1 And he made the altar of burnt-offering of shittim wood: five cubits was its length, and five cubits its breadth; it was foursquare, and three cubits was its height.
Derpå lavede han Brændofferalteret af Akacietræ, fem Alen langt og fem Alen bredt, firkantet, og tre Alen højt.
2 And he made its horns on its four corners, from itself were its horns; and he overlaid it with copper.
Han lavede Horn til dets fire Hjørner, således at de var i eet dermed, overtrak det med Kobber
3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basins, and the forks, and the fire-pans: all its vessels made he of copper.
og lavede alt Alterets Tilbehør, Karrene, Skovlene, Skålene, Gaflerne og Panderne; alt dets Tilbehør lavede han af Kobber.
4 And he made for the altar a grating, a network of copper, under its compass beneath, even unto the half of it.
Derpå omgav han Alteret med et flettet Kobbergitter neden under dets Liste, således at det nåede op til Alterets halve Højde.
5 And he cast four rings on the four corners of the grating of copper, as receptacles for the staves.

6 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with copper.
Bærestængerne lavede han at Akacietræ og overtrak dem med Kobber.
7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it by means of them; hollow, of boards, made he it.
Og Stængerne stak han gennem Ringene på Alterets Sider, for at det kunde bæres med dem. Han lavede det hult af Brædder.
8 And he made the laver of copper, and its foot of copper, of the mirrors of the assembled women who had assembled in troops at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Derpå lavede han Vandkummen med Fodstykke af Kobber og brugte dertil Spejle, som tilhørte Kvinderne, der gjorde Tjeneste ved Indgangen til Åbenbaringsteltet.
9 And he made the court: on the south side, on the right, the hangings of the court were of twisted linen, of one hundred cubits;

10 Their pillars were twenty, with their twenty sockets of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.

11 And for the north side one hundred cubits; their pillars were twenty, with their twenty sockets of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.
Til Nordsiden hundrede Alen med tyve Piller og tyve Fodstykker af Kobber og med Knager og Bånd af Sølv til Pillerne.
12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits; their pillars were ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.
Til Vestsiden det halvtredsindstyve Alen lange Omhæng med ti Piller og ti Fodstykker og med Knager og Bånd af Sølv til Pillerne.
13 And for the front side, eastward, fifty cubits.
Og til Forsiden mod Øst, der var halvtredsindstyve Alen bred,
14 Hangings of fifteen cubits, were on the one wing: their pillars were three, and their sockets three.

15 And for the other wing, on both sides of the gate of the court, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars were three, and their sockets three.

16 all the hangings of the court round about were of twisted linen.
Alle Omhæng rundt om Forgården var af tvundet Byssus,
17 And the sockets for the pillars were of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets, of silver; and the overlaying of their tops was of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.
Fodstykkerne til Pillerne af Kobber, men deres Knager og Bånd af Sølv; alle Pillernes Hoveder var overtrukket med Sølv; og de havde Bånd af Sølv.
18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was the work of the embroiderer, of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and twisted linen; and twenty cubits was the length, and the height, in the breadth, was five cubits, answering to the hangings of the court.
Forhænget til Forgårdens Indgang var af violet og rødt Purpurgarn i broget Vævning, karmoisinrødt Garn og tvundet Byssus, tyve Alen langt og fem Alen højt, svarende til Bredden på Forgårdens Omhæng.
19 And the pillars for the same were four, with their four sockets of copper; their hooks were of silver, and the overlaying of their tops and their fillets, of silver.
Dertil hørte fire Piller med fire Fodstykker af Kobber; Knagerne var af Sølv og Overtrækket på Hovederne og Båndene ligeledes af Sølv.
20 And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about were of copper.
Alle Pælene til Boligen og Forgården rundt om var af Kobber.
21 These are the accounts [of the articles furnished] for the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of the testimony, which were counted, according to the order of Moses, the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron, the priest.

29 And the copper of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.
