Exodus 13
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
௧யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:
2 Sanctify unto me all the first-born, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
௨“இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்குள் மனிதர்களிலும் மிருகஜீவன்களிலும் கர்ப்பம்திறந்து பிறக்கிற, முதற்பேறான அனைத்தையும் எனக்குப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்து; அது என்னுடையது” என்றார்.
3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, on which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from here: and no leavened bread shall be eaten.
௩அப்பொழுது மோசே மக்களை நோக்கி: “நீங்கள் அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட இந்த நாளை நினையுங்கள்; யெகோவா பலத்த கையினால் உங்களை இந்த இடத்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்தார்; ஆகையால், நீங்கள் புளித்த அப்பம் சாப்பிடவேண்டாம்.
4 This day go ye out, in the month of Abib.
௪ஆபீப் மாதத்தின் இந்த நாளிலே நீங்கள் புறப்பட்டீர்கள்.
5 And it shall be, when the Lord doth bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Emorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he hath sworn unto thy fathers to give unto thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt perform this service in this month.
௫ஆகையால், யெகோவா உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று உன்னுடைய முன்னோர்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டதும், பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிறதுமான தேசமாகிய கானானியர்கள், ஏத்தியர்கள், எமோரியர்கள், ஏவியர்கள், எபூசியர்கள் என்பவர்களுடைய தேசத்திற்கு உன்னை வரச்செய்யும் காலத்தில், நீ இந்த மாதத்திலே இந்த ஆராதனையை செய்வாயாக.
6 Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.
௬புளிப்பில்லா அப்பத்தை ஏழுநாட்கள்வரை சாப்பிடவேண்டும்; ஏழாம்நாளிலே யெகோவாவுக்குப் பண்டிகை அனுசரிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten these seven days; and there shall not be seen with thee any leavened bread, neither shall there be seen with thee any leaven in all thy boundaries.
௭அந்த ஏழுநாட்களும் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பம் சாப்பிடவேண்டும்; புளிப்புள்ள அப்பம் உன்னிடத்திலே காணப்படவேண்டாம்; உன்னுடைய எல்லைக்குள் எங்கும் புளித்தமாவும் உன்னிடத்தில் காணப்படவேண்டாம்.
8 And thou shalt tell thy son on that day, saying, This is done for the sake of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
௮அந்த நாளில் நீ உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளை நோக்கி: நான் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படும்போது, யெகோவா எனக்குச் செய்ததற்காக இப்படி நடப்பிக்கப்படுகிறது என்று சொல்.
9 And it shall be unto thee for a sign upon thy hand, and for a memorial between thy eyes, in order that the law of the Lord may be in thy mouth; for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee forth out of Egypt.
௯யெகோவாவின் நியாயப்பிரமாணம் உன்னுடைய வாயிலிருக்கும்படி, இது உன்னுடைய கையிலே ஒரு அடையாளமாகவும் உன்னுடைய கண்களின் நடுவே நினைப்பூட்டுதலாகவும் இருப்பதாக; பலத்த கையினால் யெகோவா உன்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்தார்;
10 And thou shalt keep this ordinance in its season, from year to year.
௧0ஆகையால், நீ வருடந்தோறும் குறித்த காலத்தில் இந்த நியாயத்தை அனுசரித்து வரவும்.
11 And it shall be, when the Lord doth bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he hath sworn unto thee and to thy fathers, and giveth it to thee,
௧௧மேலும், “யெகோவா உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய முன்னோர்களுக்கும் ஆணையிட்டபடியே, உன்னைக் கானானியரின் தேசத்திலே வரச்செய்து, அதை உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும்போது,
12 That thou shalt set apart all that openeth the womb unto the Lord; and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou shalt have, the males, shall belong to the Lord.
௧௨கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கும் அனைத்தையும், உனக்கு இருக்கும் மிருகஜீவன்களின் முதல்பிறப்பு அனைத்தையும், யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பாயாக; அவைகளிலுள்ள ஆண்கள் யெகோவாவுடையவைகள்.
13 And every firstling of an ass shalt thou redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then shalt thou break its neck: and all the first-born of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
௧௩கழுதையின் முதற்பிறப்பையெல்லாம் ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியால் மீட்டுக்கொள்வாயாக; மீட்காவிட்டால், அதின் கழுத்தை உடைத்துப்போடு. உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளில் முதற்பேறான எல்லோரையும் மீட்டுக்கொள்.
14 And it shall be, when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;
௧௪பிற்காலத்தில் உன்னுடைய மகன்: இது என்ன என்று உன்னைக் கேட்டால்; நீ அவனை நோக்கி: யெகோவா எங்களைப் பலத்த கையினால் அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்தார்.
15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh obstinately refused to let us go, that the Lord slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of beast; therefore do I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my children must I redeem.
௧௫எங்களை விடாதபடி, பார்வோன் கடினப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது, யெகோவா எகிப்து தேசத்தில் மனிதரின் முதல்பிள்ளைகள்முதல் மிருகஜீவன்களின் முதற்பிறப்புகள்வரையும் உண்டாயிருந்த முதற்பிறப்புகள் யாவையும் கொன்றுபோட்டார்; ஆகையால், கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கும் ஆண்களையெல்லாம் நான் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பலியிட்டு, என்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளில் முதற்பிறப்புகள் அனைத்தையும் மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
16 And it shall be for a sign upon thy hand, and for frontlets between thy eyes; that by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt.
௧௬யெகோவா எங்களைப் பலத்த கையினால் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்வதற்கு, இது உன்னுடைய கையில் அடையாளமாகவும், உன்னுடைய கண்களின் நடுவே ஞாபகக்குறியாகவும் இருப்பதாக என்று சொல்வாயாக” என்றான்.
17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh let the people go, that God did not lead them the way through the land of the Philistines, because it was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and return to Egypt.
௧௭பார்வோன் மக்களைப் போகவிட்டபின்பு: மக்கள் யுத்தத்தைக் கண்டால் மனமடிந்து, எகிப்திற்குத் திரும்புவார்கள் என்று சொல்லி; பெலிஸ்தர்களின் தேசத்தின் வழியாகப் போவது அருகாமையாக இருந்தாலும், தேவன் அவர்களை அந்த வழியாக நடத்தாமல்,
18 But God led the people about, by the way of the wilderness to the Red Sea: and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.
௧௮செங்கடலின் வனாந்திர வழியாக மக்களைச் சுற்றிப் போகச்செய்தார். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து கோத்திரம் கோத்திரமாக புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.
19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him; for he had caused the children of Israel to swear, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall then carry up my bones away hence with you.
௧௯மோசே தன்னோடு யோசேப்பின் எலும்புகளை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போனான். தேவன் நிச்சயமாக உங்களைச் சந்திப்பார்; அப்பொழுது உங்களுடன் என்னுடைய எலும்புகளை இந்த இடத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுபோங்கள் என்று யோசேப்பு சொல்லி, இஸ்ரவேலர்களை உறுதியாக ஆணையிடும்படிச் செய்திருந்தான்.
20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, at the edge of the wilderness.
௨0அவர்கள் சுக்கோத்திலிருந்து பயணப்பட்டு, வனாந்திரத்தின் ஓரமாக ஏத்தாமிலே முகாமிட்டார்கள்.
21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give light to them; that they might go by day and by night:
௨௧அவர்கள் இரவும் பகலும் வழிநடக்கக்கூடும்படி, யெகோவா பகலில் அவர்களை வழிநடத்த மேகத்தூணிலும், இரவில் அவர்களுக்கு வெளிச்சம் காட்ட அக்கினித்தூணிலும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பு சென்றார்.
22 He took not away the pillar of cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
௨௨பகலிலே மேகத்தூணிலும், இரவிலே அக்கினித்தூணிலும் மக்களிடத்திலிருந்து விலகிப்போகவில்லை.
