυμίαμα· καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
28 And he put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
Και επέθηκε τον τάπητα εις την θύραν της σκηνής.
29 And the altar of burnt-offering he placed by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation; and he offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meat-offering; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Και το θυσιαστήριον του ολοκαυτώματος έθεσε παρά την θύραν της σκηνής, της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου, και προσέφερεν επ' αυτού το ολοκαύτωμα και την εξ αλφίτων προσφοράν· καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
30 And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, for washing.
Και έθεσε τον νιπτήρα μεταξύ της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και του θυσιαστηρίου και έβαλεν εν αυτώ, ύδωρ, διά να νίπτωνται·
31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed therefrom their hands and their feet.
και ένιπτον εξ αυτού ο Μωϋσής και ο Ααρών και οι υιοί αυτού τας χείρας αυτών και τους πόδας αυτών.
32 When they went in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed themselves; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Ότε εισήρχοντο εις την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου και ότε προσήρχοντο εις το θυσιαστήριον, ενίπτοντο καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and put up the hanging of the gate of the court; and so did Moses finish the work.
Και έστησε την αυλήν κύκλω της σκηνής και του θυσιαστηρίου και εκρέμασε τον τάπητα της πύλης της αυλής. Και συνετέλεσεν ο Μωϋσής το έργον.
34 And the cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
Τότε εκάλυψεν η νεφέλη την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου και δόξα Κυρίου ενέπλησε την σκηνήν.
35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation; because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
Και δεν ηδυνήθη ο Μωϋσής να εισέλθη εις την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου· διότι η νεφέλη εκάθητο επ' αυτήν, και δόξα Κυρίου ενέπλησε την σκηνήν.
36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel were wont to go onward in all their journeyings.
Και ότε η νεφέλη ανέβαινεν επάνωθεν της σκηνής, οι υιοί Ισραήλ εσηκόνοντο καθ' όλας αυτών τας οδοιπορίας·
37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that is was taken up.
αν όμως η νεφέλη δεν ανέβαινε, τότε δεν εσηκόνοντο μέχρι της ημέρας της αναβάσεως αυτής.
38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and a fire was by night on it, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeyings.
διότι η νεφέλη του Κυρίου ήτο επί της σκηνής την ημέραν, και πυρ ήτο επ' αυτής την νύκτα, ενώπιον παντός του οίκου Ισραήλ· καθ' όλας αυτών τας οδοιπορίας.
