Exodus 27
1 And thou shalt make the altar of shittim wood: five cubits long, and five cubits broad, a foursquare shall the altar be, and three cubits shall be its height.
Tu feras encore un autel de bois de sétim, qui aura cinq coudées en longueur et autant en largeur, c’est-à-dire carré, et trois coudées en hauteur.
2 And thou shalt make its horns on its four corners, from itself shall its horns be; and thou shalt overlay it with copper.
Mais les cornes en sortiront aux quatre angles; et tu le couvriras d’airain.
3 And thou shalt make its pots to receive its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its forks, and its fire-pans; all its vessels thou shalt make of copper.
Et tu feras à son usage des chaudières pour recevoir les cendres, des pincettes, des fourchettes et des brasiers; tu feras tous ces instruments en airain.
4 And thou shalt make for it a grating, of a network of copper; and thou shalt make upon the net four rings of copper, on its four corners.
Tu feras encore une grille d’airain en forme de rets: à ses quatre angles seront des anneaux d’airain,
5 And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, and the net shall reach even to the half of the altar.
Que tu mettras au-dessous du foyer de l’autel: et la grille viendra jusqu’au milieu de l’autel.
6 And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with copper.
Tu feras aussi deux leviers d’autel de bois de sétim, que tu couvriras de lames d’airain:
7 And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, when they bear it.
Et tu les passeras dans les anneaux; et ils seront des deux côtés de l’autel pour le porter.
8 Hollow, of boards, shalt thou make it; as it was shown to thee on the mount, so shall they make it.
Tu ne feras point l’autel solide, mais vide et creux au dedans, comme il t’a été montré sur la montagne.
9 And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side, on the right, the hangings for the court, of twisted linen, shall be a hundred cubits in length, for the one side.
Tu feras aussi le parvis du tabernacle au côté austral duquel seront contre le midi des rideaux de fin lin retors: un seul côté tiendra cent coudées en longueur.
10 And its pillars shall be twenty, with their twenty sockets of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.
Et tu y poseras vingt colonnes avec autant de soubassements d’airain, lesquelles auront leurs chapiteaux avec leurs ornements d’argent.
11 And likewise for the north side in the length there shall be hangings one hundred cubits in length, and its pillars twenty with their twenty sockets of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.
De même aussi du côté de l’aquilon il y aura des rideaux de cent coudées de long, vingt colonnes et des soubassements d’airain de même nombre; leurs chapiteaux avec leurs ornements seront d’argent.
12 And [for] the breadth of the court on the west side shall be fifty cubits of hangings; their pillars shall be ten, and their sockets ten.
Mais dans la largeur du parvis qui regarde l’occident il y aura dans l’espace de cinquante coudées des rideaux, dix colonnes et autant de soubassements.
13 And the breadth of the court on the front side, eastward, shall be fifty cubits.
De même, dans la largeur du parvis, laquelle regarde l’orient, il y aura cinquante coudées,
14 And fifteen cubits of hangings shall be on the one wing; their pillars shall be three and their sockets three.
Dans lesquelles seront affectés à un côté des rideaux de quinze coudées, trois colonnes et autant de soubassements:
15 And on the other wing shall be fifteen cubits of hangings; their pillars shall be three, and their sockets three.
Et de l’autre côté seront des rideaux ayant quinze coudées, trois colonnes et autant de soubassements.
16 And for the gate of the court shall be a hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and twisted linen, the work of the embroiderer; with four pillars for the same, and their four sockets.
Mais à l’entrée du parvis on fera un rideau de vingt coudées d’hyacinthe, de pourpre, d’écarlate deux fois teinte et d’un fin lin retors, en ouvrage de brodeur: cette entrée aura quatre colonnes et autant de soubassements.
17 All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of copper.
Toutes les colonnes du parvis seront revêtues tout autour de lames d’argent; elles auront des chapiteaux d’argent et des soubassements d’airain.
18 The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty by fifty, and the height five cubits, of twisted linen, and the sockets for the same of copper.
En longueur le parvis aura cent coudées, en largeur cinquante; sa hauteur sera de cinq coudées; et il sera fait de fin lin retors, et il aura des soubassements d’airain.
19 All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, shall be of copper.
Tous les vases du tabernacle destinés à tous les usages et à toutes les cérémonies, tant ses pieux que ceux du parvis, tu les feras d’airain.
20 And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure olive oil, beaten out, for the lighting, to cause a light to burn always.
Ordonne aux enfants d’Israël qu’ils t’apportent de l’huile d’oliviers très pure, et pilée au mortier, afin qu’une lampe brûle toujours.
21 In the tabernacle of the congregation, without the vail, which is before the testimony, shall Aaron with his sons arrange it [for] from the evening to the morning, before the Lord; as a statute for ever unto their generations, on behalf of the children of Israel.
Dans le tabernacle de témoignage en dehors du voile qui est suspendu devant le témoignage. Et Aaron et ses fils la placeront, afin qu’elle éclaire jusqu’au matin devant le Seigneur. Ce sera un culte perpétuel durant leurs successions parmi les enfants d’Israël.
