Exodus 35
1 And Moses gathered together all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said unto them, These are the things which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.
Ainsi, toute la multitude des enfants d’Israël assemblée, il leur dit: Voici ce que le Seigneur a commandé que l’on fasse.
2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doth work thereon shall be put to death.
Pendant six jours, vous travaillerez, le septième jour vous sera saint, étant le sabbat et le repos du Seigneur; celui qui travaillera en ce jour-là sera mis à mort.
3 Ye shall not kindle any fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
Vous n’allumerez de feu dans aucune de vos demeures au jour du sabbat.
4 And Moses said unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, as followeth, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying,
Moïse dit encore à toute l’assemblée des enfants d’Israël: Voici la parole qu’a ordonnée le Seigneur, disant:
5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord; whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord: Gold, and silver, and copper,
Mettez à part chez vous des prémices pour le Seigneur. Que chacun offre volontairement et porte de cœur au Seigneur, de l’or, de l’argent et de l’airain;
6 And blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and linen thread, and goats' hair,
De l’hyacinthe, et de la pourpre, de l’écarlate deux fois teinte, du fin lin, des poils de chèvre;
7 And rams' skills dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
Des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, et des peaux violettes, des bois de sétim;
8 And oil for the lighting, and spices, for the anointing oil, and for the incense of spices,
De l’huile pour entretenir les luminaires, et pour composer le parfum à oindre et le parfum à brûler d’une odeur très suave:
9 And onyx stones, and stones for setting, for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
Des pierres d’onyx et des pierres précieuses pour l’ornement de l’éphod et du rational.
10 And all the wise-hearted among you shall come, and make all that which the Lord hath commanded:
Quiconque de vous est intelligent, qu’il vienne, et qu’il fasse ce que le Seigneur a commandé:
11 The tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its hooks, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;
C’est-à-dire, le tabernacle, son toit, et la couverture, les anneaux, les ais avec les leviers, les pieux et les soubassements,
12 The ark, and its staves, [with] the mercy-seat, and the vail of the separation;
L’arche et les leviers, le propitiatoire et le voile qui est suspendu devant lui;
13 The table, and its staves, and all its vessels, and the showbread;
La table avec les leviers, les vases et les pains de proposition;
14 And the candlestick for the lighting, and its vessel, and its lamps, with the oil for the lighting;
Le chandelier pour soutenir les luminaires, ses vases et les lampes et l’huile pour l’entretien des lumières;
15 And the altar of incense, and its staves, and the anointing oil, and the incense of spices, and the hanging for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle;
L’autel du parfum à brûler et les leviers, l’huile de l’onction et le parfum à brûler, composé d’aromates; le voile à la porte du tabernacle;
16 The altar of burnt-offering, with its grating of copper, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its foot;
L’autel de l’holocauste, et sa grille d’airain avec ses leviers et ses vases; le bassin et sa base;
17 The hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court;
Les rideaux du parvis avec les colonnes et leurs soubassements; le voile à la porte du vestibule;
18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords;
Les pieux du tabernacle et du parvis avec leurs cordages;
19 The cloths of service, to do service therewith in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in as priests.
Les vêtements, dont l’usage est pour le service du sanctuaire, les ornements d’Aaron, le pontife, et ceux de ses fils, afin qu’ils exercent les fonctions du sacerdoce pour moi.
20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
Alors toute la multitude des enfants d’Israël étant sortie de la présence de Moïse,
21 And they came, every man whose heart stirred him up; and every one whom his spirit made willing, brought the Lord's offering for the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.
Ils offrirent d’un cœur très empressé et dévoué les prémices au Seigneur, pour faire l’ouvrage du tabernacle de témoignage. Pour tout ce qui était nécessaire au culte et aux vêtements saints,
22 And they came, the men with the women; whoever was willing-hearted, brought bracelets, and earrings, and finger-rings, and tablets, all kinds of ornaments of gold, and every man that offered an offering of gold unto the Lord.
Les hommes avec les femmes donnèrent des bracelets, des pendants d’oreilles, des anneaux et des ornements de la main droite: tout vase d’or fut mis à part comme offrandes au Seigneur.
23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and linen thread, and goats' hair, and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, brought them.
Si quelqu’un avait de l’hyacinthe, de la pourpre, de l’écarlate deux fois teinte, du fin lin, des poils de chèvre, des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux violettes,
24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and copper brought it as the Lord's offering; and every one with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
Des métaux d’argent et d’airain, il les offrit au Seigneur, ainsi que des bois de sétim, pour les divers usages.
25 And all the women that were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and they brought that which they had spun, of the blue, and of the purple, and of the scarlet yarn, and of the linen thread.
Or les femmes habiles aussi donnèrent ce qu’elles avaient filé, l’hyacinthe, la pourpre, l’écarlate, le fin lin,
26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats' hair.
Et les poils de chèvre, accordant toutes ces choses de leur propre mouvement.
27 And the princes brought the onyx stones, and the stones for setting, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
Mais les princes offrirent les pierres d’onyx, les pierres précieuses pour l’éphod et le rational,
28 And the spice and the oil, for lighting, and for the anointing oil, and for the incense of spices.
Les aromates et l’huile pour entretenir les luminaires et pour préparer le parfum à oindre, et composer le parfum à brûler d’une odeur très suave.
29 Every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made, by the hand of Moses, even that brought the children of Israel as a free-will offering unto the Lord.
Tous les hommes et toutes les femmes offrirent leurs présents d’un cœur dévoué, afin que fussent faits tous les ouvrages que le Seigneur avait commandés par l’entremise de Moïse. Ainsi tous les enfants d’Israël dédièrent des offrandes volontaires au Seigneur.
30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Chur, of the tribe of Judah;
Alors Moïse dit aux enfants d’Israël: Voilà que le Seigneur a appelé nommément Béséléel, fils d’Uri, fils de Hur, de la tribu de Juda;
31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
Et il l’a rempli de l’esprit de Dieu, de sagesse, d’intelligence, de science et de toute connaissance,
32 And to devise works of art, to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper,
Pour inventer et faire un travail en or, en argent et en airain,
33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in the carving of wood, to make any manner of work of art.
Ainsi qu’en gravure de pierres et en ouvrage de menuiserie. Tout ce qui peut être trouvé par l’art,
34 And to teach hath he put in his heart, both to him, and to Aholiab, the son of Achissamach, of the tribe of Dan.
Il l’a mis en son cœur. Il a appelé aussi Ooliab, fils d’Achisamech, de la tribu de Dan.
35 He hath filled them with wisdom of heart, to execute all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the designing weaver, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet yarn, and in linen thread, and of the weaver, of those that do every species of work, and of those that devise works of art.
Il les a doués tous les deux de sagesse, afin qu’ils exécutent des ouvrages de menuisier, de tisseur en diverses couleurs, de brodeur d’hyacinthe, de pourpre, d’écarlate deux fois teinte et de fin lin; qu’ils fassent de tous les tissus et qu’ils en trouvent des nouveaux de toutes sortes.
